My family and I was at Disney, the most recent time, in July 2023, and we stayed at the Polynesian. My wife mentioned staying at ASM for one night before we flew home. Tbw, even though we liked the theme of the Poly and the convenience to Magic Kingdom, we liked ASM better. We like the Murphy beds, and we really liked the pool. I didn’t realize there were two pools there. The food court is better than the Poly’s dining options, and we loved the statues around the property. Even though we only stayed for one night, I’d say ASM is one of my favorite resorts. We’re planning on coming back the last of October, first of November 2024, and are planning to stay at ASM. I can’t wait! Thank you for your article!
This is a fun and deceptively simple website (They make it very understandable and relatable) and Jennifer is the female version of Bob Ross when she talks. Her voice is so soothing and relaxing you sort of just drift off as she speaks. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and to be honest, I was never much of a Disney fan. But I have been to Disneyland when I was about 10. And was underwhelmed by it. But when my younger daughter moved to Florida and planned her wedding down there(Covid messed all that up) my older daughter had I planned a trip to Disney World around the wedding. The wedding was canceled and eventually moved to NY. But we went to Disney anyway as it was all paid for. Both daughters had been there numerous times with various Aunts so I was the only first timer. What a fool I have been all these years. Between Disney and Universal, it was the best vacation of my life! Even Magic Kingdom, my least favorite park, (Still not a huge Disney fan, LOL)was fun and enjoyable for me. We went during Covid in February the day before Tom Brady won his last super bowl, so the park was not that crowded but still a lot of people. We stayed in the Pop Century resort because when we booked I wasn’t all that thrilled to go and didn’t want to spend more money than I needed and figured we would not be in the room much anyway. Can’t wait to watch your review of that resort to see if you felt the same. The room ended up being fine except it had the feeling of an mid class motel rather than a hotel room.
Great reviews Thankyou! I am choosing between Pop and All Star movies for a short stay . Was thinking Pop for Skyliner but I like the ASM theming better. Which did you prefer? Would you say the ASM grounds are greener? It looks to have more trees ? I am used to staying at Deluxe for fam hols but as this is a solo pre-work trip stay budget is best, but which one? Looking forward to perusal all your resort articles ❤
