In Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, players can choose the target of a spell using the Arte button and the D-pad. The character info at the bottom of the screen indicates that the spell will be used on them. Players can choose who to heal by hitting left or right on the joystick, as long as they do it within the specified timeframe.
Estelle, a healer in the game, has an indicator that shows that she will use the spell on them. Intermediate spells like Splash gain a slightly larger effect area every 100 uses, maxing at approximately twice its original size with 1000 uses. Spiral Flare is another intermediate spell that gains a slightly larger effect area every 100 uses.
The game also offers intermediate spells like Jump Cancel, which allows players to do extensive combos and override the normal Base > Altered > Arcane limitation at times. Base Artes are normal attacks/spells used with the A button, while Arcane Artes are also normal and used with the A button. Altered Artes are a new version of base or base artes.
To heal allies in Tales of Vesperia, players can select the healing spell or item, then press the D-Pad to choose which party member to target. Estelle’s healing is so effective that unless she’s the only one with healing effects, the rest of the characters can also solo.
Healing Artes are a skill that Estelle learns in Tales of Vesperia, which can occasionally cast healing spells without consuming any TP. To manually tell her to cast healing spells, players can turn off the first aid feature and set nurse as a shortcut artes on the gamepad.
In summary, the Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition offers a comprehensive guide for players to learn and master the artes and heal allies in the game.

📹 Tales of Vesperia auto farm guide! Get Grade, EXP, Gald, Fell Arm power and more while you sleep!
Here you’ll learn how to set up auto farming in Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition, as the infinite Force Field glitch has been …
You can modify this, instead of letting other 3 members use the LB let Rita use LB while other finish them off. Dont set ritas command to Stay Away she will run around like crazy and will not cast a spell. Change Flynn with Estelle for better survivability. Auto cast Revive and angel ring to zone out enemies in order for Rita to cast tidal wave.
Just did this last night, for XP farming, worked perfectly, left it for about 12 hours and came back to 11 million XP. Did it on normal difficulty with Yuri, Rita, Flynn and Raven with Raven and Flynn set to heal, started out with an average lvl of 80 and finished with everyone lvl 155, worked better than I expected. My max combo was far from the one in this article with a max of 98 but I was getting that number quite often thanks to Rita’s Tidal Wave and her Burst Arte. So thanks a lot for this article (that I found by chance through youtube suggestion while looking for something completely different because it didn’t come up when I was looking for farming techniques) it was a great help, I really wasn’t looking forward to manually spamming Lightning Dog for hours.
I tried this on the PC version and it crashed in about 6-7 hours, even on lower settings. I guess the safest way is to only run this auto-grind trick for 1-2 hours before killing Brutal and saving progress. It takes a few inn stays in Mantaic to respawn Brutal, but it’s worth it to minimize progress loss.
I just tried this last night and did it exactly as specified but with Yuri, Rita, Estelle and Flynn. Unfortunately I woke up and everyone was dead. I only set Estelle to healing though.. I did notice before I went to bed that Estelle was taking a bit of extra damage over everyone else and not healing very fast. What do you think I should do?
I’d go with Flynn, Estelle, Karol, and Patty, equip them with Paralysis Charms, Minimum Damage weapons, and armor with the highest defense in Arc 2 for them, Happiness 1-3, and Kids’ Society for Patty since it takes effect with her and Karol in the group, while the reserve members have EXP Share active.
Great vid, I guess it would be most useful for Arte Usages specifically (at end game), but I did everything manually until completion. Everything other than Arte Usages aren’t too bad of a manual farm if you don’t need bots. EDIT: And btw, IF you’re doing this you DON’T need somebody to spend your precious TP items, just have Yuri, and nobody else, spread one OVL bar to your characters (use only strike artes setting to keep them nearby). OVL sometimes heals TP to full AND speeds up this entire process by spamming Artes, so the guides don’t know everything like me :P. Combined with the FS TP heal it stays up like forever. Also you can give Yuri the Final Symbol to expose FS for them (to get TP) and turn off only Yuri’s FS aim if his Abyssion/usage is maxed. Krona’s Symbol is the best, since they stun, but either that or Paralysis works.
How do I get Rita’s Death Contrast +2β for her FS Bonus 2 skill. Only one I’m missing for this trick. Apparently everything was going fine for the first hour perusal to make sure everything was OK. Went to bed and woke up to a dead party. I don’t know what happened, but it sucks and this was on Normal. Maybe a recommended level on top of this too? I got the strongest armor I have available, but it seems like certain items I can’t craft yet.
Questions. 1.) My party is mid 70s ish. DO I need to be lv 100 as in the vid or am I good enough? 2.) I already defeated brutal. Will the brutal in the labyrinth of memories work, or the one infront of deidon hold is preferred? 3.) Does brutal respawn if you already killed it earlier while doing the giant monster quest? and if so, how often or how do I get him to?
