What are Cancers ruled by?

Cancer, ruled by the moon, is known for their domesticity and love for creating cozy, safe spaces. They are deeply attached to their families and are quick to adopt caregiver roles. However, they must be cautious when investing in someone emotionally, as they may blur the line between attentive nurturing and controlling behavior. However, their attachment to the home may be problematic for some. Cancers can inflict a harsh pinch with their passive-aggressiveness, so it may be difficult to convince them to talk openly about their issues without making them feel threatened. To build long-lasting trust, it is essential to avoid making them feel threatened. Cancers are known for their personality traits, weaknesses, and compatibility with certain individuals.

Cancers are most compatible with Capricorn and Taurus, as they possess stability and consistency, traits that Cancer desires in a partner. Libra, a cardinal sign, may feel at home with a Cancer partner, as they are focused on developing close relationships and seeking advice and support.

Cancers can be difficult to date due to their shy nature and need for patience. Patience is key when dating a Cancer, as they are sensitive water signs who hate conflict. They can express love, create art, and do whatever their heart wants to find their way back to themselves.

  • After perusal the full article, the thing that stuck out to me the most was the association of the child within the adult. I find cancer males don’t necessarily have a mother-like care like Cancer females can, but the Cancerean male more shows care and nurturing in a child-like way, like how a child will play pretend nurse or doctor whenever you’re feeling sick. I feel the signs from Aries to Cancer have these child-like endearing qualities in different forms. Aries has the child like care-free sense of adventure, Taurus has the child-like sense of knowing what it likes and has an appreciation and pride of its “comfort blankets”, Gemini has the child like sense of curiosity always asking the “why” of everything, and Cancer has the child like quality of showing others simplistic acts of care. It reminds me of one of my best friends who’s a cancer Sun and Venus. Anytime we go on walks, if he sees a flower, he’ll always go and pick it and when he gives it to me, he always presents it in this child-like way. Like how children see the sentimental value and beauty in the simplest of things that many of us adults take for granted, so when they present you something simple as a flower, to the receiver it’s a just a flower, but to the child or the Cancer, it’s a true gift to show they care.

  • I already watched it when it came out on Patreon but I have to comment for the sake of Acyuta being my Astrologer Teacher, and wanting to honor this awesome man, because I have learned SO MUCH from him. Thanks to him I am able to practice Astrology in a spiritually grounded way. I can only recommend his Astrology Courses; they are awesome, and if you want to learn Hellenistic Astrology with a good foundation, with a dash of a philosophical spiritual sprinkle, you have found the right man. In any case, all 3 of you did such a great episode, It was such a joy to watch and indulge, the vibes were so good between you 3. Thanks for delivering this great content for us guys!<3

  • I love the dive into Cancer symbolism here. Especially the part about the rhythms that come with caring for others, especially children, and how that teaches you to really tune in and be aware of what’s going on with them, materially, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Being able to empathize, nurture, and sacrifice for others is greatly undervalued, despite how vitally significant they are. It isn’t easy to be a caregiver, and it’s a role that can feel like you must lose a part of yourself in order to help someone else shine. If we were better at valuing and respecting this part of life, collectively we would be so much better off.

  • Living in Maine where the tides of the ocean are some of the more dramatic… this Cancerian time along with a Capricorn moon which is as close as it gets to the earth, we see dramatic differences between low and high tide. Ecologically this really cleans out in a deep way stagnant waters and the inner reaches of where rivers meet ocean and where there is brackish waters. It brings new richness with the strong reaches of currents. Tidal warnings are given this time of year. It can be ominous and change the factors for safe swimming and sailing and fishing boats…but is a necessarily upwelling and surge. As well it is the optimum time for beach combing to see what gifts are brought from the deep.

  • Jupiter in Cancer in the 11th House. One of my favorite placements in my chart as I’ve always found friendships and community to bring out the generous and nurturing side of me. Positive Keywords: nurturing, protective, sensitive, heart-led, sentimental, maternal, comforting, considerate, generous, expansive. Negative Keywords: moody, passive aggressive, indirect, shelled off, “mother-knows-best” attitude, gatekeeping, smothering, eating your feelings away.

