To troubleshoot a Magic Chef RV oven, follow these steps:
Bake: Push and turn the knob to pass the oven pilot on with flame (match) next to the pilot assembly on the oven burner. The pilot should lite in a couple of minutes.
Set the oven’s temperature to “Off”, remove the stove’s oven control knob, and push in on the metal control rod while holding a lighter.
Light the oven for baking by pushing in the temperature control knob, holding it for three seconds, and then releasing it. The igniter will continue to spark. If the oven doesn’t have power, check for a tripped circuit breaker or blown fuses and correct as needed.
Loose or burned wire connection: Turn the oven control knob to LIGHT (first position on the oven temp knob) and press in and hold. Turn the first knob/piezo ignitor while holding in the oven.
