Hey guys, the new patch messed up our ability to use Spin Counter from Block and Evasion but I figured out a way to still do it.
in the past mystic had more CC and tankyness while sacrificing some of the damage compared to a striker. you even said that your damage was cut in half because now it lacks CC and safe engages. if they removed the super armor and some CC from her rotation, they should have made her hit harder then… just my opinion… cuz i don’t really see a reason to play a mystic over a striker besides boobs now… i don’t think the guys doing the balacing stuff… know what they’re doing…
i mained mystic when i heard about it before it released and recently decided to go int pvp was learning combos etc etc having a major blast then 4 days later all the class’c changes came out and am finding it diffcult to want to keep going into pvp for someone who doesnt know pretty much anything about other class’s and learning own class pvp is very difficult right now to get into
Dont use c swap, use sea burial instead. q > sea burial is the best swap to awak from preawak, not a c swap. C swaps are only good the other way since they come with downsmashes then if you have skilled the correct abilities. or if you use them mid brawl as a mass destruction to stall. Dont use crouching tiger mid combo to swap to preawak, perfect strike is better (even wrath rabams or c swaps are better), youre wasting time your opponent is on the ground that you could be spending hammering him instead. If you want to know how to Mystic search Seung Bin LEE. That guy knows whats up with mystic, he adapted very well to the new changes.
Permanent SA was still OP against any class without a grab, especially magic users and she had so much mobility before(and everyone took mobility losses too so no pity there), I can’t say I feel sorry for her tbh. Like it sucks if you liked her before but she was a bit too OP, she’s supposed to be a tanky brawler anyway though so I feel like this is what she should’ve be from the start
Mystic is good class now after changes. I like how they make the classes less dependent on SA and guards. means you have to fight clever to get past your opponents defenses. The moment a single class has too many of one thing that makes them OP it becomes broken. So the stamina changes also works this way. Less spamming and more thinking
To be fair not like the change. They lowered the skill ceiling with that patch. What i mean is before you needed to catch a tight timing after an evasion to do a quick counter, otherwise the animation was a lot longer and you were doing normal counter. Now you can just spam it, which to me is taking player-skill and practicing out of the game. And it’s sucks, cause i spend a lot of time to perfecting my timing on the exact Quick Counter after Evasion and putting it into PVE and PVP combos. That literally makes me mad, and i’m wondering why they are always cater for st*** casuals that just start crying if something is hard to pull and you need to practice. I’m not a no-lifer, literally plays 2-3 hours per day, and maybe 4-5 at Sunday, but every single day i was spending at least 15 minutes Practicing on Dummy and always looks to perfecting and be quick on my combos when PVE-ing and so on. So sad that all MMORPG at one point turning the combat into potato. Like ESO did with their changes to Animation Canceling, and double the time for Dots, which makes me quit the game back then.