  • I will always love cancers. I had a emotionally unavailable mom so it was tough. But my father is a cancer and let me tell you, the motherly/fatherly love that I got from him growing up was so damn healing. And I found out later that my favorite aunt is a cancer, she reminded me of my father when I wasn’t with him. Crazy.

  • Talking about the differences and similarities in the way Cancer and Scorpio defend: We Scorps “defend forward”, whereas Cancers form hedgehog defenses and defend to the rear. Then Pisces come in and toss smoke and mirrors at the opposition to confuse them. I’m prior service and a Scorpio Rising, with Mars 16 deg rx in Cancer 9th House in exact opposition to Saturn 16 deg in Cap 3rd House veery loosely conj Jupiter 8 deg in Cap, Lillith at 23 deg Cancer & Part of Fortune at 4 deg Cancer in 9th House; 2nd house Sag Sun, 10h house Leo moon conj Midheaven.

  • Cancer Sun and Venus. Keywords: Reflective, maternal, sentimental, cozy, nourishment, protective of loved ones, protective of their deepest feelings, cautious, sensitive, feels deeply, hard protective shell, vulnerable strength, nourishing, comforting, indirect, reserved, compassionate, lunar, moody, emotional. ♋️❤️

  • I loved this podcast! It’s so right on, especially when he mentioned the relationship of Cancerians and Arians. I have most of my planets in Aries. My two memorable friendships has been with Aries, my first child is a Aries, her boyfriend is a Cancer, I know some couples that are Cancer/Aries. Yes there’s some sort of cosmic connection there. Thank you, love all your shows, keep up the great work!

  • June and early July Cancers have more confidence, movement and openness than those towards the end of July who are more reserved, soft and steady. Like the bright or dark side of the moon; the wild ocean or the flowing river. I have seen this again and again: a different version of emotion and nurture. Cancer sun, Taurus moon

  • This was awesome! My daughter is sun conjunct mars in cancer, Scorpio moon and Pisces rising (conjunct Neptune)- so as my first cancer experience she’s taught me a lot about water placements! The only bit I would add is that her ‘sensitive,’ I see as sensory as the answer. When she is in her intuition her moods her empathy, I dilute it with swimming, sand, sculpting and maybe that’s the busy hands- etching piece because it works at helping her feel better or raise her signal. I’m loving these deep dives; I can’t wait for Leo!!! 🤟🏽😍✌🏽

  • As a Cancer rising, the cancer energy in this episode made me feel very understood and nurtured 😊 lots of great information. I especially loved the parts talking about history and people and ancestral remembrance and heritage, because I am an anthropology major and it just all clicked for me so well. (Sagittarius sun, pisces moon, cancer rising)

  • Great episode! So deep. I really appreciated the nuanced and specific details brought in (especially from the guests’ experiences and interests). It was also great instead of listing the keywords up front in alpha order (as in past episodes for Aries thru Gemini), that the keywords emerged organically then any remaining ones were addressed. Really natural flow! Thanks.

  • I especially likely the image of the foreshore and liminal space for Cancer–where land and water meet, a rich environment yielding surprises. No wonder Jupiter is exalted there! cf with Scorpio which I like to correlate with estuary waters, the place where fresh water meets salt water, also a vibrant environment, brackish, full of effluvium. And then there’s Pisces, the deep, salty sea with all sort of creatures and currents.

