The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is a white supremacist, far-right terrorist organization that has been involved in numerous violent incidents. Its recruitment of members is the responsibility of “Kleagles”, who are organizers or recruiters appointed by an imperial wizard or representative to “sex” the KKK among non-members. These members were paid $200 per hour by the organization.
The Klan provided a sense of superiority particularly for lower-class whites and required members to be Caucasian, native-born, and Protestant. In the 1920s, the KKK was a “great fraternal lodge” with nationwide political power. While men made up the majority of Klan members, women “poured into” the group. A second group, active in the Midlothian area, is affiliated with the National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and has fewer than 10 members. The third group is the “KKK”.
The KKK began terrorizing Catholic immigrants in the name of Prohibition 100 years ago. At first, joining the KKK meant signing up for a fiddle group. On an evening in May 1866, young men in Pulaski, Tennessee, met in a meeting. The KKK is a native-born American racist terrorist organization that helped overthrow Republican Reconstruction governments in the South after the Civil War.
The KKK’s recruitment process involves both push and pull factors, as competition translated into a sense of racial threat and related anxieties spread. The KKK continues to decline in 2023, coupled with efforts by certain factions to rebrand and reinvent themselves.

There is a x-ray of Rembrandt’s painting. You should look for it, as it reveals more details about the work. The man in the painting was a thief that already had his hand cut off. He was hung for stealing a second time. Rembrandt chose not to keep the stump after the preliminary sketches, so he covered it with a normal arm.
Instead of being cremated, I would be plenty happy to become a “Bodies” display. After I die naturally, of course! Your identity is not revealed, but you can still be a vessel for learning. If I die of cancer, cut me up and try to find out why. Like, I’ll know the difference. 😱🤣 Be a teacher. Even if you’re not a teacher.
Two things- 1) I knew for some time that Victorians were into strange things, but binding books with human leather really takes the cake; I saw the Body Worlds exhibit when it came to Oklahoma City, whilst in nursing school. My school arranged the trip as part of our anatomy class. It was.. interesting to say the least.
I wonder if one could build a contraption to stretch ones own skin over a certain period of time, to obtain (and surgically remove) enough “excess skin” to bind a book with mentioned skin? So one would be able to have a book around which is bound with the skin of a living person. I also wonder if there isnt allready something like that around, maybe made by an artist or a simillar wacko. Maybe some very fat person allready donated skin for such an undertaking, who knows (I will search the web later)? btw.:If one of the readers happens to be an artist, who would like, for what reason ever, to bind a book with their skin, I would be quite happy if you could mention me as source of inspiration.
