Magic Ink is a groundbreaking tattoo technology developed by an assistant professor from the University of Colorado at Boulder, which allows users to change the image or design within their skin instantly and painlessly. The ink uses UV-reactive ink technology, which can disappear and reappear in different types of light. After six years of work, five methods were tested to determine the best method for removing fake or fake tattoos.
The original idea behind Magic Ink was to create a “solar freckle” that alerts the wearer to the presence of UV light on their skin. To change the design, a solid area of Magic Ink is tattooed and activated by light. The light pen allows users to choose which ink particles to activate, either drawing freehand or selecting from stencils.
Currently only available in red, Magic Ink can be turned on and off using UV light and is in the process of commercialization. Tattoo artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy explains how it works, offering temporary magic tattoos that last for two weeks. To apply, place the ink in a desired body part, peel and stick it, apply water all over, and tap.
The fruit-based REAL AF™ embedding ink makes a no-strings fling with beautiful ink simple and pain-free. Easy.ink takes just seconds to apply and lasts up to thousands of times.
