The Barnstormer is a junior rollercoaster located in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, first debuted in 1996 as part of Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm. In 2011, the park was expanded and the ride revamped. The Barnstormer is a daredevil aerial stunt show where Goofy, known as The Great Goofini, performs his daredevil act. The ride soars high above the Storybook Circus, now featuring Goofy as The Great Goofini. It is specifically designed for children’s rides, with a brief but fast ride of 53 seconds.
The Barnstormer features a small gray classic Hidden Mickey on the farthest right lower plane’s propeller. The attraction train hurtles through the left side of the barn, and the ride length is 1 minute, 3 seconds. The ride is a thrilling experience, with 32 seconds spent in the loading area before being ratcheted up the first hill.
Fly over to The Barnstormer in the Storybook Circus area in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom park. Take flight above Storybook Circus with Goofy and his homemade stunt airplanes for a thrilling, junior roller coaster ride. The Barnstormer is located at the back of the Storybook Circus, near the Fantasyland Train Station and Casey Jr.’s Splash and Soak Station.
The Barnstormer is a fast pass ride that requires no height or age requirement, but it is a great way to experience the world-famous aerial stunt show at Disney World.

I still remember going on this ride with my mom and sister when I was like 5 years old. On the way up the hill, I waved to my grandmother waiting for us down below and then my sister screamed “HOLD ON TIGHT, LYNDSAY!” which I echoed, my mom said, “Here we go!” and my sister and I started screaming before we even started coming down. 😂 Ah, good times.
during my last visit to Disney (2 months ago) I was able to get on this ride because the wait time was like 10 minutes long so so why not right? … And let me tell you this ride was way more fun than what I anticipated it to be!! It looks like it wouldn’t be scary but the height and the speed make it fun! I recommend it on your next trip 🤩 🤩
Back when I was 9, I used to be so scared of roller coasters. Barnstormer was the scariest one. Now that I moved to Florida a year ago, I’ve gone to the parks a lot more. i did Guardians, Tron, etc. But now I needed to face my greatest enemy at Universal Islands of Adventure, VelociCoaster. I rode it for the first time two weeks ago, and that was when I got over my fear of roller coatsers completely at the age of 13. If this inspired you, don’t let fear be in the way of roller coasters. If you are scared of the feeling, just do it. If you are scared the restraints are going to fail, engineers at Disney and Universal are much smarter than you. The make sure that safety comes first. Barnstormer was my first roller coaster of my life.
So my mom took me on a trip to Disney when I was 7 and I thought this was a walk through but NOPE it was a coaster and I begged and begged my mom to not let me go on this but we were too far ahead in line and I ended spending the entire ride screaming and crying. Now at 24 I clearly see this ride is nothing too scary (still don’t like upside rollar coasters).
This coaster is definitely showing it’s age. It’s fairly short and the lap bars suck! The seats aren’t padded at all and have grooves in them. After the last time I went on this I got a headache. I still managed to have a good time though! This was my first ever roller coaster and I loved it as a little kid.
Ok from 01:45 to 02:00 watch that ride op guy be completely DONE with that little girl & her dad. Or maybe he’s having a bad day. Idk. Haha. There are legit three to five ppl in the train – yet he keeps waving his hand at them to hurry up, like there’s a whole line of ppl waiting. You’re waving at one girl and one grown man, not a full train, dude. Just saying. They didn’t even lag getting out of the train, and yet he stares at the girl like “hurry up”, then flounces his hand down and looks like he’s about to lose it! hahaha. It’s all good I’ve been there. Just… not when it’s unnecessary like this… just imagine. I’m not saying he’s really having a bad day, but just picture it!
