Divine Soul Sorcerers are a unique subclass of DnD 5e that offers a vast array of spells, races, feats, backgrounds, and ability scores. They can start with only converted cleric spells, including 4 cantrips and 2 level 1 spells. Divine Magic allows access to the cleric spell list, offering many of the best divine spells, healing options, support options, and fantastic divinations.
The Divine Soul Sorcerer becomes particularly powerful healers at level 6. When you roll to determine how many hit points a healing spell restores, you can choose from either the Sorcerer spell list or the Cleric spell list. Any Cleric spells you choose to learn become Sorcerer spells for you and use.
However, Divine Soul Sorcerers only get a single spell, in comparison to other Sorcerer subclasses. The new subclass features equal the power of Divine Soul, but it’s hard to overcome the massive advantage inherent in nearly every aspect of the class.
One of the most flexible Sorcerer subclasses is the Divine Soul Sorcerer, which can choose from almost twice as many spells as any other Sorcerer out there. This allows the class to build a ridiculous amount of build. However, there is no way to replace the spell gained from your divine magic alignment.
In addition to the cleric spells, Divine Soul Sorcerers can also learn a few extra spells from the Cleric spell list and swap out one of their known spells when they gain a level. The limited spell slots at this level make it crucial to be careful about when and what to use them on.
