To turn off RGB lighting on your gaming PC, you can use three methods: holding the DPI button and pressing scroll wheel key to cycle until it is off, holding the DPI button and pressing the right mouse click button to lower the LED lighting brightness until it is off, or turning off the lighting in the MSI Mystic Light.
Open RGB is currently disabled due to unimplemented detection or bricking risk, which is why some users have switched to Dragon Center instead. To disable RGB lighting effects on your MSI devices, open MSI Center, click “Utility” → “Mystic Light”, select the keyboard, and adjust the lighting effects in the section below. You can use default templates and further adjust colors, speed, etc.
For example, if you have an MSI PRO B660-A mobo in an MSI MAG VAMPIRIC 100R case, you can’t control or turn off RGB lights on the front panel or rear case fan. To disable the RGB lighting, click on the Windows logo in the left down corner, type services.msc and press enter, scroll down and find mystic lite and set it to disabled. Uninstall the Mystic Light app, ensure lights haven’t been changed back to red, and reboot the computer.
To turn off Mystic Light on Windows Startup, go to the scripts folder in C: Apps MSIRGB Scripts and create a new file called Disable.lua. For MSI Center, visit MSI’s website, install iCUE and MSI Center, reboot the system, launch MSI Center, and install the Mystic Light.
To customize LED colors, click on a color on the outer or inner arc and click one of the available options.
