In this video, we discuss the Quick Cast feature in League of Legends, which allows players to cast spells with a single button press. Summoner spells can be used in-game to aid a player’s champion in various ways, with each spell having a unique effect. Some summoner spells increase in effectiveness relative to the champion’s level, while others can only be used with spells that can be used on allies. The default command for summoner spells is ‘alt’ + Q/W/E/R.
The original summoner spells continue cooling down in the background while swapped out, and the swap cooldown is static. Players can change Summoner Spells during a game with the Unsealed Spellbook rune with Inspiration as the keystone. This equipped rune allows players to swap Summoner Spells while outside of combat.
Summoner spells can make or break a champion and their laning phase. Players can change them before the game starts during the champion select screen, next to runes and wards. While out-of-combat, players can swap one of their equipped summoner spells to a new, single-use summoner spell.
Swapping a Summoner Spell to a different one can be done by exchanging 3 Summoner Shards at the shop, which also grants 15 Summoner Spell cooldown reduction. The endpoints for changing summoner spells and rune pages are not provided.
