❤ every point ! I went to a local church. The first time I had a weird feeling, but went again because it is so close, I can walk there. Both times, the energy was like a nightclub. Neon lights. No daylight. Black interior. Huge TV screens with the words on. Singing in a way that was emotionally stirring but in a agitated way. Then a small antidote with gossip, by the leader. Then a testimony about money (both times) then the Tithe. Then everyone leaves. The second time I saw people taking something out of a basket at the back. It was tiny vials of wine. This was the supposed to be the blood of our Saviour. In a basket at the back, on the way out? The whole experience was weird. Absolutely no fellowship. We arrived and left with barely a word to anyone. Streams of cars coming and then going. There is nowhere to sit and associate. The huge emphasis on Tithe and how we had BETTER do so, or we won’t see the benefits, worse, we will suffer financially, was ugly. I luckily found another local church and it was a beautiful fellowship. God showed me the dark and then took me to the light.
I attended a church recently that my relative attends, as her guest. It’s not my own usual church so I didn’t know anyone besides my relative or what to expect. I arrived sooner than my relative and realized only one person came to greet me. There was probably 30 people in that front area….Only one teenager smiled sweetly and said hi, but everyone else was in their friend group and didn’t have time to welcome a newcomer, obviously. I’ve been saved for decades so I didn’t necessarily need that, but they didn’t know that. After standing awkwardly in the foyer I went back to my car to get something and on my way back there were two couples talking in the parking lot. They were plenty old enough to know better. They were obviously leaving from the first service (I was there for the second) and I heard one woman, about 50 years old say out loud “We laughed so hard; right after service (she said another woman’s name) came to me and said during WORSHIP service I couldn’t help looking over at you and all I could think of was how in the world does she keep herself so thin?” Then all four of them, the two women and their husbands laughed like banshees, and I felt such a grieving in my heart that they saw nothing wrong with that especially when they should have been worshipping God when that supposedly occurred. If they’d been teenagers I’d have cut them some slack, even though they’d need to be taught better, but this is sadly the condition of most churches today. When the adults are still acting like children and have absolutely no spiritual depth, something is wrong in that church.

But another issue – if anyone in the leadership, for example a male Senior Pastor, behaves in a sexually inappropriate way towards you or worse, then it’s time to get out, if the other leaders there will not help you and deal properly with this person. I agree with all of the points in this article. I wouldn’t necessarily call it witchcraft, but it is the influence of the Devil. If just one of the points listed is present, then all of the mainline churches, Baptists/Evangelical and most charismatic churches are infected. I’ve been a believer for over 50 years, I’ve taught, preached and pastored in churches of different backgrounds, so I know whereof I speak. May the Lord have mercy on us all.

We must also remember that sometimes, it is not always witchcraft attached to the saints attending or the leadership, but simply put, but those who are not walking with the Lord. Yeah, the one thing about gossip is always that i remind people of, is that if they start talking about other people’s business, i tell them that i didn’t know about it and show through body language that i don’t care or not really interested. Usually people take the hint and move on to another subject. And then when they ask me about people’s personal business and i know about it due to that very person telling me their business in confidence, i always tell people if they want to know, they should ask that person themselves. Because it’s not my right to tell other people’s business without their permission. Meaning that if they don’t care that i tell other people what they told me about it, i tell if i think it’s appropriate. If not, i just don’t, period.

I don’t know if I would go to the level of calling these seven situations as witchcraft. A couple of them could likely qualify, but most of the seven are simply carnal/sinful behavior. Interesting that he did not mention one behavior as witchcraft and that is an allegiance to feminism. I have observed feminism in and out of church for several decades and have done quite a bit of research on comparing the two. I absolutely believe modern day feminism is identical to Old Testament witchcraft.
Of course a “true” church can fall under attack. The seven churches of Revelation were praised and rebuked for various things they did right and wrong, yet were still given the grace to be counted among the seven churches. No sin but defying the saving work of the Holy Spirit and can damn a church or person to hell; every other sin can be forgiven. I don’t think anyone should judge others at church by how they dress as this article suggests; this is the sin of pride. If the true teachings of the Bible are programmed into it then it can detect fake teachings in seconds. Again, the fake guys can use AI to spread their lies. Then of course discriminatory warnings can be used for people to check. Just like original brands issue warnings with marks to check authenticity.