  • Cancer is also interesting as it correlates to the IC, the 4th house, representing home and the foundation for how we start to mature in our relationships with the outside world. Its opposite is the MC, the culmination of our identity in the outside world; our life’s work or major roles or contributions made. The MC is so outward, tangible, and objective compared to the IC. We give it so much reverence and respect, and treat the IC like its lesser, an afterthought. The MC is like center stage, and the IC is everything happening back stage and behind the scenes to make the show go on. Because the MC is in the forefront, it makes sense it gets more recognition; but where are we if our foundation is weak? Toxic or in a state of chaos? It affects everything that proceeds from that point on, of course. It’s funny how we don’t respect the importance of keeping our house in order, our hearts compassionate, of caring for others, and caring for ourselves. We think it is of lesser importance than status, image, material gain, everything material and outward. And sometimes we even fear it, thinking it is equivalent to weakness. But it’s amazing how little we value, respect, or make time for the foundation of our lives when it is so evident it affects the health and well-being of everything else. It’s similar to how much society ignores the importance of mental health and strong communities, believing it to be invalid, frivolous, or even detrimental to developing strength and independence.

  • I am a Cancer moon there is so many things I relate too and experienced to from this conversation, I wanted to comment on coincidence, synchronicity spurious correlations whatever it is called. I have had this in every area of life and dreams, it is magic. A good example is Anthony Hopkins landed a role in a film and he was looking for the book it was based off, he had looked in many bookstores and couldn’t find it. He came across the book, it was sitting on a bench. Then he was visiting the books author two years later and he told Anthony he gave the only copy he had to a friend which turned out to be the book from the bench.

  • As a double ♋(2 out of the Big Three) plus a power point in ♋, this was the best exploration of the sign I’ve ever seen. I think the sign can get a bit watered-down (pun intended!) and in this capitalistic world get a bit of the short stick, interestingly in a way that women have (“Just go have some kids and bake some cookies, Cancer!”), and this deep dive really restored the power and respect to the sign. Your Cancerian guests were amazing and perfect for this. Between this and your “Moon in Astrology” vide, I’ve never been so proud to be a ♋! Your website is incredible!

  • In regards to why we are intuitive?, & or psychic or both. Cancers we are ruled by the moon right, (breast and stomach) our intuition comes from our “womb” mee-wee as we are taught by an Elder at our sweat lodge ceremonies. Known for being motherly. Moms always know how to care & nurture. Most Cancers have this motherly/intuitive thing going on. A memory like an elephant I’ve been told I have too (lol). Maybe because we deal with all the emotions feeling all the moon phases as she travels through each sign. We can tell, very easily what someone is going through due to the fact, that we to go through these emotions with them. Moon & water connection… Like the water we are calm, always moving, sometimes crashing, sometimes “tsunamis “. We feel it all, even if we don’t want to. Cancers~ conduits? I love to heal, nurture, protect, love, create. I will relate with you or stay far away from you. ~Veronica ♋️☀️(Venus/Mercury) ♈️ 🌙(Chiron) 9th H ♌️ ➡️ Thank you! Loving this episode so much. 🫶🏽Veronica

  • OMG, I have a crazy stellium in Cancer. IC/Moon/Mercury at 6, Saturn at 10, Sun at 25. Happy to be done with Pluto in Cap. It has not been easy for us these past 15 or so years. So tired of hearing drivel about how we’re so moody when it’s much more complex than that. This was excellent and I appreciate the depth. ❤️

  • With sincerity that raises these people from self-importance and fanciful feelings, we note the balance of their presentation based on honest impartiality It is not possible to ignore their broad and deep cultural and cognitive level. They truly know more and understand with real depth. Their sights are sincere, their knowledge is wide, nothing like the sincerity of their souls.

  • I completely called Acutya had a cancer mercury right before listening and then he confirmed!! …because I feel he has valuable insight and his thoughts are valuable. Something is only valuable when of course it means something to us, especially of an emotional nature. Mercury cancer can definitely do that. They say like recognizes like 😊 & well, I also feel the same about myself and I have Gemini (words) in 2H (value), and cancer in 3H. When I was younger I honestly didn’t like Cancers, but that’s because I didn’t understand how valuable they are in this world. I have 2 cancer houses in my chart, so its a bigger theme in my life and that which I disliked the most has become my greatest gift and blessing..especially now that I’ve learned to “mother” myself..I can see the value in all people

  • To add another Cancerian musician– Noah Lennox aka Panda Bear. Cancer sun and Jupiter. He has a gorgeous song called Tropic of Cancer, and the first lyric in his song Alsatian Darn is “only feel a chill whenever I come out of my shell”. A lot of his music is very warm, comforting, happy feeling, but is also psychedelic, deeply reflective, at times dark, and really spiritual in a simple way. He writes about his family a lot, has songs about his brother, wife and one really psychedelic, strange sounding song called Daily Routine, thats just about walking his daughter to school. He’s pretty soft spoken and monotoned when he’s just chatting but has some serious range and pipes when he sings. His Jupiter in Cancer opposes his moon in Sag, perhaps an interesting note!

