The series was successful for the network, and Conrad described the lifestyle it imposed on her as being “definitely a different way to grow up”.
After graduating from high school in 2004, Conrad attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for one semester, where she met Heidi Montag. After leaving the series after the second season, she moved back home and transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. 📹 Alexis Phifer and Kanye West’s Almost Marriage: Inside Their Engagement & Split |BFTV
Where pop culture & Black women meet. INTRO SONG: https://youtu.be/xrfIF8SB5a8 INSTAGRAM: …
I think they should open this up to the public, not just students. In fact this could be reality show, like American Idol. Tryouts all over the world. Charge them $50.00 each. In fact, there are a whole bunch of real Leprechauns in Couty Mayo who might give it a try, but then you would have to play all your games there.
Alexis was an all-around black girl. Fly, intelligent and beautiful. Perfect compliment to Kanye’s eccentric personality & eclectic taste. When people were calling him weirdo and lame. She was a muse. Allowing him to explore more textures in his Neo-Soul, Soul Beat Hip-Hop era. Along with his first waive of design and editorial fashion. The Kardashian stuff, imo, is mainly ritualistic and demonic Hollywood stuff. But his time with Alexis was real.
In my mind, I think he still holds a special spot for her. He never speaks abt her with ill will or name drops her in rants like he did Amber or Kim. & vice versa. Alexa doesn’t speak ill abt him even when the whole world kicks his back in for whatever he said or did at the time. She doesn’t jump on the bandwagon like some of the pple we thought were his long-time friends
After he parted ways with Alex and lost his mother he was never the same after that. I noticed during the early years of his career his mental state was in good shape and he dated beautiful and accomplished Black women. His mother’s death really took a toll on his mental health and he declined and was never the same.
Brava to you, for opening discussion regarding Alexis Phifer! She IS to be credited with sharpening KW’s eye beyond Ralph Lauren, LV, and other more popular/widely known designers. I wish I could recall the year & interview in which he stated her affect on his style! Alexis has always been demure, elegant, mysterious, possessing an undercurrent that’s potently electric once wielded! I wish her, continued success and to you, as well.
🤷🏻♀️She’s gives classy grounded, stable and Presidents wife. Everyone he’s dated or married after her all gave the same thing. Smutted there way to the top and let him control them with no cap to his delusions. That music article of kim holding the kid’s on them rock’s was nuts and his new muse is as ditzy as amber rose. His kid’s act just like him, good luck kim😂🤣😭
This is a valid reason why I hate stan culture. Bc how in good consciousness do you blame a woman for “leaving” your fave at their lowest and you as the artist KNOW that’s not what happened? She was probably the best thing that happened to him relationship wise, and he ruined it bc she reminded him of his mother in terms of being around when his mother is now gone. I pray Alexis is living her best life.
Please wait a minute; let me make sure I understand this correctly: Kim was not only around when Kanye was in a relationship with Amber but also when he was with Alexis and during his engagement with her. Based on the pictures of Kim and Alexis together, it seems Kim was friendly and respectful towards Alexis then. However, little did Alexis know that Kim may have been secretly envious of her relationship with Kanye and may have been waiting for the day when she could be with him and have certain things within the relationship. But as the old saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for or think you can change from someone else’s previous relationship.”
this is just another proven fact the guys always go for the hoes instead of the down to earth wholesome girl its like they think the grass is always greener on the other side only to realize in the end that its not all rainbows and sunshine🙄 sucks to be him now I know Alexis glad she dodged that bullet and let amber and kim get hit with it instead good for her
Alexis should have married him and got the bag and boosted her business. She could have ended up the top female fashion designer and branched into other categories like makeup, fragrances and vitamins. Instead, all that clout and opportunity went to Kim Kartrashian and her goofy plastic sisters. Hell even Amber got her own tv show out of that relationship.
