It’s not French but Mediterranean there where you encounter special Neolithic stones:, Corsican, Bosnia- Hercegovina and Siria, it’s nr1 healing essential oil and considered to be 1 sacred flower. It’s also rated top 10 flowers the pharma Industry doesn’t want to talk about.Im investigating this flower for more than 20 years now and there are so many good things to say about Helichrysum Italicum. It’s a pitty this new generation of consumer-humans believe everything that smells nice comes out of France, it is absolutely not true. France has a deteriorated soil and buys its oil in the Balkans and markets it as French, but it is not Italicum though, because it doesn’t contain the medicinal components like A-pine, Neryl Acetate, italiene, siliene etc. If you want to try the best quality go for the organic immortelle oil from Hercegovina where most Neolithic stones appear. There is also no air, water and light pollution in this region. I have heard the locals from Hercegovina will launche a NEW essential oil line including 9 most powerful medicinal essential oils and a skin-care line up. Thanks for sharing your article
Helichrysum Oil – Two Questions: 1) Can I put it in my ear? And 2) Are there a few brands you recommend? I lost full hearing in one ear as a child after getting my “wellness check” vacc inn es at 7yrs old. I started taking piano lessons as a child at 5yrs old and I could play extremely well by ear even at that age. This has affected me all my life, and especially in music (as well as situations where there are lots of noises and I need to define certain ones for some reason – case in point, a busy street corner in Chicago where my safety is at risk in several ways). I would give the world to regain my hearing in that ear if at all possible. Two Questions: 1) Can I put it in my ear? And 2) Are there a few brands you recommend? (I cannot afford Doterra or Young Living. I’m already living penny to penny, but I will do Doordash to afford a decently priced Heli oil if there’s the chance it might help me regain my hearing.)
goondmorning!I have actually found you recently and I have learned so much from your articles. I have not commented though before so firstly I want to thank you :). I have a question. I have very sensitive acne prone skin, I have been managing it well with oils lately, jojoba in particular or coconut occasionally. Although my skin looks so clean and bright I still find I have bumps of clogged pores, but they are not black heads. Im wandering what I can do to get rid of those? thank you 🙂
I am a distributor for Young Living Essential Oils and I couldn’t agree with you more on the uber wonderfulness of helichrysum oil, Leda. The bit about its cost is also right on the money….pardon the pun, but hey we are worth it right? If we stop and think about the money we can throw down annually for coffee on the run, this pales in comparison. Thanks for sharing it. Victoria Greenroyd

On your coconut oil. Because it “says” Perfect doesn’t mean that it is. because it has coconut debris in it, doesn’t mean it is perfect either. Nor of the best quality. The “higher quality” coconut oil that has the higher benefits is COLD processed and not HOT processed. The beneficial factors that give all of the benefits you hear about are “lost” when they are cooked out through hot processing. MOST coconut oils are hot processed. It takes a LOT of homework to find a coconut oil that is actually cold processed. I could point out few but am not going to taint the reality of what I am telling you by at the same time providing what could be confused to be a direct conflict of interest.
I would recommend in a later post or something go over the DIFFERING Species of Helichrysum since the terpenes are very different in each and if we are talking something as specific as nerve pain … The flower that you are using is not the right flower for people with nerve pain nor does it appear that the one store Mountain whatever doesn’t have say Helichrysum Italicum (what I was looking for) it has arenarum and the Starwest or whatever again only has the Helichrysum stoechas. I knew I’d heard you give a couple of places so I cam to see about them and just wanted to make the comment since despite the fact that a lot of places are dumping ALL the attributes of each Species together Helichrysum (as you know) is the Genus and each species has distinct medicinal uses or in this case someone with nerve pain should be directed toward the Species h. italicum. Most of the various Helichrysum species are rather useless such as Helichrysum thianschanicum for example which is readily available and can be found in many a person’s well-manicured lawns in the US! I did point out this plant was useless right? So none of your fans go out and rob anyone’s front lawns…
