Magic Spoon is a cereal brand that claims to be made of 100 real ingredients, making it typically safe during pregnancy. However, some customers have raised concerns about the cereal’s ingredients, such as fake sugars, agave, inulin, and monkfruit extract. Many breakfast cereals are fortified with essential nutrients like iron and folic acid, but Magic Spoon is not.
The cereal is not keto-friendly, has net carbs, and should be eaten with milk. It has been a favorite among pregnant women, but some have expressed concerns about its nutritional value, high fiber content, and low sugar content. Inulin, an insoluble fiber used to keep the cereals low in carbs, can lead to gastrointestinal upset and cramping in some individuals.
Magic Spoon is not a popular choice for those with IBS during pregnancy, as other blood sugar-friendly cereals made from whole foods are available. Some customers have gluten sensitivity issues, and Magic Spoon has found a way to address this issue. Overall, Magic Spoon is a good choice for those looking for a nutritious, low-sugar breakfast cereal for pregnant women.

What skincare to avoid when pregnant?
During pregnancy, it is essential to choose acne creams that do not contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acids, which are common ingredients in acne creams. Instead, opt for products that only use one of these ingredients. Essential oils, often considered a natural alternative to beauty products, are not evaluated by the FDA and do not have strict labeling standards. They come in various varieties and concentrations, making it difficult to make a general statement on their use during pregnancy.
Some essential oils have been linked to health concerns, so it is crucial to consult a doctor before using them. Hydroquinone, a common skin lightener, should be avoided due to its higher absorption rate, making it more likely to enter the bloodstream and affect the baby.
Is vibration safe for pregnancy?
Pregnant women should avoid exposure to strong whole body vibrations and blows, such as driving off-road vehicles, as it can increase the risk of premature birth or low birth weight. Whole body vibrations in passenger cars, buses, lorries, trains, planes, or boats do not pose any risk. Vibrations in hands and arms can cause vascular and neurological harm, such as white fingers, decreased sensation to touch, decreased motor skills, and numbness.
There is little research on the effects of vibrations on pregnant women and foetuses. The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority provides assistance to pregnant, recently born, or breastfeeding employees.
Which item should a pregnant woman avoid?
Pregnant women should avoid harmful foods and drinks, such as raw fish, unpasteurized dairy products, alcohol, and high mercury fish. Additionally, certain meals and drinks like coffee and sugary ones should be avoided. Consult a doctor for a balanced diet plan and avoid Indian foods during pregnancy. If you have a maternity insurance plan, you can get pre- and post-natal coverage for doctor visits. The Joy Maternity Insurance Plan by Care Health Insurance offers coverage for 30 and 60 days. Common health insurance terms should be familiarized.
Is Magic Cream safe for pregnancy?
Pregnant women should avoid using Magic Night Cream, Collagen Lip Bath, Multi Miracle Glow Balm, Magic Eye Rescue, and Super Radiance Resurfacing Facial due to their Retinol/Vitamin A content. Topical retinoids are less likely to cause harm to the unborn child, but should not be used during pregnancy or by women planning to have a baby. All other products are safe during pregnancy, but it is advised to consult with an ob-gyn/midwife about product safety due to potential skin changes and sensitivities.
Is Magic Wand safe while pregnant?
During pregnancy, sex toys can provide extra stimulation, but they are generally safe to use. However, it’s crucial to ensure the toys are clean before use to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), such as Chlamydia, Genital herpes, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Trichomoniasis, and Gonorrhea. It’s essential to avoid using sex toys that may carry harmful bacteria and viruses.
Is it safe to orgasm during pregnancy?
Research has shown that having sex during pregnancy does not cause or increase the risk of negative outcomes for the baby or the mother. In a normal and healthy pregnancy, orgasm does not increase the risk of miscarriage or preterm labor. Sexual activity can even have positive health benefits of pregnancy, such as boosting feel-good hormones like oxytocin and increasing blood flow to the uterus.
It is possible for a pregnant mother to have an orgasm during pregnancy if done properly. In a healthy pregnancy, orgasm does not increase the risk of preterm birth or miscarriage. However, if the pregnancy has many risk factors, doctors advise both couples to limit sex. There is currently no research that proves orgasmic sex during pregnancy harms the baby. In a normal pregnancy, the husband’s penis cannot reach the fetus, and semen cannot enter the uterus because the cervix has a thick and viscous plug. During orgasm, the baby’s cervix contracts more strongly, and the fetus moves more, but it does not have much effect.