  • Just finished this podcast and absolutely loved it in spite of not having any planets in Cancer😉 Steph and Acyuta-bava were both insightful co-hosts. I appreciated how Acyuta-bava brought up the associations between the moon and his faith tradition, Krishna Bhakti Yoga. Acyuta-bava’s comments reminded me how throughout history, Muslims were often misrepresented with worshipping a Moon – God. Of course that’s not true, and, I presume that this notion stems from the fact that they use the lunar calendar to inform when religious holidays start and end. Just as Hindus and Buddhists use mala beads as a form of remembrance, Muslims use tasbih beads as a way to remember the 99 names of Allah. All very Cancerian! And of course, when Acyuta-bava mentioned the Buddhist temple in Maryland where he and others would circumambulate a shrine with their mala beads I immediately thought of the pilgrimage and the circumambulation around the Kaaba when Muslims are in Mecca. A really thoughtful and intelligent episode which I appreciated very much. Now onto the Leo in Astrology podcast!!

  • These episodes on the planets and signs are really brilliant and so very helpful for more deeply understanding the meanings. I just keep listening and relistening (natal Mercury in Pisces 🤣). I love Acyuta-bhava but didn’t know Steph. All three of you are so knowledgeable. The first thing I thought of when the article started is – “oh the two guests are both wearing Blue.” 💦 very apropos for setting the mood visually.

  • I have the sun, mercury, and the ascendant in Cancer. I noticed a topic come full-lunar-circle when you talked about the moon and the body keeping records/memory and then referenced the root of the word crab is “to scratch” or “scribe” and I immediately thought of a vinyl record and how it’s circular and created by scratching. Then, towards the end of the talk, records were brought up again in regard to the pleasure of listening to a familiar song or the childhood tendancy to play the same song on repeat.

  • Jupiter rising in Cancer here… eager to learn and theorize through personal experiences. My moon in Capricorn/7th house is working hard on mediating my Saturn in Aries and Mars in Libra. Being born a few days after a total lunar eclipse in Scorpio – having a close Sun/North node-conjunction in Taurus – also really plays out in my life. Kind of lived several different lives in my lifetime.

  • What always gets me about Cobain is the last song released while he was alive was “I hate myself and I want to die”. A lot of people couldn’t understand why he’d get married at his peak and not choose a better spouse, plus imagined how great being rich and famous was. Yet, it takes the brain a long time to chemically adjust after drug addiction along with a battle with (basically) his employer about in Utero. It was common for musicians to be addicted to drugs fighting labels who’d state the artist was worthless without them. Reportedly true, Courtney Love sided with Geffen that the album was trash which likely did contribute. Revisited this one finishing up studying the psychological significance of Lilith in terms of archetype since it’s in conjunction with Jupiter cancer 11th. I will eventually look into how it’s being used in astrology where I may gender neutralize it (a little). The dream that officially shifted me to Jung was a dream mentioned in comments before which was of “anima” but specifically “lilith”. Large empty house (think Tim Burton gothic weird) in a secluded mountain/forest area where a woman was sitting in an also empty attic looking into a light. In the light she could see people looking at themselves in the mirror. “Modern women, the daughters of Eve, fre- quently encounter their Lilith nature in the mirror. In fact, the Zohar refers to Lilith as the unclear mirror of prophesy (Zohar I 24a). As Isaac Bashevis Singer writes: There is a kind of net that is as old as Methuselah, as soft as a cobweb and as full of holes, yet it has retained its strength to this day.

