The Magic Of A Returner Need To Be Unique, Manganelo?

A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special is a fantasy manga about a man named Desir Arman who travels back in time to save his loved ones from a deadly labyrinth. The Shadow Labyrinth is the most catastrophic existence humanity has faced in history, and Desir is one of the six remaining survivors. The six attempt to clear the final level of the labyrinth but ultimately fail, and much of humanity is lost.

The story follows Desir Arman, one of the six survivors of mankind, as he travels back in time to save his loved ones from the deadly labyrinth. He faces various challenges, including being ridiculed as incompetent by those around him and enrolling in a magic academy to escape. His “useless” defensive magic comes in handy as he learns that magic used to fill up the world, and an event called “Dark Air” erases all magic from it.

A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special also features characters like Sagara Soma, a hardcore gamer, and Satoshi Yanagawa, a police assistant. Yanagawa works with a beautiful girl, but she has a bad character. The adaptation is good, but the quality is not great, with no big fight scenes and action scenes being bland and simple.

The story revolves around a carefree and pushy young host vs. the strait-laced and beautiful former emperor of Kabukicho, and the Omegaverse story about a superior who is overcome by love, heat, and other elements.

Who does Halbrand love?

The Rings of Power, a novel by Amazon, sets up a love story between Galadriel and Halbrand, a character who has been a long-time friend. However, the novel’s early days and the potential for their attraction to be quashed before it even begins raise issues. One deviation from the J. R. R. Tolkien canon is the absence of Celeborn, Galadriel’s husband, who was originally a roaming warrior focused on vanquishing evil. The novel’s episode 6 renders arguments for Celeborn’s absence redundant, making the romance between Galadriel and Halbrand redundant.

The novel’s Galadriel/Halbrand romance is expected, but it doesn’t benefit Galadriel’s character much. Morfydd Clark’s character has been a fearsome, charismatic hero, complex in her emotions and motivations. The Halbrand romance doesn’t detract from these achievements, but neither does it enhance them. Halbrand’s inner fury and mysterious origins provide enough substance without a love angle pulling intrigue elsewhere. The whole affair falls somewhere between predictable and unnecessary, as both characters have been anything but thus far.

Notwithstanding the considerable magical abilities of Zod Exarion, Dadaneuph proved to be an insurmountable adversary. Desir, employing Draconian magic, made the sacrifice of his left eye in order to vanquish the creature. Dadaneuph was a quest in the Shadow Labyrinth, where Romantica Eru was killed in battle.

Who is the strongest character in a returner’s magic should be special?

Desir, a lower-level circle magician, excels in Analytical Magic, a skill that allows him to hack and cancel the magic of other mages with speed and efficiency. He is known as the Anti-Mage by his companions in the Shadow Labyrinth. During their time in the Shadow Labyrinth, Esteban Donovan Asylan taught Desir martial arts, making him proficient in close combat. Desir learned a skill that allows him to directly resonate with magic gems and use their mana for his own spells, enabling him to use magic spells beyond his circle class. This skill has made Desir a formidable opponent in the Shadow Labyrinth.

How is Desir so powerful?

Desir, a wizard, learns a skill that allows him to directly resonate with magic gems and use their mana for his own spells. This allows him to use magic spells beyond his circle class, and he later learns to combine this magic with the more common type of magic to create powerful spells with a great amount of mana usage. Desir can combine portions of Draconic spell casting and normal spell casting to create powerful spells and effects, allowing him to use power beyond his tier.

However, this system is still new and should only be used as a last resort or trump card. Desir was inspired by a divination magic ritual performed by travelers he and Ajest visited, which used a ritual system and music to cast spells of prophecy. He thanks them for their guidance and continues to improve his hybrid spell system.

Is Pram a guy or girl?

Pram is a well-mannered young boy who cares deeply for his party, especially Desir. He desires a family of his own and has a rapier, a silverlight rapier, left by his noble father. He uses the longsword as a replacement for his regular sword, a rapier, in battles like Fasibar Aseguniche. However, he loses and gets beat up by Fasibar, who is defended by Desir. Pram believes his father left a cheap iron sword, but Desir convinces him that the rapier is a special silverlight rapier and unbreakable. They fight the Estabanian and the pawnbroker, and Pram returns to using the rapier as his main weapon. The story highlights Pram’s ambition to have a family and his love for his party.

  • And all within rules! They had no chance – Readied action to chop hand off – The Hand of Vecna does auto-attach & attunes itself (for real) – Use Teleport So its all done in one turn, only thing skipped is the suggestion spell (DC 18) of the hand towards the user but that would be done wherever he teleported to This is also a surprise round, so not a chance to stop this

  • Weird how some comments are pissed at Joe because he “ruined the fun”, “Mechanics are wrong” and “Hogged the spotlight”… While the actual players loved and enjoyed that Plot twist… Personally… Why do anything special in game anyway? Because when you do something amazing “everyones” or “someones” gonna accuse you of stealing the spotlight? or “Thats not in the Rules” pedantics … Everyone should be the same and just follow the story that I made sarcasm btw also nice article btw bro

  • Definitely ONLY between Matt and him. Joe is a great player, but wants the surprise. He probably wanted to do something that wouldn’t kill or hurt the party, but badass enough like this. It was likely planned to the extent of Joe saying “first opportunity I’m getting that hand!” Matt says “you can certainly try.” And then Matt maybe told him if he had the opportunity he could and then that’s when he phased out of the session. I figure it was scripted to the point of IF he failed and wasn’t able to get the hand or someone was savvy to it, Matt would have simply moved his exit to a bit later in the session.

