  • I’m sorry but some of those slam tackles are straight borderline child abuse. There’s no reason for that much aggression. Some of this behavior would literally be called as unnecessary roughness in a real game. Sure the mascots are handicapped by their costume and can’t run as fast or whatever, but when they catch the kid, they are still an athletic adult body applying some adult strength. With how easy it is to get concussions, the extra unnecessary aggression is just retarded. It doesn’t take nearly that much force to tackle a kid. It’s like just ease up a little bit and you still have the same fun