Is Magic Spoon processed food?
Magic Spoon is a healthier alternative to other brands that use processed grains and refined sugar. The brand’s formulas aim to provide a balanced diet with healthy nutrients while still being enjoyable. Magic Spoon’s formulas contain 13-14g of high-grade protein, which is essential for muscle building and repair. This is 10x more than the protein found in famous brands, making it a healthier choice for those looking for a more balanced diet.
What is the main ingredient in Magic Spoon?
Magic Spoon cereals are made with milk protein blend, monk fruit, allulose, a blend of high oleic sunflower oil and avocado oil, tapioca starch, chicory root fiber, salt, and natural flavors. After over a year of formulating, they have found a way to include protein and healthy fats without high sugar. Magic Spoon contains 0g of sugar across most flavors and 1g in Honey Nut. It is perfect for ketogenic or low carb diets, as each serving has 4g net carbs and 0. 5-1. 5g saturated fats from a blend of high-oleic sunflower oil and avocado oil. The company created Magic Spoon to fit into low carb lifestyles and to provide a nostalgic childhood cereal.
What is the best exfoliator for pregnancy?
The Caudalie Glycolic Peel Mask is a 10-minute facial treatment that brightens dark spots and exfoliates dead skin. It’s a pregnancy-safe alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that fights skin dullness and uneven texture. Dr. Rabach recommends this non-retinol mask for clear marks during pregnancy or nursing. It contains patented vine sap-derived viniferine, glycolic acid, and natural AHAs like super maple extract. Avoid the eye area due to the strong acid.
Can the baby feel vibrations in the womb?
Nijhuis found that a 30-week-old fetus’ “memory” of vibrations lasts around 10 minutes, improving as fetuses age. However, this memory is very basic and unlikely to be capable of learning a language. Hepper, a skeptic, agrees with Nijhuis that “prenatal university programs” that claim to give babies an intellectual head start by playing Mozart or specially composed music are unlikely to be beneficial for brainier babies.
Can I use vibrating massager on legs while pregnant?
During pregnancy, it is important to avoid using massage guns on the legs, as the volume of blood increases, leading to swollen legs and feet. This increases the risk of developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Deep tissue massages to the legs could potentially dislodge a blood clot, so it is best to avoid this. Additionally, pregnant women often experience chronic back pain, which can be alleviated by using massage guns like the MuscleGun Carbon on the shoulders, upper back, and neck back.

If u get cold after eating cold foods, babies will also can catch cold from u easily not through breastfeeding but by close contact with mother. Having hygiene food outside is okay. No issues with mango. Anything limited is okay. Having milk during pregnancy n breastfeeding is essential. Milk contains calcium. For calcium supplementation milk is essential. If breastfeeding mother doesn’t consume enough milk, soon her bone becomes weak resulting in bone damage osteoporosis. Even it may cause fracture. So don’t tell others milk is not essential for breastfeeding mother’s.
Those who are saying the above statements are wrong, lemme just clear your doubts 1. If you eat something cold your baby will not get cold, but if you’re suffering from cold your baby will suffer from cold with contact with you because of the viruses. Both the things are different. 2. You can eat outside food but make sure it’s hygienic. 3. You can have mangoes but limited amount. 4. Some people (mostly elder ones) say that if you drink milk your body will make more milk. It’s wrong, but she’s not saying DON’T drink milk, you have to drink milk for calcium. Both are different things here. Read and try to understand carefully before thrusting her.
Not every mother has same thing. Some things r not myth. Eating mangoes causes diarrhoea for the child. I experienced with two kids. Some babies can tolerate not my kids. Some cold foods also does the same. Eating outside food doesn’t cause anything to the baby but mother. I had c section nobody was ter to cook for me. I had hotel food n suffered a lot.
Please listen to your body before listening to anyone, and follow doctor advise. Food beneficial to one person might be toxic to others. Next moderation is the key no matter what. If something doesn’t suit you stop immediately, it can affect the baby too. If something is beneficial there is no harm trying even if it’s a myth.
