How Can Spells Be Cast In The Elder Ring?

In Elden Ring, players need a catalyst and an equipped spell to cast spells and incantations. A catalyst is an armament used for casting spells and incantations, while sorceries require a staff in either hand. To cast sorceries, players must memorize a spell at a Site of Grace and select their spell with D-PAD UP.

For incantations, players need to find a Sacred Seal and meet the spell’s equip requirements. They can cast a few spells at a time to swap between while exploring and fighting.
