Can you ask tarot cards when something will happen?
Tarot cards can be used to predict events and provide insights into the future. Each suit of cards is linked to a specific time period, such as days or spring, weeks or autumn, months or summer, or years or winter. However, interpreting the cards can be challenging due to the absence of specific meanings for “yes” or “no”. To overcome this, one can preselect two cards representing “yes” and “no” and then shuffle them.
Open-ended questions can also provide more insight into the situation, such as what to work on in a relationship or consider when considering the future of a relationship. While close-ended questions should not be avoided, open-ended ones allow for more information to be gained. By incorporating these techniques into your Tarot reading, you can better understand the future and make informed decisions about your life.

Justice is more on the negative. I will rather people NOT FALL IN LOVE with one. However, I fell in love with my soul mate and got married. She is almost always honorable and honest, perfect in soul. She is a “Justice Type” a “Right is right, Wrong is wrong” type. Thus leaving her with few friends all her life. However, we were only able to stay for this long because she really loved me and doesn’t desire to hurt me. She is a strong backer for me saying that I didn’t even do anything wrong. And she’s a super hotty so why not. About tarot, she advised people not to marry someone like her and that it takes a very strong person to keep up with her. Being straightly near perfect, she’s as dangerous as a god towards a lot of people in a lot of moments I’ve witnessed, but I said I will be with her no matter what. Even a strong woman needs love. They are deadly, but they’re very beautiful people too!
What a great lesson on the Justice card! I often feel confused when Justice shows up in a reading, because for me it represents such a “hard” and “cold” human value, like “it is Justice and that’s all”. But now I want to see it, like you said, like this otherworldly ability to see things beyond bias. Thanks for this lesson, I struggle with this card a lot! You’re the best teacher, as always.
I think what helped me is seeing she is using the left feminine hand to evaluate and she uses the right masculine hand to carry out the judgement. It leads me to think she uses the feminine insight to evaluate and she carries out the tec with masculine conviction. After intuitive evaluation she carries out the judgement without hesitation. I feel it’s not cold it’s balanced in terms of feminine and masculine
As a Libra, I totally connect with this card. She needs to make it fair in order to keep the peace. She’s gonna be pissed (i.e., reversed card) if things are not fair, and she will have something to say about the brutal truth of the matter that will hurt somebody’s feelings, which she hates to do… but she needs to restore the balance, make it fair, and ultimately restore the peace. She will be able to see things from everyone else’s point of view and try to understand their motives. If someone’s motives are selfish and careless (will affect others negatively) then she will not be in favour of them. Her message will be to find a better and more moderate way to handle the situation to avoid a messy situation (e.g., law suit)
Thank you for your perspective on this card, it resonated and overlapped quite a lot with my understanding of the card. To me this card is the one who speaks of our conditioning in this world and encourages us to dive into the why of our perspective and behavioural patterns. She doesnt judge anyones actions, because she knows the full story. She knows why I act the way I do, going back to my experiences in childhood. The «cause and effect» is in perfect balance. If someone is «behaving badly» towards me she knows why they had the need to «behave badly» and she knows what I have experience in my life that made it so triggering to me. She doesnt see evil actions, she sees symptoms of trauma (thats how I see it and therefore how I connect with this card). I always appreciate your perspective and how you deliver it. I love your pace and your being😘
I definitely see the unbiased and fairness aspect of justice card. In my tarot series she is blindfolded and in front of the earth with isis wings with light emanating from her heart. It’s definitely a connection to freeing the heart. And I guess when you talk about truth, I can see that. There is sometimes a saying about “the truth will set you free”. And this connects me to living ones truth as a way to freedom and connection with the world. Thnks for this!
