The first quake spell you use will deal 17 of its MAX hp, while the remaining hp is dealt by the remaining hp. To destroy an Air defense, you need to use 4 Lightning Spells if you have your own Lightning Spells or 3 with a donated max Lightning spell. To calculate the number of Lighting/Earthquake Spells needed for each level of defense from Town Hall 1 to Town Hall 16, use the ZapQuake form.
To destroy an Air Sweeper, you need four Lightning Spells if they are level 5 or higher, three if they are level 7 or higher, and only two if they are level 5 or higher. For attacking, always look for the face of the Air Sweeper first to choose the best side to attack. Rage Spell may be used for boosting your air troops.
To destroy a Level 7 Air Sweeper, you need 2 Lightning + 1 earthquake (destroy first AD) and 2 Lightning + 1 full lava (destroy second AD). If both ADs are close to each other, using 4 lightning spells can destroy both. A Level 1 Air Sweeper can be destroyed by 2 level 4 or higher Lightning Spells or 3 Lightning Spells of level 3 and below.
For a Level 7 Air Sweeper, you need at least 2 level 6 lightning spells and a earthquake to destroy it. You can destroy an Air Sweeper of level 7 with 4 lightning spells or less given that the level of lightning spell is above Level 5.

How many Lightning Spells does it take to destroy an air defense?
An efficacious strategy for acquiring trophies entails the utilization of Lightning Spells to neutralize an Air Defense mechanism, subsequently facilitating the deployment of Dragons. The defeat of any level of air defense requires a minimum of three Lightning Spells, with higher-level defenses necessitating a greater number. For further statistical data, please refer to the Unit Calculators page. For further information, please consult the ZapQuake BIBLE and the How To Queen Zap tutorials.
How much damage does a level 8 lightning spell do?
The Lightning Spell is the first Elixir spell unlocked in the Spell Factory, which is automatically unlocked once the Town Hall is at level 5. It damages buildings and enemy troops within a small radius, except for resource storages, the Town Hall, and the Clan Castle. If a defensive building or troop is struck by the bolt, it is briefly stunned and retargeted. When combined with the Earthquake Spell, Lightning Spells can be used to destroy high hitpoint buildings like Eagle Artillery or Scattershot. However, this is often not worth the investment unless at least two buildings are destroyed or other value is gained, such as defeating the enemy Archer Queen simultaneously.
How many earthquakes to destroy air defense?
The expansive radius of the earthquake allows for the deployment of four lightning spells and one earthquake spell, which can be utilized to neutralize two air defenses, contingent upon their proximity and the suitability of the spells. This strategy allows for the conservation of one spell space for the deployment of poison or haste spells.
How many lightning to take out Eagle artillery?
The Eagle Artillery, a level 2 defense, can be destroyed by 6 level 8 Lightning Spells and 1 level 5 Earthquake Spell. It is commonly used in Zap Lalo or Hybrid armies and can be destroyed by placing all troops in one area. To defend the Eagle Artillery, place it in a location with a covered blind spot, like a Mortar, and centralize it to prevent easy access. In an anti-three-star base, centralizing the Eagle Artillery is more important than protecting the Town Hall. Keep it away from other important defenses, such as the enemy Queen and Clan Castle, as this can allow for easy value.
The Eagle Artillery is best supported by an Air Defense, as it destroys air troops while picking off ground troops. For extra support, a Wizard Tower can be placed to cover the blind spot. Offset the Eagle Artillery to keep firing while troops are in the core, as many troops tend to be clumped in the core. Keep the Eagle Artillery separated from other main defenses, such as Scattershots and Inferno Towers, to prevent attackers from using Zapquake or Overgrowth Spells.
Stun the Eagle Artillery before firing to force it more time to fire. When paired with a Rage Spell Tower, the Eagle Artillery is too powerful, so it is advised to destroy it as soon as possible to prevent further damage to the army.
Does Air Sweeper affect battle blimp?
The Battle Blimp is a strategic plan for a clan’s defense strategy. It is important to strategically place air defenses to cover the blimp’s paths to the Town Hall, but also consider other anti-air defenses like Archer Towers and X-Bows. A single-target Inferno Tower can easily destroy the blimp if it is pathed in a way that separates it from the rest of the troops. Multiple Seeking Air Mines can stop the blimp from reaching the Town Hall, but this is less effective if an air attack is used.