  • As a Sun-Mercury in Cancer, I really enjoyed this show. My whole life I have heard people say I am too nice, too soft, etc. although that may also relate to my Sun-Mercury trine Neptune as well. I think that teariness and crying jags are a thing with Cancers too whether out of joy or sadness. Also an affinity for animals because we can feel empathy for all sentient beings, not just human beings. Many thanks for this thoughtful exploration of Cancer.

  • As a Capricorn with Saturn in Cancer I feel like I attract Cancer energy especially Cancer Moons into my life. And, unfortunately, I find them difficult to deal with. One one hand, Cancer is supportive, genuine but passive and timid and on the other hand it’s a psychological nightmare filled with gaslighting and emotional manipulation. Cancer energy never is mid. It’s always at one extreme of the spectrum. I hate to say it but I keep alert around Cancer energy now.

  • Speaking of time and dreams – one method I’ve utilize in lucid dreaming is when I have felt that I’m awake in a dream but unsure if I have control of the dream space to confirm it’s a lucid dream I will ask “what time is it” and if there is no response (which there never is) then I know I’m dreaming and I begin my lucid journey. You can not read or tell time in a lucid dream space.

  • Thanks to you Chris and your guests for another great episode. I so enjoyed Steph’s commentary about crabs living in the tidal environment and the Moon’s effects.. It took me back to my trip to the ocean after experiencing a transformative dark night of the soul during the ♋ solar eclipse in July 2018. I went to the Pacific to renew myself and saw a crab undulating in the in the waves. Vivid memory. I note how I’ve been swayed by my emotional nature. 💙🌙

  • I enjoyed the US birth chart example because I never payed attention to how “cardinal” the country is. Even the constitution is vague where it’s an idea to work on/towards where many expect it to be kind of a “fixed” quality. You can often reduce anything “founding fathers” as being “we’ll figure it out later”. 108 caught my attention, I know nothing about it, but looked it up. 11:08 and 11/08 is what pushed me into astrology reluctantly (in large part) which ties to cancer placements. That stems from synchronicities in the middle of a gemini zodiacal release (spirit) where I finally started deep diving into it 9 years later.. that was a few months into spirit cancer release with Jupiter 11th, moon in Aquarius with Saturn 1st which is sign based square 10th. Significance is gemini release with that square is very important with natal moon that’s (of course) tied to Jupiter cancer 11th. “What’s wrong with that Jupiter?” played a heavy part in deep diving. 1108 makes more sense than 108 in my part because that is tied to 4th and 7th house. Anyways, 1 tends to be about “self” or physical self, 0 is often symbolic of wholeness and 8 tends to be death/rebirth cycle, but 8 makes sense with moon in regards to the snake symbolism of the moon shedding the shadow. Not at all saying that’s the 108 symbolism, glancing at it I have no idea. I like intuition by the Beebe model of the mbti where intuition actually functions by an overly sensitive (unconscious) extroverted/introverted sensing function.

  • Crab is kark in sanskrit.. to explain Bhakt means devotee . As per hinduism bhakt is powerful enough for the devoted (God) to listen to the devotee.. There is no notion of God being superior. It is relationship of deep love between bhakt (Devotee) and God. Demarcating between who is who becomes impossible to decipher as it is one

  • Cancer Moon Mars Jupiter and (ceres) in the 8th. SOOO much I resonate with! words I would use: defensive, protective, deep, nostalgic, music, intuitive, empathic, passive aggressive, moody, nurturing, stubborn, polarity I also have a Scorpio rising, and a Libra stellium in the 10th Sun, Mercury, Pluto, NN. I literally feel like 2 people in one body. I am super sensitive to energies of ALL kinds. A few astrologers have said I have a very interesting chart. I definitely feel like a loner. lol

  • Cancer Sun/Mercury here – and married to an Aries no less haha. I LOLed so hard at some points of the episode because I felt so nailed down and read to filth. Also, so eerie to see fellow crabs displaying my favorite colors and citing my favorite authors! But what I came here to say (and yes, we’re talkative) is: thank you so much for telling the real Cancer story! 🕸️🌕🦀