Thank you, brilliant! And wow, what a dream – it seems that multi-perspective/empathic experience happens when leaving the body … near death experiences, ayahuasca healings … And I’m really enjoying and learning heaps from your card explanations. Clear but soulful – it’s a lovely combo. Re Justice, she makes me sit up straight physically, mentally and morally. And she remis me of me a bit 😃 (a blindish cap when it comes to fairness and I’m vision challenged😃 Also thanks for that ‘rising above polarity or bias) live that and aiming for it!!! Thanks again – it’s raining here and I’m bingeing you!!!✌🏻💕🐚
I see the reverse of how your energy is flowing when seeing this card. I see that she is asking you to listen to your bias, and make a choice that suits you at this time. I see that either way means the same to Justice, she is the judge whatever the wheel of fortune brings doesnt come from justice. Justice card seen alone is about introspection and she helps bring out your truth. Look at how she lowers the scale below, and raises up the sword above, as if she is ready to cut the binding of the viel. For Justice, the scales weigh your heart, and the distance she places between the sword and the scales is wide. She doesnt want you to overthink and weight things up to exhaustion, instead she wants you to consider what is obvious. I know the sword is about fixed attitudes, or mental states, and in this case, justice wants you to see yourself clearly.
I loved your talk on 11 Justice. I feel like it is about Karma along with cause and effect in a situation. How about saying it is the good angel sitting on our shoulder attempting to remind us of the big picture in terms of sowing and reaping or the end result range of outcomes due to choices made. It is always a new day with the opportunity to begin a new path but we can’t escape the manifestations we have created. We create our own Justice. I think it is a cousin to FATE.
Love your articles, thank you so much. One thing I wanted to comment was the interesting relation to the High Priestess. Justice is the Archetypal manifestation of the principal of 11. In Numerology 11 is a “2” base vibration (High Priestess), it is the next evolution of the principle of “2” so we write it as 11/2. 11 is a number principle of Mastership with altruism and inspiration (among other things lol). I love synchronicities of the universe. thank you again. Take care.
I’m in the learning stage of tarot, but feel able to connect somewhat with the Justice card as I am able usually to view things logically and with a certain amount of detachment. I don’t feel that this indicates lack of the feeling of goodwill, but lack of personal emotional involvement. As the lady says, when attacked by someone, this unemotional detachment goes out the window!
Thank you, Kate! Your insight into the cards are astounding! And I love hearing your personal discoveries of the meanings behind the cards. Reminds me that it is a JOURNEY to get to know and understand these concepts throughout our lifetime. Definitely will be journaling more on the Justice card as it’s something that I haven’t considered in depth. Probably why it’s a problem card cause we don’t know what it is asking us!
Such a great article! I love how you focused on and explained this card’s ability to avoid polarity. I think it’s so difficult for just of us to remove ourselves from all the emotions and memories and really see the heart of the issue and the truth and you explained that concept so well. Also, your hair looks amazing in this article!!
Excellent dive into this card. Thank you. The entire time you unpacked the energy of this card, I felt like you were discussing the sign Libra. I have 5 natal chart placements in Libra, and also recently received the Justice card in a tarot reading. I enjoyed your perspective here, and will be following your website more. And wow. What an intense Lucid dream.
wow, excellent explanation/description! I am impressed at the amount of research that you are putting into these deep dives! You’ve inspired me to start diving into the cards at a deeper level. I’d love to understand the meanings of the numbers and the suits. I think it would help me to understand the cards better. I have a much better understanding of Justice now. Thank you!
In my view of this Justice definitely belongs in position 8, dealing with cutting away what we no longer need or choose in the outside world. 11 following Hermit card 9, having learned to delve deep internally, Strength should be 11 which deals with our internal struggles and strength. It is my opinion that Strength, working on our internal world and struggles (Shadow Work), is far more evolved than Justice, working on the external world of the physical and what we can struggle with outside of our selves. It is often far more of an alchemical process to turn our heart and soul into gold than to turn lead into gold. I believe that having justice in position 11 is a blind that can and would trip up most souls on the path.