I have several questions that I would like answered asap: 1. Would it work if your at level 54 or 55? 2. Are the characters shown in the article the best ones to use? or can you use any of them as long as they have the necessary Skills? 3. Will you absolutely need the Fell Arms for this? 4. For Rita, do you have to have Title Wave? 5. What do I need to do to turn on the art changing skills and arts that change into altered arts? I’m not sure if there are other questions I would wanna ask, but if anyone can help answer these for me as well as anything extra, I’d greatly appreciate it! (first time playing it btw)
Your Ultra farming idea people that make article game systems and the game themselves should not allow players to use such an option it’s a good way to ruin your system you’ll shorten your systems lifespan that way and on other systems you might ruin the laser function making it so you can’t play the system anymore and have to send in a roof for repairs because you made the dumb choice of using Ultra farming too many times in ruining your system and ruining its motor because systems aren’t meant to be left on all night when you’re not playing it just like a TV if you’re not paying attention to it a system should automatically turn off even if with an option that is designed where you can’t turn that option off because it is a normal natural function just like when you use up too much energy your body wants to sleep and you have no choice but to sleep because you can’t refuse it could sooner or later your body will give out and want to sleep well that option for making a system turn off automatically should happen regardless they shouldn’t make it an option you could turn off they should make it an option that turns the system off automatically when you don’t pay attention to it for too long because a lot of TVs have that option and you can’t turn it off a TV will automatically turn itself off when you leave it alone for too long some TVs don’t have the ability to turn that function off it’s how they protect technology just like how your cell phone goes into something that’s like sleep mode when you leave your phone alone too long you know how it starts to turn black where it looks like it’s off but it’s not but it’s how it protects Itself by turning itself automatically off when you leave it alone for too long article game systems and TVs should automatically turn themselves off when you’ve been asleep for certain amount of time as a way of protecting itself from being ruined they automatically turning itself off when it hasn’t been paid attention to long enough most article game systems are eventually getting design where you can’t turn off the auction the system automatically turning itself off because the systems automatic turn off option can eventually will no longer be available for players to turn off because eventually companies will do it as a way of protecting the system by making it automatically turn itself off and you can’t do nothing about it because it’s how companies protect the system from stupid players that are dumb enough to leave their system out all night to do something like super farming to protect the Systems Technology from being ruined by players that are dumb enough to use such ideas by leaving their system on all night it’s a good way to protect the system because the system can only take so much heat before it shuts itself off automatically anyways or the system will stop working altogether because you left it on all night putting it through stress that it should not be going through why can’t you Gamers play a game normally in a system normally stop shortening your system’s lifespan with stupid Ultra farming that is a good way to ruin your system and when it’s warranties up it’ll also be a good way to cost yourself a fortune and put a hole in your pocket financially because you have to repair your system too much because you do too much stupid Ultra farming which is a new options the article game company should remove from the game software program so players can do that anymore so they don’t ruin their game or their system this way they’re forced to play it the normal way the good old-fashioned way the right way to play a article game system by getting rid of the option to do super or Ultra farming which is a good way to ruin your system or your game or if it your system is a CD system it’s a good way to shorten your lasers lifespan and make it so that it won’t play any disc golf because your lasers dead and it’s also a good way to put a hole in your pocket financially because your systems warranty eventually expired and you end up sending in too many times and sooner or later article game company won’t want to fix it anymore because you won’t stop doing Ultra farming or super farming what’s technically people that make the system or the game should recommend not to do because it’s not good for the game or the system because you could ruin the hardware and software making it so it doesn’t work anymore because you made it work in a way that’s not normal don’t any of you article Gamers care about your article games and systems if you do stop doing super or Ultra farming did you care about your system and your games you won’t do those options anymore ever again no matter what and no matter how desperate you are you will never pull a stupid stunt like that again because super and Ultra farming is a good way to ruin your system and the game or on Microsoft and Sony’s case it is a good way to ruin your systems laser because it could overheat it and if a laser gets too hot it’ll end up putting a hole in your disc because it’ll start acting like a real laser like in Star Trek and Star Wars putting a hole in your disc because of old have enough heat and power to do so making a typical normal harmless laser that just make sure game data be read into a laser that says who you decided to do super an ultra farming so I decided to turn into a real laser and put a hole in your disc for your stupidity because I got hot enough and warm enough to do it who acted more like a real laser like out of a laser gun or in a cartridge case it’s a good way to melt the game because the system got too hot for too long getting hot enough to melt the game software enough to make it so that they can’t play the game anymore and bye-bye cartridge cuz cartridges are technically made out of plastic and if plastic gets too hot for too long it turns into goo in the metal in the cartridge to get so warm it kick it warped and distorted making it so that it’s information can no longer be red because the heat got to it’s so much it cause the metal to be warped so much now I’ve been since such ways that the data can no longer be read because the system experienced too much heat from Super and Ultra farming too many times from an ideas it should cease to exist