An Air Sweeper or Tornado Trap can stall the blimp long enough for other defenses to finish it off before it reaches the Town Hall. The blimp is often well-covered en route to reaching its target, especially if Clan Castle troops are required for a critical objective. If defeating the blimp is not feasible, traps like Giant Bombs, regular Bombs placed in groups, or Spring Traps can be used to destroy these reinforcements before they can do significant damage.
Is the Earthquake Spell better than lightning?
Earthquake Spells are more effective than Lightning Spells against walls, making them useful for ground attacks. They damage structures based on their maximum hitpoints, and repeated Earthquakes deal decreasing damage to the same buildings but increasing damage to the same walls. No wall can withstand the might of four Earthquake Spells. Earthquake Spells cannot damage resource storages but can damage resource collectors. However, they can damage Town Hall and Clan Castle, as they do not leak resources when damaged.
This pattern continues regardless of the level of Earthquake Spells, so the damage done depends on the order they are dropped in. To maximize damage, one should drop their highest-level Earthquake Spells first.
How do you destroy an Air Sweeper?
The Air Sweeper is a defense mechanism that can only cover a certain angle and push troops back a certain distance. It is particularly effective against slow air troops like Balloons, as they take a long time to return to the targeted building. To counter this, a Rage Spell can be used temporarily. Level 1 Air Sweepers can be destroyed by 2 or 3 Lightning Spells of any level, while maximum-level ones can be destroyed by 3 or higher. Additionally, the Air Sweeper can be distracted by Dragons, Healers, or Minions, allowing for further destruction.
How much damage does a level 7 Lightning Spell do?
How many Lightning Spells to destroy Archer Queen?
The Lightning Spell is the first Elixir spell unlocked in the Spell Factory, which can take out all enemy air defenses and X-Bows, rendering them nearly defenseless. It is used to stun buildings and units within a small area, except for resource storages, the Town Hall, and the Clan Castle. If a defensive building or troop is struck by the bolt, it is briefly stunned and retargeted. When combined with the Earthquake Spell, Lightning Spells can be used to destroy high hitpoint buildings like Eagle Artillery or Scattershot directly. However, this is often not worth it unless at least two buildings are destroyed or otherwise valuable, such as defeating the enemy Archer Queen simultaneously.
How many Lightning Spells to destroy the Inferno Tower?
The Inferno Tower is a powerful defensive structure that can be a significant threat to heavy troops and light units. It can be destroyed by a combination of Lightning Spells and a group of Minions, especially if it is behind multiple walls and defenses. Small troops are stronger against the Inferno Tower in single-target mode, as it must heat up again every time it targets a new troop. Golems can be destroyed quickly, but if surrounded by Archers or Barbarians, it can be defeated quickly.
In single-target mode, it can only target one unit at a time, making it an easy target for attacking units. The Inferno Tower’s top can indicate whether it is in single or multiple target mode. A loaded tower glows with lava and flame, while an empty one is unlit, black stone. It takes 2 maxed Lightning Spells and one maxed Earthquake Spell to take down an initial level Inferno Tower. The Grand Warden’s Eternal Tome allows all troops in his range to be healed, preventing the loss of troops for a short amount of time.
How many lightning to destroy an Air Sweeper?
The Air Sweeper is a defense that fires strong air blasts at air troops, causing them to be pushed back by other defenses. It is unlocked at Town Hall level 6 and can only face one direction, making it difficult to interfere with ground troops. Upgrading Air Sweepers increases knockback distance and HP, but it cannot interfere with ground troops. The Air Sweeper can be rotated 45 degrees at a time, allowing it to have 8 directional settings.
However, if another air troop is within range, the air burst can still hit troops in the blind spot, so be cautious. The Defense Levels for Air Sweepers range from 5 to 9 and can be destroyed with four Lightning Spells.

One thing to keep in mind is IF there is a builder hut in the area and you go slow with your spells it will repair the buildings faster than the spells will destroy. Also I bought a flinger from Steve and took it to the market yesterday (I must have been nuts but it only cost a load of nuts) when I parked I accidentally parked next to an Eagle and when I got out was hit by an EQ and lightning!!!! Was it your neighbor?!?!