  • Thank you so much for this episode!! Saturn in Cancer 12H. Ruler of the 12th in the 9H conjunct Jupiter in Aries. Some key words I experience are- a love of time and talking about it. Everything ‘Father Time’ themed has always captivated me. (mercury conjunct Venus in Aquarius 7H) Love of learning and of humanity and its evolutionary process in a removed way. Surviving death. Responsibility in ridiculous ways that most don’t seem to even consider and which always works best behind the scenes. (Sun in Pisces 8H)

  • Enjoyed this episode as I am enjoying them all. I have a grand water trine in my chart (♋Mars ♏Moon, Neptune ♓Jupiter) but even I find cancers I know closely to be both more emotional and also tougher than I am by nature. I’m grateful for my Mars placement as I feel it made me a fierce loving mama in raising two children on my own.

  • Crabs on the beach practice repetition (practice!) by digging out their tunnels…walking sideways with an arm full of sand to dump at the end of a little worn in path. Cancer rising with Mars at 29 degree (Leo sun/Libra moon) Overall my chart is a bowl shape and my reoccurring dreams are of the shore (often with deep drop offs and high dunes) this podcast felt like a copy, a reflection of what I think/feel I’m putting out into the world. I’m looking forward to the Leo episode!

  • Cancer not sad like Saturn – but can WHINE a lot. I was married to a Cancer Sun who was a great cook, liked to nest at home, worked from home, had a lot of friends, and who whined a lot, was moody. Most Cancers I know talk a LOT – as much as Geminis – and love to associate with family – or any group that is their tribe.

  • I really appreciate this discussion as I’ve only ever had the ability to have my chart analyzed once. Prior to that issues would always arrive to interfere—as if I should not know my life purpose at that time. I have my Sun in Cancer, Mercury in Cancer, Saturn in Cancer, North Node in Cancer and MC in Cancer. Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and North Node all in the 10th house. I teach mother/baby and have spent years working with birth and breastfeeding. It took 34 years, however, for me to get there. Can only assume it was/is my purpose.

  • let me just make a point, don’t be fooled to believe that just because this magnificent creature dwells in the most turbulent and constantly moving waters are being tossed around pay very good attention they can withstand hurricane turbulence and hold on tight and get to where their destination once they decide to give a go they go all the way! just saying.

  • 1:34:00 Scorpio past life transformation journey. Lets not forget the intuitive water signs that come here to be of service to the Heavy Air. We are here to evolve out souls desires are we not? If we don’t connect to our intuition and work at connection to our Higher Council then we can go to sleep mentally in this thick air and not truly shift the circles of time / events that get us stuck in aloop of experiences of Karmic events that play out the same script but different actors throughout our lives, and not Dhamic soul expression of the gifts we are here to share with younger souls going through the same Karmic Loops in their life experience. I have Topocentric Pisces in 5th with Mars and Jupiter and Tropical 5th house Aries with Mars and Sun and Jupiter at 29 degs. It has made perfect sense to me today that may life is about stopping ancestral NPD being passed onto my own sons. Even at a DNA level this is a Karmic events that with great Mothering and Matrimony contracts (8th house) I did not see in my past. But see its clarity now. And have taken 27 yrs to complete this transit. 7 of which have been Dark Night of the Soul experience and go nesting to Etheric Realms. Everything Is Energy. Everything. Cancer knows his better then any other celestial sign. Its her gift to us all. The Beautiful Mother Moon of Alchemical Majestic Timelord.

  • Uranus 28 Cancer H11 square Neptune 29 Libra H 2. This is a generational placement. I see this as a break with traditional mothering role – a certain need to reconcile the role of mother. This makes a trine out sign with natal Moon/Saturn and a partile trine to IC, so there was a sense of duty as a mother and for my mother and a co-present need to break away – want release from the responsibility and perhaps liberation from the legacy of women’s role in general in the family unit. Natal Mars ruling the Scorp IC is exalted in the very patriarchal Capricorn! The square to Neptune in Libra, is that breaking from some traditional way of bonding that must be reconciled with the idealization of partnership and marriage, which in my chart was stable (Venus in Taurus) – but not traditional. Marriage and mothering was going through massive changes when I came of age in the early 70’s. No surprise this square was in place for many.

