In The Wind Waker, Link must donate 1, 000 Rupees to repair a bridge and buy out Chudley’s Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium. After donating 2000 Rupees, the emporium will be purchased, and Link can find items at reasonable prices in Castle Town. Gor Liggs’ son, who fixed the bridge, has become fatigued and cannot move to import Hot Spring Water. Link must return to Kakariko Village and use a Barrel of Hot Spring Water to revitalize his son. He must cross the western field while avoiding enemy attacks, and if successful, the Barrel will burst.

Once he reaches the bridge, Link must throw the Barrel onto the Goron, who will regain his strength and leave a Piece of Heart behind. The buyout goal has lowered to 200 Rupees, making it easier for Link to reach. In The Wind Waker, the Magic Armor will show the outline of Link’s hat when equipped, indicating the clothes are real but invisible.

The “Wind’s Requiem” is a melody that allows Link to control the direction of the wind, but only works outside the overworld. It is crucial in The Wind Waker for navigating the Great Sea Islands and favoring flight with the Deku Leaf. Playing this melody on Wind Crests will create a Treasure Chest, usually containing a Triforce Chart in the Great Sea or a Treasure Chart in some dungeons, similar to “Zelda’s Lullaby” in Ocarina of Time. • 0:37 – A quick tip to save your time regarding the time of day. If you get there and it’s NOT night time, you don’t have to go sailing around until it is like you might think. After you’ve acquired the Wind’s Requiem, you can return to Windfall at any time to learn the Song of Passing by going to Tott who’s dancing on the cliff behind the town. This’ll make you able to turn it to night instantly by using it~

  • RNG=Random-Number-Generated. He’s basically asking if the items are determined by the Moon phases or if it’s just completely random. RNG’s also a term that’s used a lot in Fire Emblem because of the fact that the “chances” such as dodging, criticals, ect. are based on the RNG entirely but are given favors by the stats found in the game. A little off topic I know but it’s a neat thing to know I guess. ^_^;;

  • I got at after maybe 20-25 tries. I first bought the map then the heart piece. By buying the heart piece I took that out of the possibility of showing up. I went in and out of the potion store ( its faster than going in and out of the auction house) breaking the vase with 5 rupees next to the auction house building up my rupees. kept getting the map and finally BOOM!! It showed up. I’m thinking no matter what, its all random but it will show up. Just a matter of when. I say try what I did to anyone having trouble. There’s a good chance it will work.

  • I don’t have the game yet, but i am sure that if you bid 999 on everything you try to get in one foul swoop that the auction guy will say sold. It worked for me on TWW when you get select items that you needed or wanted in that copy of the game. I don’t know if the 999 trick will work in TWW HD but when i get the game i will try it myself and see.

  • FUCKING LOVE THE SWIFT SAIL TO DEATH! FUCK THAT REGULAR SAIL! FUCK THAT CONSTANT USE OF WIND’S REQUIEM! FUCK THAT TEDIOUS SAIL TRAVELING OF THE GAMECUBE ORIGINAL! Sure that auction minigame is annoying as heck trying get that darn Swift Sail since it’s luck-based(I hated Luck-Based Gameplay so much), BUT HOTDAMN GETTING THIS IMPORTANT ITEM IS REALLY WORTH IT SINCE IT’S ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED TO SAIL-TRAVEL FASTER AT THE BREAKNECK-PACE! As someone who hated the sluggish nature of sailing like me, Swift Sail is a godsent. Know my words, Broken Fanbases(Those who prefer traditional sailing & those who hated Wind Waker INCLUDING YOU, GAMETRAILERS WHO GIVE WIND WAKER HD A FUCKING 7.8!)! If you’re perusal this very important article, YOU BETTER TAKE NOTES AT EVERYTHING IN THIS article! YOU BROKEN FANBASES OF WIND WAKER SHOULD KNOW THAT THE SWIFT SAIL IS AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY JUST TO GET THE PACING OF YOUR PLAYTHROUGH FASTER! Because if you don’t get the Swift Sail, you’ll have 3 consequences. 1. You will be so agrravated during sailing without the Swift Sail since it takes FUCKING forever to get to your destination. 2. Without the Swift Sail, you’ll constantly have to use Wind’s Requiem just to make sharp turns giving you tedious pressure & aggravation. 3. If you’re making a playthrough in your articles without a Swift Sail, IT MIGHT GET BORING FOR THOSE perusal YOUR articleS! Do you understand what I’m saying, Broken Fanbases of Wind Waker(I’M LOOKING AT YOU FUCKING GAMETRAILERS!)?
