In Starfinder, various abilities, devices, and spells can restore Hit Points or increase the recovery rate of natural healing. However, these types of healing only restore Hit Points, not Stamina Points. There are only a few ways to actually restore stamina, as it interacts with stamina and resolve to drain player resources. The best healing ability in the game is the coffee break/short rest/10 minute rest, which everyone rests for 10 minutes to spend 1 resolve point and get all their stamina back.
Non-magical healing options are often feat-intensive and only work out of combat. Six packs of MK1 healing serums start cheap out of combat. Healing yourself with channeled energy is a move action, healing an ally you touch is a standard action, and healing all allies within 30 feet is a full action.
The Mystic Cure is the Starfinder equivalent to the “Heal” spell, which does mention undeads. All mystics can be good healers with the right spell selection, but the healing is unsuprisingly the same. Mystic cure restores a number of Hit Points to your target depending on the spell’s level.
Starfinder is based on Pathfinder, and Serum of Healing Mk 1 heals for 1d8 and costs 50 credits. It is the most cost-efficient out-of-combat reliable healing, but you probably won’t need as much magic or technological healing. Treat Wounds (EXPLORATION, HEALING, MANIPULATE) involves spending 10 minutes attempting to restore a spent Healing Surge to a living creature.
To create a spell effect and add the heal action, change the type from HP to SP, and drop the required dice and change the bonuses if necessary.
