MagicBands are flexible plastic wristbands that resemble watches or bracelets and come in various colors. They can be purchased directly from Walt Disney World, shopDisney.com, or if you have a Walt Disney World vacation package or resort reservation. Orders placed six to ten days from your trip will be shipped directly to your Disney Resort hotel. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.
MagicBands can be used to redeem FastPass selections, enter Theme Parks, and more. To place an order, sign in to your Disney account and visit My MagicBands and Cards. If you have 10 or more days separating you from your upcoming Disney vacation, you can follow these simple steps:
- Sign in to your Disney account and visit My MagicBands and Cards.
- Find your Disney Resort hotel reservation and select Get Started to place your order.
- MagicBands are shipped within two weeks after purchase. If you place your order within 6-10 days of your check-in date, the MagicBands will be shipped to your hotel. If you wait to order them, they will be shipped to your hotel.
- Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can purchase MagicBands at special pre-arrival prices ahead of their visit. Place your order via My Disney Experience at least 11 days before your arrival and at least 6 days.
- MagicBands are mailed to you when ordered at least 11 days before arrival or you can pick them up at the resort when you check in. UK guests can only buy MagicBands once at the resort.

How much are the MagicBands at pre-arrival?
Disney Resorts Collection hotels offer guests the opportunity to purchase MagicBands or MagicBand+ for a special pre-arrival price. The cost varies depending on the type of band chosen. Examples of current Special Pre-Arrival Prices listed on the Walt Disney World website include a single-color MagicBand+ for $24. 99, a Jungle Cruise MagicBand+ for $34. 99, and a Magic Kingdom Park-themed MagicBand 2 for $24. 99. Some MagicBand+ styles do not qualify for the pre-arrival price and are currently $44.

Can I use a MagicBand from 5 years ago?

However, your MagicBand’s 5-6 year old battery may not be functional and is sealed, making it impossible to change or check at home. If your MagicBands were from mid-2021 or earlier, they might be out of power by the time you visit this fall. The recommendation is to bring your current MagicBands with you and see if they work. If they do, you can use most of what a new MagicBand+ band can do, but not everything. Some interactive adventures may not work with the older bands, but this may not be important to you.
