Jimmy page has or had one of the biggest magical collections, and I heard he bought merlin’s cape, he has quite an extensive Crowley library, though so do a few other people. I’m a layman about the EN-US thesaurus, but you actually do something wrong yet explainable: the scéances thing involving spirits or souls, bears the name Spiritism, and this is on purpose since Mr. Kardek was around: Spiritualism has nothing to do with Spiritism, instead is precisely what we would think it is: to be spiritual in our beliefs, to acknowledge that man is not matter. So the problem is, calling those things Spiritualism you/we are classifying Spiritualism to be Spiritism the thing that Dan’s grandfather did which is a totally self contained independent specialization (<- even this noun is inappropriate) of Spiritualism that should not be confused with such because Spiritualism never gave offshoot such as Spiritism: the Spiritist movement (France, with KARDEK et al.), for these very reasons, declared itself to be about practices and possibility of practices around our disembodied souls, and that this is separate but conjoined, with Spiritualism in the way that philosophically Spiritism has to be Spiritualism and not Spiritism. Why should they might want to keep this secret? It’s nothing to be ashamed of, although I do not support the Church of Satan. My friend would talk about whitcraft and say it is very important to always close the gate so nothing can come through but once the gate has been opened it never fully closes there will always be a weakness in that area…thinking of the shadow on the bottom of the pool in Bowie’s former house….the gate clearly was not closed. My friend had many books by Crowley and a book called The Egyptian Book of The Dead, he never forced anything on me in any way, he was a very laid back guy. Strangly enough after my partner of 15 years died he turned up around my area, I would see him in random places and he would look at me directly but I never wanted to talk with him.
You didn’t touch on the mental health aspect of his family this affected him very much. I think he was already very open to receive outside forces without the drugs, but being addicted to coke opened that gateway wider. He was my first love so I have consumed as much about him as possible over the years.