  • Chops off his hand – 1 Action COMBAT START – SURPRISE ROUND Drop weapon – no action Pick up hand – free action Place hand on stump – bonus action Teleport – 1 action What he did works fine within the rules. For the attunement fiasco, one of 5e’s main rules is during rule judgements specific beats general. This means the hand isn’t connected to the 1h attune time since it has its own attunement metrics.

  • That was a really cool moment, and became legendary after it was basically made cannon by wizards of the coast, but I’ve always been pived about how he did way too much in one turn without anyone getting a chance to even roll to react, and also immediately using the hand to teleport away without having to atune. More than one other player would even be able to one shot him at that point, and Percy even had quick draw… He even healed the hand on and stopped to make his little “sorry, not sorry” speech…

  • i mean action economy is a thing. as soon as he cut off his own hand, initiative should have started again. putting vecna’s hand on, depending on the process, could be anywhere from a free object interaction to a full action. we will say its a bonus action because thats what it takes to activate or draw most magic weapons. lay on hands to spend his healing pool is also a full action and teleporting is a full action. vox machina should have had plenty of opportunities to react and stop him. not to mention, what spell did he use to teleport? was it ACTUALLY teleport? how did he still have a 7th level slot left after JUST having fought Vecna?! any other lower level teleportation spell takes too much time to cast OR place him within 400 feet or closer. the only reason this happened is because Matt probably was the one to come up with it and for plot reasons allowed it to happen.

  • The pause between saying a prayer to Tiamat and chopping was him effectively readying an action in combat and giving everyone a chance to respond. Then from the 5e rules on Surprised, pretty safe to apply the status condition to everyone. Using your healing pool for Lay on Hands could get off guarenteed, is an action. The Teleport can only be done as action as well, which is where a bit of rule of cool comes in. The Lay on Hands wasn’t all that necessary, the linger to give everyone a chance to react was there, fair play.

  • I want everyone to look at Travis’s face as it all goes down. It’s not hard to read body language and see that he alone is not comfortable with that. I’d even say he’s pissed off. Another player literally came in and stole the limelight from the other players at the end of a long campaign… And then the dude just leaves.

  • Not sure how this has become cannon. If I were any of the other players I’d ask for rolls at least as a formality (his healing roll and his teleporting), along with the fact that there is time involved to do those things where the other characters could conceivably try and do something to stop it. Just because you quickly ramble off that you did a chain of things doesn’t mean you did it all that fast. “I walked up to the dragon quickly cut it’s head off before the DM could say or do anything on it’s behalf and killed it, sorry it’s just business, the end.”

  • By rules you have to “tune” the magic iten with a short rest. (5ed) I know that you must cut your hand off and put the vecna’s hand on, but this is just one more thing to do before you take the short rest, because the short rest to tune the item is the main rule. Page 137 DM book, if im not wrong. So, if im right, he could still try to use it, but it would fail and he would be treated as a traitor in front of his partners xD

  • Hm lets see, in terms of just speed…. 1. chopping own hand off (High DC roll to even do it) – I action 2. Drop Weapon and pick up hand of vecna so it can be attached to stump – 1 action 3. Attach hand of venca – at least 1 action, probably more depending on how long it takes to attach. 4. Cast teleport or use teleport natural skill – 1 action Basically as GM Id be “Ok your chop you hand off. Take 5d8 damage and roll CON save for consciousness. What’s everyone else doing?”

  • Leaving aside that babbidy boobidy rule lawying shit, if i was a player in this table i’d be very upset at Joe. He’s a guest yet i feel he stole the spotlight (and part of the win) from everyone else. I don’t care it’s what his character would do. There is a time to make good meta (the kind that tells your “Ok, yeah. that’s what arkhan would do, but you are a guest at this table, bro. if you pulled that off, that shit’s mean” and he just decided to be cool or whatever. Even if his character became canon, even if people think he was cool. This was a (very enjoyed by its players) 5 years campaign and what he did went against my personal D&D. As much as i love Joe, i don’t particulary respect this move he pulled.

  • i’ll probably catch hell for this, but… He should be glad i wasn’t the DM. Because, once his plan was revealed to the group i would’ve instantly side-barred him and gone outside the room and told him this. “once you materialize where you transported to you see 5 massive heads of Tiamat surrounding you, eyes filled with rage, glowering at you”. “This one thought permeates your brain, ‘HOW DARE YOU VIOLATE MY CHOSEN’S BODY WITH THE TAINT OF ANOTHER GOD… REMOVE THAT FILTH FROM YOUR BODY OR I SHALL TEAR FORTH YOUR SOUL AND CONSUME IT!!!!” After a silent count of 10, if he had not chopped it off and cast it aside I would tell poor Joe… hand me your character sheet, your god has destroyed your body and consumed your soul… no resurrection possible. walk back inside and continue the game. If he did chop it off Tiamat would curse him and geas him to perform a task of redemption. Remember Tiamat is a goddes (vanity) AND a dragon (vanity to the n’th power) and to have a follower insult her by praying to her and then binding with the flesh of another god…. OUCH

  • I tried to do similar as a Monk during a mini-campaign, where it was me and the only two survivors all holding onto a sacred artifact (a Luxon beacon), and we were all wounded and weary. We all decided to sleep, but as an elf I broke trance and elected to attack the others while they were sleeping, to which the GM promptly allowed them both to wake up fully healed and with all spell slots recovered and no element of surprise, and basically got my ass handed to me… suffice to say that group didn’t last very long.