  • Tom Hanks fun facts: He collects antique type writers He writes nostalgic short stories I share my birthday with Tom Hanks! One year, I sent him a birthday note with a drawing of a type writer. He sent me one back, hand typed. It is framed on my wall, one of my most prized possessions. My mom calls him my BFF haha Best birthday buddy ever !

  • Having ♋️ on my ascendant, with Saturn in my 1st house, 🌞 in ♓️, 🌙 in ♌️, and a ♏️ nn- first of all I can be very confused lol, but also the word ‘roots’ is very 🔑 to me, and also what strikes me is the way 🦀 move- they don’t attack head on, they will walk sideways, to one side then the next, trying to see their object from many angles before contact…

  • Hey there! My name is theadocia, but I’ve always gone by Thea for short. I was born 6/30/1998, a cancer. If you know anything about Greek mythology, and their version of how our being became, there’s a story of ghea (earth) and she had a twin planet (Thea). Well it’s said that earth collides into Thea, and as a result in the rubble our moon was said to be created. I’m not 100% on the story. Would love to hear any knowledge you might have, and your thoughts?

  • 52:29 I made a article about this and how lsd took me into a huge loop cycle. With cancer in my second house holding the moon there and a stellium in my 8th house I do feel the weird magic of the loops and my many troubles used to be deciding what’s real or not with what people where making me feel or what I could easily feel from them that was hidden under the surface

  • I have Capricorn Rising/moon and Sag Sun, Mercury in Scorpio 10th house. I have never been able to relate to a female Cancer zodiac. I can carry a conversation better with a white piece of paper. I work in a call center with 11 other clerks and 3 of them are Cancer. I cannot find anything in common with those 3 clerks. Most of the time I walk away confused because they talk sideways. I do not have any planets in Cancer. This may be the problem….lol. I just find it very difficult to converse with them. Most Cancers take things personally…even COVID lol…I find myself wanting to say to them….we are all going through this its not just you! lol…and they are moody as f@ck. However, the male Cancer’s I find extremely attractive and charismatic. Being a Sagittarius I am very direct and people don’t need to guess what I am thinking so its hard having to read between the lines when they are trying to tell me something. I have found the 3 women that are Cancer’s (that I work with) will melt in a second when someone brings a baby into the office.

  • I’m loving the this series Chris but this one in particular didn’t seem to bring up some of the shadow traits like the others….I’m 43 years old and some of the most horrible people I know are cancer sun… for reasons that you covered but not actually showing where that extreme of it…the cancer knowing how people feel and are can lead to narcissistic behaviour…I have met 4 people cancer sun’s that have controlled others and manipulated them to their will in exactly the way that you have depicted in this episode but to extreme and narcissistic tendency and control of others emotions is very clear…is this just me, or a real cancer thing

  • 14:00. Wow. Syncronistic. Lol. Debate about this Natal Chart, he has two charts. Well I too have two charts. Tropical Im SAGG AC bit Topocentric IM A SCORPIO!! LOL. Cancer 8th house North Node/ Gemini 8th North Node. And Ive gotta say with my Sun either Pisces or Aries, both have shown up with energy awakenings of my psychology and Areas of my life. Its been quiet a ride. Thabks for the conformation . There are no accidents only syncronicities. Thanks Guys. Love the website and the knowledge you share is Top Knotch.

  • Moon (9°) and Midheaven (12°) in Cancer ♋ natally in the 9th. This year’s SR (2022-2023) on July 26..gives me a Cancer stellium with moon conjunct midheaven, Venus and BML in my 9th. I’m excited for all the layers of love and feeling. This year’s SR put my Sun in Leo, Moon in Cancer, and Rising in Libra. Those are also my natal placements …I wonder how often that happens?? Anyone know??