Don’t misguide people Not all old school things are myths We will catch cold eating cold food that will definitely give the same to child My sis child has grown for 3 years in front of me at least I have an idea of this. hygienic food habits are very important, eating outside food is not encouraged though can be limited
Coming from a Ukrainian lady — never heard of any of these myths before. In our country there are just no rules like that, and everyone is breastfeeding okay. So to all ladies talking about cold food, mangos and milk being a proven fact, well, in some countries this is not a thing at all, and yet, we raise our babies without any issues. Just know that it’s all very individual and you should consult with your doctor before believing anything on the internet or anything your aunties/ grandmother say
But if you catch a cold you can pass it on to your baby. I think that’s where the thought comes from. Just to add, many medications do pass into breastmilk..so what you eat can affect your baby. Also some babies are lactose/dairy intolerant and the mom has to modify her diet if she plans to breastfeed
I don’t think you should eat something cold when breastfeeding. If you catch a cold, you can pass it down to your baby. And, there is nothing wrong with taking milk, even extra milk during breastfeeding. Each time you suckle your baby, your body gets dehydrated. So, it is good to keep yourself hydrated .This is something my gynecologist had told me.
She is not a gynaecologist to say these stupid things. It depends upon their body condition. Some old facts are for some reason(not all) After delivery and during initial months of nursing, you and your baby’s body are very sensitive and very reactive. When you eat mango, your body may not be able to digest it smoothly and might cause stomach problems.(it depends upon the mother’s body condition). There are still some people who blindly believe in these stupid things on YouTube cuz they just manipulate is in that way. They just need views(there are some exceptions) This lady 😱 OMG …… She posted shots abt equality and some blah blah. But posting info about such sensitive thing without knowing any facts is not really a good job. Just searching info in Google and posting it…not verifying it …. (Guys please please don’t follow what others say in social media) Dear mom’s be safe and consult your doc if he conforms it you may enjoy it Highly irritating to see her dance 🤦🤦
I dint follow anything i dint drink enuf milk dint take hot water bath dint keep myslef warm i was roaming as i had to do evrythn by myself after delivery but had healthy food home cooked also sometimes outside food As my daughter is born in march season of mangoes i had enuf mangoes n jackfruits too also had lots of greens sometimes i had icecream too n had normal filter water. I had enuf milk to breastfeed my baby She is 2.1years now She was not at all affected by my food intake. She did absolutely well n even now. So it just depends on ua body taking anythn n evrythn in moderation is good for u n baby as well.
Namasthe, what is the base for your statement on food habbits during breastfeeding? And on which period of breastfeeding are you talking about? There is a saying that ” We are what we eat”.. Then if you eat cold affecting food and a mother catches a cold, for being dependent on mother, baby will obviously be affected . And if mother eats, unhealthy junk outside, heavy for digestion food, it wont be properly digested to mother herself, how a dependent baby can digest?
Having milk is essential to maintain the fat in breast milk. I went dairy free for more than 2 months as my baby got milk protein intolerance and my breast milk became very watery. It’s coming back to normal after I started consuming dairy again.every baby is different. don’t follow anything blindly. Whatever she said in this article doesn’t seem right to me…
Whatever she said is 💯 true… i delivered my baby almost midnight 11.45 p.m and the doctor asked my parents to buy me something to eat from outside so that i wont feel hungry throughout the night… and mangoes are absolutely safe to eat when breastfeeding unless the mother is intolerant to mangoes naturally… in olden days the pregnancy journey of women was not given importance as much as they do now so rather than medical diagnosis most of the restrictions were created based on speculation… lets not encourage blind belief and trust our bodies
As a new mother I would say yes and no, you need to drink a lot of water, Milk is given to new moms so they can have sufficient calsium supply because lactating will cause calsium deficiency. I don’t agree with chill part, You can eat whatever but your baby might be allergic or not tolerant to some food you eat. It is your baby do what is right for your baby ❤
Yeah your right my mom asked me to take mangos during my pregnancy.. Even I ate jaggery & very lil amt of sesame seeds, then sea food crab too .. Not all together bt in different times.. You know even my doctor suggested me to take small piece of pineapple during my 7th month .. Anything limited is no harm .. Even during breastfeeding I ate all these limitedly .. 🥰✌✌✌
Madam please make article, regarding positing in the new born. Mean should I take my new born in shoulder, someone say, before the child have capacity to stay their head straight don’t position in the strait otherwise child have voice problems mean soft part of head may go inside, and baby unable to speak properly. And also about using baby career, bags.
