The novel of Great mage returns after 4000 years has a very interesting story and is way more serious and tense than in manhwa. There was hardly any comedy and it was very dark, but manhwa changed the story quite a bit and even added quite a bit of humour. The art is very good. You can give it a try if u like magic types.
im glad im not the only one who thinks SSS level suicide hunter has been falling off recently. The romance just felt so abrupt. This is the issue with manwha like this. If the reader doesn’t like the love interest as much as the MC does, the rose tinted glasses don’t work on them and the whole thing just makes you want to roll your eyes. There were significantly better romance options for him, but it feels like he chose her just for the sake of loving someone and then that was that. Neither of them developed as people, they just sort of…flirted until they hooked up while he talked her up like she was the best girl in the entire manwha. It hit weird.

From my top 5 manhwas. I also recommend Tower of God and Swordmaster’s Youngest Son SPOILER WARNING: Too many leveling, dungeon, isekai, and regression manhwas. Most of them have the same concept and much similarity. But Tower of God, imma say that it’s half isekai. The MC, 25th Bam, is an overpowered MC, well, maybe not unbeatable, but he is considered a god by a specific cult, a slayer, the one who can kill the king of the tower, and the one that can do everything that considered impossible. What makes Tower of God is my MOST favorite is because it’s not simply someone who try to reach the highest floor to get what he want. He never had any wish to fulfill, so the story is not about Bam try to reach the highest floor, but to unveil his hidden secret in the tower with his friends, and to discover of why he was betrayed by his loved one. Early chapter’s artstyle is a bit wack, but gets better eventually. 12/10 Swordmaster’s Youngest Son is about regression. It’s about renowned family of a swordmaster, where every children in the family (there’s 13) have to compete with each other to gain the title of the next chief of the family. The 13th son, Jin Runcandel, born without his family’s gene of swordmaster, he basically cannot use sword no matter how hard he train. He grew and grew and still cannot use sword, until he died, while achieve none. Fortunately, he met with a certain entity that give him a power and a second chance to regression. Now he live with his new power from the beginning to prove his worth to the family.

I read tomb raider king to 80 ish chapter, I cant stand reading any further then that. problem with a lot of these korean manhwa, the main character just getting stupid op in such a short amount of time. it kills the plot and the manhwa it self, thats probably the reason why I still enjoy manga more then manhwa.

Wow, sword king is there. Though it’s not realy about revenge. You see, guy comes back from military, but gets summoned to a tutorial area where he must Reach lvl 5. He and thosands other people. The thing is, whenever he reaches lvl 5 as his guide system tolds him to, objective resets, and he starts again, though he keeps his statistics. So he is prisoned on tutorial area, where monster are trying to kill him for many years, but he does not age a day. But he gets released finaly, funding out that other people from earth are considered hearthless monsters, that nearly destroyed that new world, so he must keep his identity hidden. Story goes far from here and this manhwa Has realy good moments. You guys should read it
Solo leveling? Bro solo leveling carried the action and fantasy genre in manhwas. And this isn’t an opinion it’s a fact solo leveling has the best artwork I have ever seen and whilst the cliche plot of zero to hero makes it seem like a bad manhwa the character’s and artwork are amazingly done. Solo leveling practically reintroduced so many action/fantasy manhwa ideas like necromancers and leveling systems.

Read most of them i found some of them boring here are some that are good. 5)Boundless Necromancer-36 : Generic story about some low rank hunter, he entered a tower along with other hunters from different worlds and his leveling up like crazy not really a necromancer, doesn’t fight like one more like a swordsman. Still enjoyable that most of what was shown in the list. 6)The Knight King Who Returned with a God-8 : MC transmigrated to another world became somesort of paladin king killed demons and monster. Came back to earth that has typical manhwa dungeons now. MC is extremely racist to humanoid monsters(Orc’s) and is even feared by demons. 9) Omniscient readers viewpoint : This one is really good, mc has read a light novel and it seems his really the only one who is really interested in it and finish it. Then apocalypse happen and the things that are happening we’re the same thing in the novel. Some characters also have read it but did not finish half of it. Its interesting and unique in some ways, since the light novel’s original MC is really op compared to the MC.
