In astrology, the Moon represents our emotions, innate needs, and the nurturing we received during our formative years. It serves as a mirror reflecting our perception of our mother’s care and comfort. The placement of the Moon in twelve different houses indicates a mother, as it is the mother-image and adaptive principle. The Moon is usually associated with females in the family, such as mothers, aunts, sisters, and the maternal line.
The fourth house in astrology, also known as the “House of Happiness” or “Sukhsthana”, deals with private lives and the image within the home. The Moon is a very fluctuating planet, and it is watery energy. In a birth chart, the moon represents the mother emotionally, which is why beginners often equate the moon to be the mother.
In astrology, the sun and moon are classical representations of the father and mother, respectively. There are astrological houses in a person’s chart, and the Moon sign and house can indicate important dynamics between them and their mother. The 4th house represents our mother, and the power of the 4th house in astrology can help us understand why our mothers are the way they are.
In conclusion, the Moon in astrology represents both the mother and childhood, and its placement in the 12 astrological houses can provide insight into our relationship with our mothers. 📹 Who is your mama?! The Moon is your MOTHER in Astrology with Astrolada & Radostina
Astrologer Radostina talks about the Moon in the different signs/aspects, which describes the different ways children (and grown …
Lada, I am a Scorpio moon and my mother is a Leo moon. I can happily tell you that my perception of her has always been positive. She is a caregiver and recently got a degree in psychology, just like yall were talking about. She heals people on a daily basis, outside of and inside of her job. I was always very close to her. I’ve never had a dramatic fight with her beyond normal rebellious teen spats. Because of my experience, I believe Leo moon can be a really wonderful mother for a Scorpio moon. Scorpio moon children need validation and need to be able to feel like they truly trust their mother. Leo moon mothers take extreme pride in their children, which gives the Scorpio moon child validation. Leo moon mothers are very loyal to their children, which the Scorpio moon child needs immensely. I think you and your Scorpio moon baby are going to have an intense bond
Yes, I have a Moon inAquarius! My mom truly made the world better to everyone else but to me! All other people were more important than me, ever. She teaches me, that whatever the other person wants or needs, it is more important than what I want. Every time I had to set myself aside. If someone was bullying me, my mom laughed. It was so funny in her opinion! Nowadays I do not meet her at all. She did what she did. Maybe she can now spend her rest of life with those all other people who were more important than her own daughter. She can wait mother day-cards from them. She is Aquarius by her Sun sign, Moon in Capricorn. My daughtter has Moon in Cancer. Her Sun is also Cancer. Well, I am Aries. Do you thnk that I don’t teach my child to be independent? But it is, that I protected her from bullies etc. because I was not protected by my mom in upon a time. I wanted to give something that I did not get: Mom’s protection and attention.
I have moon in Scorpio conjunct Jupiter. My mother is a foreigner, she has an accent. She also introduced me to Astrology, metaphysics, life after death etc at a young age. We both continue to learn and explore these subjects together. To me a child with Scorpio moon will view the Mother as someone who has secret information. Who knows about life/death issues.
I have a Libra moon. Both of my parents were Libra suns. I have an Aqua sun and my husband is a Scorpio sun. We had Aires, Virgo and Libra sun kids . All had Scorpio moons. Our Libra son had a 10*moon and 15* degree Jupiter in Scorpio(5th house) He died suddenly and unexpectedly at age 25 .His death left our family reeling. The pain was so deep.Losing him was so difficult and what also tore me up was that I couldn’t shield my other two from the pain. My north node is in Scorpio in the 8th house .He also died in the month of Nov.- Scorpio. I took up Astrology in part to help me come to some kind of peace and understanding. 10 years have passed and his visitations are few and far between. I know that your former guest Stojanovic said that 15* in the natal chart could be predictors of death. Ironically my Libra moon is 15*. Anyways life is short so make it sweet. Blessings to you and your little guy.
My mom’s an ♒. I’m the ♈ 🌒, ♋ ⛅. She didn’t teach me how to be competitive. More like she’d talk down anything I got involved in. Completely unsupportive. Even the other things. Like open house presentations, graduations,,,& The things I got involved in? Was to stay away from her! I just felt like on the surface, I was the active kid, that grew up in the suburbs. Like this typical American picture. But I had to do what I had to do to get by, even then. On the inside, it was a lot of turmoil. I must be good at frontin’ things… Anyway, I don’t doubt it’s been extremely hard for her growing up. In ways, I do see her as the humantarian. She was a refugee. Yet did paperwork for the gov. My dad was in the medical field. They were young when they had my bro in a Thailand camp. I was born in fl. I don’t mean to take away from that at all. But I never looked up to her either, personally. She was awkward, spacey, emotionless & selfish. I’m not bossy, I learned violence through her & the likes & I saw her as a child. I actually liked getting up w/ her in the mornings to go grocery shopping. bc I deep down just wanted to be close to her. But we’d sit in the car in silence. And I’d be screaming in my head, “I’m your daughter. The same daughter you’ve had for yrs. How do you not know how to talk to me? Or is it a complete lack of willingness?” So I’d just stare out the window. Even when I was little, I’d wanna bug her in the kitchen. I just wanted to be a part of her, & she paid me no mind.
Take heart, Lada, my oldest daughter has Leo Sun/Scorpio Moon. Despite her Leo rising, she projected that Scorpio Moon intensely–if you got her to giggle, coo and laugh, it was a real victory. Her older Cancerian brother also has a Scorpio Moon (but her younger sister ended up Aries Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury/Asc!). As an adult she’s engaged her Leo/Scorpio by studying sociology and also being a personal trainer. This was lots of fun to listen to!
Spot-on!! I have moon in Aquarius and in 8th house as well as Uranus in the 4th, and just as you said, “the mother is not there”, she died unexpectedly, in her sleep, much to everyone’s in shock. And I have Chiron in the 10th, so that is my pain, my wound forever. Everything’s written in our charts. Astrology is God speaking to us.
Very nice show. The only thing is that sometimes the viewpoints were one sided. Each Moon no matter what has a higher and lower energy. For example a Taurus Moon could also be perceived as being materialistic or possessive or only about caring about her own comfort. This side of Taurus was not mentioned. A good astrologer must be as objective as possible to be of use.
I have a Taurus moon. My mother passed away back in 2015 but I still wanted to watch. It’s interesting because my mom did provide everything that I needed and I’ve always said that she gave me such freedom to be exactly who I was and figure it out in my own way at my own pace. That is something I will always appreciate. She wasn’t much of a baker and unfortunately we didn’t have such a great relationship but it was interesting to learn about the moon and its relationship to the perception of the mother. Thankyou! 😊
I have moon in Scorpio 29 dg. Just before I was conceived a dramatic family tragedy occurred- 2 family members died in a fire, same house as my parents and siblings. So death- and it affected my childhood a lot, and the relationship with my mother, she was emotionally absent and in a deep long crisis. I myself practice shamanic healing. And I had a kundalini awakening. Bless my family and I love my Scorpio moon💜💜🙏
Very informative ♡ Lada, my daughter is opposite of your son, she got the moon in Aquarius and 4th house cusp in Scorpio. I am definitely the mom out of the box, close in age- people always assume we are sisters. I specialize in astrology, healing and other out of the box modalities. I helped her heal as well and we are very deeply connected. I am also extremely independent. I almost died at one point so she had to witness that too.
My son’s already told me they will grow old with me .. they are 20 and 16 Taurus moon Cancer moon .I’m cancer sun Gemini moon .My mother was like a neighbour hood watch queen …always knew the latest …she is young at heart.I am big on family unit and laughter cooking /eating …Im 40 in a short while but forever 29!