  • Any suggestions on how to get an accurate birth chart reading without my birth time. My birth certificate says I was born early in the a.m. but Mom and Grandma say I was born in the evening during daytime. A general reading for my birth date isn’t accurate enough for me but I struggle knowing the actual time I was born. I want to know my ascendant, midheaven, south node, etc..

  • I have such a difficult time with cancers. They are so self-centered and desire one-on-one partnership, yet lack empathy in a humanitarian lens or the “global good.” If their own individual emotional needs arent met in a relationship, they bail, avoid, and hurt you. They lack deep empathy. Perhaps it is my Aquarius, sagittarius, and scoprio placements….my need for depth, expansion, and open, humanitarian connection…i find this to be THE most toxic sign for me.

  • I have Sun in Cancer, Mercury in Cancer; and the ruler of my chart in Cancer; on the cusp of my 8th house: Jupiter in Cancer. Even Scorpio isn’t this sensitive…seriously. (And they are though) And trust me if it comes to it: if you screw over Cancers….you can only wish you did the same thing to a Scorpio. Why….? Because you would be beter off. We: Cancers are the Cardinal signs. We might not look tougher than Scorpio’s, but we are. Sorry.

  • Here’s my take – I feel that the astrological signs don’t make much logical sense or emotional sense. There are parts of astrology that I love, though. Don’t get me wrong. My mother is an astrologer and believe me astrology can be pretty amazing with the aspects of the planets, but in terms of the signs, there’s no real authenticity to them a lot of the time, at least when I talk to people about them. If Cancers and Pisces are so vulnerable all the time, wouldn’t THEY have the anger issues and be the “jerks,” so to speak? From life experience and from me myself I know the time that I’ve been the most angry and resentful is the time I feel the most vulnerable. People who feel vulnerable and are called crybabies will eventually have a lot of anger and rage, whereas people who are taught that they are confident and mentally smart are usually more stable and loving because they love themselves since they feel strong, confident and stable. (Which most people say Aries are very strong.) In this case I don’t think those people who are told that would have as much temper and anger issues. To me it’s this area of the signs don’t make sense. There’s a certain rage that comes with feeling vulnerable and being told you’re weak or you cry too much, and it doesn’t make you a “loving” person. It makes you afraid to express love and hardens you. Being told you’re soft and vulnerable and submissive and cry all the time will naturally make you more of a frustrated, tough, and temperamental person as it did to me, because you want to PROVE otherwise eventually and fight back.

  • I am the most non-♋ person there is that has ♋ Sun and Ascendant. My former wife said Astrology is bunkum because I’m so un-♋-like Most people guess me as ♏ or ♒ which l have very strong energy indicated. And internally I’ve felt as much ♍ as ♋. Like my room, workshops I’ve had and teaching classrooms are really, really tidy= ♍ Stellium. My car is an absolute mess. Happy Birthday Moonface (I got in early)

  • As far as she is concerned Cancer is perfect. This constant effort to make Cancer seem perfect and flawless turned me off. You can’t deny the negative traits of your sign. Talk about the need to be praised. Can we mention how manipulative Cancers can be? I love these series but so far this was my least favourite. So dry and defensive.

  • (draws glyph w/skin marker on his hand “you’re mars.” Draws venus glyph on her wrist, “My venus is with your mars somehow in time and space.” tries to move on.. anyway, iWould say that “clingyness” btw happy bday america, love you huge archetype in my life, hate lana del rey & kendrick but oh well, billy gibbons how to make a cancer leave you (“slammed door”) 101 scorpio rising sry, “clingyness” (moon tells me,) is her axis rotation. Earthlings you are her child. hers and the suns. she reflects his attitude & he relies on her but they both absolutely love you! (humans of all time) You’ll never get it right that Defending ones culture is not the same as militarism but humanity suffers the less we Know quote unqwote. “letting go” from pitbull = “piano in the dark” kurtis cobain. Clingy we are she and she is we. push, pull, gravity? aliens? humanity. huge manitee. folks. folk somgs woody guthrie. not seeing that other side! not happening says the moon.