Hello🙂🥀 your type of deep dive tutorial is exactly what i was looking for. I love the way you interpret and connect symbols and logical meanings of the cards snd make a meaningful story behind the picture and i hope you will continue with this. It gave me sence of direction with some, for me,problematic cards that came with lot of shades…
Hey Kate 🙌🌹🎴 Thanks so much for this lesson. I can relate to not understanding this card after years too. I only receive it on rare occasions. It’s been a “stalker card” for the last month. I loved the journal prompts about what is going on for the other person. I had a serious life changing epiphany from this just now. 💯❤️🌟 Love your website!!
We live in a word built Uni-verse. Wordings are spellings. Spellings are spells. Speaking is spell casting. Narratives are the outcome. Every choice of wording we make generates a corresponding timeline of experience. Is the resulting narrative a limit or a creative guideline? No wrong answer – only another choice. The Word of Truth is ever faithful (loyal, true, isomorphic) to Reality (That which is/That I am).
In answer to your question about how we interpret Justice… well, my interpretations ebb, flow, and move about, depending on the particular reading or context. But one angle is evident here – balance, Mercury Retrograde, Libra season, etc. — tiffanyleebrown.com/burning-tarot/autumnal-justice-a-tarot-reading-for-you The most chunky part specifically about Justice card is in the 4:30 to 14:00 range, but you are invited to listen to the whole thing, of course!
It’s so interesting that this card eluded you for a long time! Makes me wonder about your natal chart—maybe? Air issues/Libra weirdness? (For me: similar problems in astrology, with Aquarius. For like two decades, despite knowing intellectually what Aquarius is Supposed to Be, i really just didn’t feel Aquarius and understand it. I guess these things work at their own time.) Oh and PS: These are lovely articles. Thank you.
I love this interpretation thank you for sharing your knowledge.🌼 Even I was not able to connect with it but you helped me.🌼 Recently justice is coming every tarrot reading I see even when I did readings for myself it was coming often that it made me think what is going on.🌼 You made it very clear to me. Thank you so much🥰🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌼
Wow! This is so helpful. No,wonder the justice, card kept coming to until i decided to work on,my sexual trauma again as it boiled over for the umpteenth time. This is literally my first sexual experience. Just at the right time. Thank you. This is super helpful. I feel and felt unbiased. Mh,most used word,as a,child. Now it makes sense why this woman showed me thise bronze, scales, when,i was 11 had me hold them and said i would be ok and im protected,by me and, angels. Thank you. I was trying to figure, out why i was so cold alot of times to this experience. Jealous. Angry. Sometimes sad. Felt used. Only wanted one there. Not two. Why my special power became unbiased instead of fun. How i became contained and liar while holding as much truth as possible. Thank you. This is helpful. Thank you for sharing your dream.
what does “polarity” mean in your discussion? Do you think that a person can only be on one of two sides? I understand the concept of not being able to see past one’s own perspective, but you also prescribe that this card directs someone to try to do that. Seeing things from all sides is not the same as seeing above it. Experiencing something from all sides is not the same as making a judgment about it. What is a “fair” position then? I guess if the advice is just to try to do it, to get out of your emotional state, then that is something I guess someone can do. I know also that rationality and logic can mean something different than “Truth”. I’m not sure if you mean that when you say that Justice is “cool rationality” but it seems that way – the rationality of thoughts, but I’m not sure because you talk about just rising above one’s own emotions, but since you also talk about focusing on facts and that commonly means what is “objective”. Justice card meaning for me: I have not studied tarot formally but I have watched a lot of articles, and it seems like when that card comes out it seems to have answers similar to wheel of fortune or the chariot to me, something like a confirmation of a decision or something coming to its somewhat inevitable end – so in that sense it’s like what the facts are leading to (which is a different sort of logic). But I didn’t think that that was the textbook version of it and so I keep perusal articles. I am planning to watch more of yours. I’ve also been curious to see what words are put to the High Priestess as well.