Newborn can catch cold from mothers, mangoes can cause diarrhoea to child during breastfeeding, milk is good for breastfeeding mothers as it fulfills all the nutrition required to body . 😢 Please don’t post information on so sensitive topic I mean some people follows information from YouTube and it can cause harm to innocent people.
All these points r of ur own myth. And it’s all false. Just tell me one thing, if u breast feed ur kids, how u believe that they ll b healthy at that time????? How u get milk then???? Only of eating healthy food, u can send it to ur kids by ur milk. How u grow then???? How u breast feed ur kids then???? Did u took all these which u said or not????? B loyal & tell the truth if u r genuine to ur job.
I respect your shorts, which are rising voice over women liability . But this short may create bad courage in women. Indian ancestors have followed many culture and tradition which are scientifically good for us, that’s the reasons western countries are following indian culture. So just keep ur reels or short just to give freedom for women don’t cross the limit and don’t fill bad stuff in indian womens please 🙏🙏
Please dont speard misinformation and half ass knowledge. Not every babu reacts the same and every mom reacts same, the foods that are suggested to be avaoid because some babies may have some allergies or have bad reaction and since theu are babies and we wouldn’t know, they make general list of food to avoid, unless u want to take chance with your baby. And milk is suggested to consume to as its rich in calcium and we need to take almost double and triple amount when having baby as well as when breastfeeding, if we dont consume enough, either baby will have less calcium or mom bones will loose calcium to nurture the baby or milk will be resuced. If the mom is willing to gamble on these 3 option yes milk is not thay important. Hell the food we eat will impact our milk as well, my baby got very less milk, so i had consume lot foods that help with brestbeading, like milk with bread, garlic etc. And baby dont drink milk when i consume garlic, she doesnt like the milk that day, so i had to choose other options. Dont be in a dilution that our food will not impat milk and breastfeeding baby. It very much does. But what we can do is, try in small quantities so that we will no of this food is having any bad reactions to our baby, if not we can consume away. But start with small amounts so if there is damamge it will be minimum.
I agree with most of the things you say except two. #1 is this what you’re saying on this article, I strongly disagree. I have seen in real life when babies have upset stomach or unusual poo when Mothers eat unusual food and breast feed. #2 You say that breast milk is nutritious regardless of how old the baby is, that’s incorrect. Breast milk has little nutrients after 8 months and almost no nutrients after 1 year. It’s the Mother’s choice of how long they wish to breastfeed, but the nutrient information provided by you is false.
Outside food… Well I remember when my nephew was born, my sister ate something from outside, which obviously had more spices. The very next morning I noticed the poop of the baby was green, and soon he got rashes in his bum. She then drank more water and voided outside food. Some old school things are not myths. Please don’t say just anything
Eatint cold food items may cause the mother to cath cold as she is recovering from pregnancy and het body is weaker. If mother get cold baby will also cath it due to close contact. And eating outside food is not recommended in first few months of breastfeeding becaue we dont know the hygiene standard. And maily milk is consumed to enrich the mother for calcium intake which she looses during feeding. All the homemade food are prepared with caution to help mother and baby for healthy life for future for both of them. So saying everything is a myth is not true.
In my experience, when I ate a little of all that she mentioned… My baby started facing troubles. I like all that she shows.. But this seems to not be so correct.. Better to consult gynae before following such stff blindly. Better to follow rules which is good for the baby and abstain if needed to.. It is matter of 1-2 years
Don’t spread negetivity New mom please don’t follow this Follow what your parents elder’s say’s only then your routine n baby health will be good Even I tried not following what my parents says and had outside food My milk production decreased very badly n now I’m supposed to give formula milk to my baby
This is was not an Neonatologist or a pediatrician to guide every breastfed mother and of course she is not a lactation consultant also so dont take things from this lady just follow what your Consultants tells according your body condition. This article is purely made for financial purpose and her familiarity purpose dont follow her.
