Is It Possible To Direct Spells At My Sly Minions?

Stealth is a minion ability that prevents a minion from being the target of enemy attacks, spells, and effects until they attack. It is not immune to untargeted effects and is consistent with World of Warcraft mechanics. In stealth mode, you can buff your own rogues but not target enemy rogues in stealth mode.

Spear can kill a stealthed minion, but it may not be possible to target it specifically if the card says so. In WoW, you can target friendly stealth minions because you can see them. Stealth is defined as “can’t be target by enemy spells and hero powers”. Spells with a random target, such as Consecration, can damage stealthed minions, but they still take damage from Area of Effect spells/effects and can still be hit.

The Stealth Rogue is a hyper-aggressive deck that uses stealth minions to ensure opponents are not killed off before attacking. However, stealthed minions can still be damaged by AoE attacks (such as Consecration) and passive abilities that select a random target. Conceal is a Rogue spell card that gives stealth to minions, making them untargetable by attacks and targeted spells/effects.

The latest rulebook states that minions with stealth cannot be targeted by spells or abilities from your opponents. Enemies cannot target your stealthed minions with spells and effects, and you can target your own friendly stealthed minions with spells and effects.

Spells with a random target, such as deadly shot for the hunter deal, can deal with stealth minions quite nicely. Stealth is broken for spell targetting due to lag/latency/mechanics and has inconsistent interaction with legal targets. A minion with stealth can’t be attacked or targeted by enemy minions, spells, hero powers, or battlecry until it deals damage.

Can you destroy an immune minion?

Immune minions and heroes are still susceptible to non-targeted destroy effects and “area of effect” effects, such as Equality and Twisting Nether. They cannot be targeted by enemies or damaged. Immune immunity prevents damage from combat, spells, Hero Powers, Battlecries, Deathrattles, Secrets, triggered effects, and Fatigue. It also prevents damage from both enemy and friendly sources, such as Flame Imp and Life Tap. However, effects that trigger when damage is dealt will not trigger if Immune prevents damage. Immune characters will still deal damage normally. For more information, refer to DamageAdvanced rules.

Can you destroy a minion with divine shield?

Divine Shield is a mechanic that prevents damage from the first source and “pops” when it disappears. It is an effect of a minion and an ability of a minion. A minion with Divine Shield will always start with the shield, but if it disappears, the card text remains unaffected. It does not protect a minion from being killed by destroy effects. Minions can only hold one Divine Shield at a time, but can be given another if one has previously disappeared. Divine Shield is associated with the Paladin class, but can be found on Neutral cards. It can be added to a Taunt minion for extra resilience against enemy attacks.

What is the best minion in Hearthstone?

Hearthstone Battlegrounds is a 1v1 head-to-head game mode where eight players compete against each other in a series of battles. Players recruit minions for their warband and decide on the right placement and strategy for their units to end up as the last one standing. As players become more experienced, it becomes clear that some tribes shine more than others. Quillboar, Undead, Naga, Dragons, Beasts, Murlocs, Elementals, and Mechs are some of the strongest tribes in the game.

Pirates, who lost their most powerful minion, Cap’n Hoggarr, in Season 4, have lost their ability to scale effectively. In a lobby with Pirates and Mechs, choosing Pirates in this lobby would almost be guaranteed an instant loss, as Mechs can easily outscale Pirates.

  • InfiniteMalice720 asks, “How’d you get all that arcane dust?” A few ways: 1. I’ve played in 185 arenas at the time of this writing. Past the first 100 or so, most of the packs are complete duplicates, so the average pack just disenchants for 40 dust. 2. I disenchant all gold cards (unless I don’t have a regular version), no exception. 3. Arenas frequently give dust and/or duplicate cards and/or gold cards as a reward, all of which are essentially dust. 4. I haven’t crafted any legendaries yet. All of that amounts to a lot of dust!
