Magic Kingdom’S Star Wars Galaxy Edge?

I had an amazing moment while at the WDI preview of Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios We were talking to a couple of Batuu civilians outside the cantina, having an in-character discussion about Black Spire Outpost and the First Order’s influence on it. I wandered off a few yards to the left, and I saw a couple of Stormtroopers walking toward us. I ran back to the civilians Mom and Dad were talking to and warned them of “bucketheads” incoming. They hid behind us, and we shielded them while we sweet-talked the troopers and assured them that everything was alright. It was pure Star Wars, and I’ll never forget it.

I think I like the faded Disney land colors because it makes the world look older. I’m going in September to Hollywood studios. Very hard to get reservations for all the things in there. I barely got oga cantina. Very lucky. All I can say is check back often through the day. We got one reservation when we checked at 7am and another at 8pm. One was for a Sunday at 8:20 and the other was Monday at 8:40 for 2 people. We took the Monday one bc it would’ve interfered with universal Halloween horror night reservations on Sunday

When I went to Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland California for the first time last month, I remembered there were differences because of this article, but couldn’t remember what they were. I’m already planning a Disney World trip for November, so when I go to Galaxy’s Edge there, I’ll remember these details

I am new to this website, so I have a few questions. Do you make these compare and contrast articles with other Disney park lands? If so, do you do the other Disney parks in Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, and Shanghai? If so, will you make one of these articles again when the Walt Disney Studios Park version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens up in later years? Finally, do you have any comparison articles of the Disney Cruise Line ships?

As a fan of Roller Coasters, I’m admittedly more interested and excited about the Gwazi redo going on about an hour thirty away, as I’ve never been on a coaster by the people who are doing the revamp, and, I’ve heard they’ve never made a bad coaster. However, that doesn’t mean that I think this land will be bad. I’m still looking forward to it, in fact!

I visited Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios during the passholder event. It was really cool and the ride on the Falcon was nice as well. I’m looking forward to their opening the second attraction because that one looks awesome. I’m going back in a couple of months and will be there as well once the Resistance ride opens. 🙂

I just went to galaxy’s edge in WDW today. And Ou my gosh I was blown away. I didn’t know what to look at first. I loved the cool mountains. I was telling all the types of ship to my mom and dad. They thought I was being dramatic. They said ‘ it’s not that good ‘ I rolled my eyes and said ‘ Well YOUR not a Star Wars fan soooo ‘. I couldn’t believe it and we sort of left quickly so I didn’t get to properly take it in but still I got the blue milk and the ride so I was good. I’m going back soon so I’ll take it in more 👍 GALAXYS EDGE RULES.

Like the DL version better. I have been to the California park in early July. Too expensive, a lot to buy, but not a lot to do. A lot $$$ to get in, then A LOT $$$ to spend for the whole experience? Kids were bored in an hour. Headed back into ‘traditional’ Disneyland, and it was fun for a visit. But once you see it, you’ve seen it, and will stick with the the rest of the park.

I went this summer and it was amazing! I prefer the colors/atmosphere of California though. I don’t understand why Florida has to RUIN everything with these 6 month reservation things. Why on earth would I have any clue what time I’m going to feel like a cocktail break at the Cantina 6 months from now? East coasters keep ruining spontaneity and it’s annoying AF.

I went there with my mom on a Tuesday because Cast members can go there it was so cool they said that I only can rid them once we rode it at least 15 to 20 times they don’t stop you from ridding more the one time we ate all the food at the restaurant and I can’t even say the prices at the shops and it’s supposed to be lower for Cast members I can’t even imagine the price after the drop.

Stop with the fan boy stalking of all things Disneyland. It’s totally OK not to like something they’ve done. Galaxy’s Edge is almost totally crap. Let me share an example. My grandfather was a Super on the Matterhorn and it’s one of the least smooth rides in all the parks… Guess what I don’t love my Grandfather any less… You seem pretty smart, this logic I am sure is clear as day. Great content outside of this one…

I kinda hate Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge now because they wouldn’t let me and my family go on Rise of the Resistance for no real reason we were on the right time to go on it and they wouldn’t ever let me go on it now I have to wait to go on it until maybe 2023 or 2024 now and this haunts me to this day and also Millennium Falcon Snuggle’s Run is so confusing to when your touch which button to shoot and move the vehicle and that is why I hate Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and now I’m never going to go on a trackless ride like Rise of the Resistance now I have to wait for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway to open in 2023

Called Disney August 9th to ask if they were going to do reservations for savis and droid Depot. They said they weren’t going to do reservations. Obviously that information was wrong. Called back when I found out, and they didn’t know they had reservations!!! That was a colossal mistake from the higher ups, the employees should be kept up to date. I managed to get reservations for both #blessed. Hopefully they will get it together on the misinformation!!

Disney really needs to get some actual fans involved in building this park -.- I certainly wouldn’t go to a Star Wars Park just to buy dolls and popcorn. I can think of so many things to improve it. So many planets/sites that can be simulated. A Kashyyyk jungle gym, Forest moon of Endor Ewok bbq, A gungan underwater city, a Spa with romantic lagoon w/ waterfalls on Naboo, breakfast at Dex’s diner, some fun nightlife on coruscant. A street market/bazaar from Lothal with animatronic Loth cats hissing at you, Jedi training on dagobah, an interactive tour of the Jedi archives, For the lightsaber building, you shouldn’t just choose your kyber crystal you should have to go on an adventure to find it for Over $200 I would want a more interactive experience than screwing a few pieces together. There’s so much potential to make galaxys edge a dream vacation destination and it’s squandered away on popcorn and merchandise.

My plan is to show up to Galaxy’s Edge (probably the one in Florida) in a custom cosplay suit of Kamen Rider Gamma. Now, those of you who are, like me, major Kamen Rider fans will know that Kamen Rider Gamma is a Smart Brain Rider who only appeared once: in Kamen Rider Battle Stage: Faiz vs. Delta in November of 2003 (although the suit appeared again in Kamen Rider 555 & Delta vs. AbareRed in 2004 under the name “Kamen Rider Zeta”). If you know that, then you’ll also know that very little is actually known about any of the stageshow-exclusive Riders, to the point that they don’t even have official armament arsenals. Well, that’s where the fanon fills in for the canon. And by “fanon” I mean my Kamen Rider Gamma concept for my under-construction Kamen Rider self-insert fanfic. In the fic, the Gamma Gear (Temporary Serial Number: SB-003; Active Serial Number: SB-777) was the third prototype Rider Gear created by SmartBrain (after SB-001/SB-444 Alpha and SB-002/SB-888 Beta), designed as a prototype for what would become the grasshopper-themed Kaixa Gear (SB-913) intended for the Arch Orphnoch. As such, the two sidearms will be the Blaster/Edge-type Multi-Weapon SB-777E Gamma Gunblade (a repainted SB-913X Kaixa Blaygun with one or both short arms removed) and the Multi-Digital Camera SB-777C Gamma Shot (functionally identical to the ones carried by Faiz & Kaixa). There will be no separate Pointer device, as the Gunblade will serve that purpose (Mission Memory in Phone = Rider Kick-type Exceed Charge; Mission Memory in Gunblade = Edge Slash-type Exceed Charge).

I wish these places weren’t such a money grab. Star wars for many children, including myself, was my childhood. My everything. I dreamed about it almost every night. Companies like EA see these children’s passions as targets for extortion. I wish they employed interactive stay-in-character actors that truly made people feel they were in a galaxy far far away. Rather it’s more like, “hey you like this franchise? Buy this mug for $300”.