Eating cold foods affected my baby even i thought nothing will happen but when i personally experienced with my infant i was very disappointed with all these things who said me nothing will happen to baby but no u have to be sure and be concious about ur foods while breastfeeding bcoz babies will consume the milk whatever we have or include in foods that will goes to the babies my baby suffered with severe cold cough and fever so plz guys dont blindly follow the things which we dont know ask ur elders and gyany first then go for it i wont say that she’s spreading false information but every body and evry baby is different
My gynaecologist had told me to eat everything without any regrets or guilt. My mom more than my mil use to shout at me. Though my mil was also against me she never uttered a single word coz my mom was doing her job😂 . Ok. Anyways my gynaec cleared it to me that in old times science n medicine was not advanced hence oldies behaved in a certain way. But now since times have changed we need not follow them . Obviously i followed my doc. Both my children were perfectly fine. This happened 23years ago
Few of your points are reasonably but remember keeping our pride as women is important and giving others their value and respecting our traditions is more tha important as well…not just doing what we like coz like always goes with what seems comfortable and with no risk …when u turn an influencer it should be reasonable from all points of view …we want relationships but we do not want any responsibilities and respect towards them does not this seem completely selfish …..not everyone is same girls think from ur own life point of view before u take these advices … situation for her may be easy and people around may be so good …. don’t get into troubles by blindly following…ur life ur decisions…
May be she is not aware and telling these are myth….i swear, i have a 3 month old kid…i had icecream last week…the very next day baby has got a severe cold😮…but i didnt get a cold….the reason is, because i fed my milk to baby…dont belive have ..our ancestors told many things correct…nothing is wrong…try to follow our elders advise…always great…
Eating outside during breastfeeding should be avoided. The mother should only take satvic food(satvik food: The food prepared with fruits and vegetables with satva guna and should be offered to Bhagwaan before consuming.) The food should be prepared with bhagwan naama japa. For example while cooking the food keep on chanting Sri Rama Jaya Rama Jaya Jaya Rama. This will destroy the negativity in the food and the food prepared will become divya(divine). This will make the baby dharmic and astika.
Jab apki delavary ho jaye baby born ho jaye, tab main hota he khana …jo ap khavoge vahi baby khayega ….breastfeeding k Doran… Mera personal experience se muje ek bat Pata chali …kisi ki bat sun k ku6 mat khav ….kyo ki 6 month bohot dhyan rakho Dal bhat, khichdi, asi pach jaye vesi chiz khav Mera beta 4 month ka hone Vala he use pet me dard nahi Hua kabhi……mango agle Sal kha lenge …😅
Mam, with due respect of the way you make articles, this article didn’t cheer me up! Post delivery the body condition is totally different. We shouldn’t be eating anything outside because they’re not hygiene and the chef who prepares may not be preparing in a positive mindset. This will definitely impact the mother and the baby. It depends on each and every mother and the baby as how they react to it. Hence, we shouldn’t taking any risk in these areas. I totally disagree with you on this matter. Mother should properly take good care of her and her baby at least until the baby turns up to 18 months. Please always don’t consider what ancestors say is wrong. Just because we don’t know the actual reason behind following the rituals or practice, it doesn’t mean that they’re not good. Trust our ancestors and always consume satvic and home made food. This is not only for the mother, but it’s applicable for everyone!
Excuse me but I think, one lady (let’s call her inventor 😂) made all these myths up in her mind so that people give her importance because of all these sh*t she knew. It’s nothing but quickest way for these kinda ladies to gain attention and importance in the family which was not so obvious in the older generation. Bunk these myths and do what is right for you and your baby ❤
Completely wrong and half baked info .. it’s simple input = output when it comes to breast feeding.. if ur intake is healthy & hygienic the quality of milk and it’s nutritional value also increases.. like wise consuming milk in adequate quantities will help in the production of milk a lil better .. cumin is also great and shud be taken regular in dals and veggies to aid milk production
Thoughts on retinoid topical for acne therapy during pregnancy? So far it appears most reviews come to the conclusion that inadvertent exposure to topical retinoids don’t leads to worse pregnancy outcomes. Yet, they also go on to say that there isn’t enough data to recommend retinoid topicals during pregnancy as the risk/benefit is unknown. I’m inclined to think that responsible use of topical retinoids during pregnancy has no recommendation for discontinuation during pregnancy. Thoughts? Thank you for your time.
Thank you, this is helpful information. I much prefer being told “research isn’t sure” rather than the usual blanket statements that guidelines give like “avoid liver when pregnant AT ALL COSTS”. You didn’t address during pregnancy though, only before. I suppose eating 50g of liver pate weekly or 2 weekly would be OK? (apparently that’s 9000IU Vitamin A says Google).
