Which Ffx Spells Ought Each Character To Have?

The Final Fantasy X (FFX) walkthrough and strategy guide by Jegged.com provides a list of the best characters and their abilities, including auto-abilities, magic spells, specials, and skills. Each character starts off in their area on the Grid Sphere, but it is possible to learn every skill and spell from it. For the first playthrough, it is highly recommended to play the “Standard” sphere grid as opposed to the “Expert” grid.

The most useful ability is Use, which can do just about everything else. Provoke and Guard/Sentinel are also useful abilities, as they reduce the cost of all magic. Maria should get spells like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder as she is always in the part and can level them throughout the game. Mind Blast: 720 magic damage to all enemies, inflicts Confusion, Sleep, and Curse (seals Overdrives), each at 50 base hit rate, except Curse which is a disadvantage.

In order for each character to receive points, they must perform an action. For example, have second-tier spells for Lulu before starting her fight. Lulu should skip spells like DEMI and DEATH, but Rikku should take them, as her lower Magic Stat isn’t a liability for those spells. Each character’s starting location on the grid indicates their strengths and weaknesses based on the variety of nodes in their section, though the player can still choose to use them in their fights.

In summary, the Final Fantasy X Best Characters Tier List helps players make the best party possible by identifying the best characters and their abilities. By planning their path and using key spheres, players can maximize their potential and maximize their chances of success.

What Sphere Grid should Kimahri use?

It is recommended that Yuna’s grid be utilized due to its advantageous capabilities that Kimahri can access prior to Yuna’s ability to do so. Additionally, it is compatible with Kimahri’s offensive overdrives, which rely on his Magic stat.

Should I use a standard or expert Sphere Grid?

Final Fantasy 10 has two sphere grids: Standard and Expert. The Standard grid is suitable for character development, but the Expert grid is ideal for those who want to experiment with their characters and builds. The game was initially released with one sphere grid, but was updated with International Version additions. Players are asked to choose between the Standard or Expert sphere grids upon starting the game. The Standard grid has defined roles, while the Expert grid offers more flexibility in character development.

Final Fantasy 10 is an eternal classic, and players should be well-informed about which sphere grid is the right one for them. The article aims to improve readability and make sure players are well-informed about which grid is the right one for their game.

Is Tidus a good white mage?

Tidus, a white magic tool, has a low MP and Magic stat, making its results likely lackluster. Most white magic can be replicated or done better with Use. Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Common causes include the latest version of the Opera browser sending multiple invalid requests to servers for every page visited, using the Brave browser or Ghostery add-on, which send extra traffic to servers for every page visited, and using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary or permanent IP blocks. Some unofficial phone apps use GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser, triggering anti-spambot measures. Continued use of these apps may cause IP block indefinitely.

There is no official GameFAQs app, and there is no contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Using scripts or add-ons that scan GameFAQs for box and screen images, running a “scraper” or “downloader” program, using poorly configured browser add-ons for blocking content, or overusing the search engine can also cause IP blockage. If you promise to stop, your connection will be unblocked for now, but re-blocked if additional bad behavior is detected.

To maximize your damage potential, invest in the right-most skills in the first three tiers of the Stalker tree, such as Furious Attack and Overclocked, which provide early damage and make you more survivable while on the move. Next, focus on the Hunter tree, starting from Interplanetary Stalker through Ambush Predator to Two F4ng, which is particularly strong with slow-firing high-damage guns like sniper rifles.

Add three points to Persistence Hunter in the Master skill tree for extra damage boost. Continue to Hunter to work your way up to the capstone skill, Megavore, which allows you to crit on any part of your target. Combined with crit-based skills like Leave No Trace, Head Count, The Most Dangerous Game, and Galactic Shadow, you can deal mega-damage with your snipes, especially if you find a strong sniper rifle.

Add a Class Mod that overcharges your Grim Harvest skill to increase gun damage and boost your Rakk Attacks. The duo augments of Flock ‘N Load and Rakkcelerate ensure that enemies not obliterated immediately by your sniping will last no time against the bombardment of your Rakks.

Does rikku have a crush on Tidus?

Rikku and Tidus seem to be good friends, but Tidus admits his feelings for Rikku in a scene in Guadoselam. Despite her shortcomings, Rikku is a well-liked character and is considered useful in parties. Her mixing abilities, especially when Yuna isn’t in the group, can be helpful for quick heals. Rikku’s stealth abilities are worth the steal, and she kicks butt in every form in Final Fantasy X-2. She is worth leveling up and has some nice items worth stealing.

How old is Lulu ff10?

Lulu, the resident black mage in Final Fantasy X, is a powerful ally on the battlefield and initially reluctant to open up to her fellow party members. She is 22 years old and the tallest of the main female cast at 5’6″ (167cm). Rikku, the Thief archetype, is the youngest member of the party at 15 years old. She is related to Yuna through her father and is the shortest member at 5’2″ (158cm). Lulu’s gentle disposition and willingness to open up to her fellow party members make her a formidable opponent. In Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm, Lulu and Wakka have married and have a child.

What is Tidus’s best skill?

Final Fantasy 10 is a popular video game series by Square Enix, known for its numerous titles and popularity since its release in 1987. The game, which has been added to Xbox’s Game Pass, features Tidus, a cocky protagonist who helps others. Final Fantasy 10 follows the story of Tidus, an athlete from another world, on his quest to protect Summoner Yuna. Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, both in battle and canonically. The ranking of playable characters based on power level is provided.

The resident Black Mage, initially essential due to her elemental spell-casting, becomes less valuable as enemies lose elemental weaknesses. How many playable characters in ff10?

Final Fantasy X is a game featuring seven main playable characters, including protagonist Tidus, a skilled blitzball player from Zanarkand who becomes lost in the world of Spira after encountering Sin. He joins the summoner Yuna, who travels to defeat Sin alongside her guardians, including Kimahri Ronso, Wakka, Lulu, Auron, and Rikku. The leader of the Guado tribe, Seymour Guado, briefly joins the party but is revealed to be an antagonist in his quest to replace Tidus’ father, Jecht, as Sin.

Final Fantasy X-2 features Yuna, Rikku, and Paine as playable characters in their quest to find spheres across Spira and find clues about Tidus’ current location. They meet Paine’s former comrades, who are related to the spirit of an avenger named Shuyin. The Square staff faced challenges in creating these characters, as Final Fantasy X was the first game in the franchise to feature voice acting and featured multiple tribes from different parts of Spira with distinctive designs. Despite mixed responses to English voice acting, X-2’s dub received a better response.

Tetsuya Nomura was the character designer for Final Fantasy X and X-2, designing the characters with an Asian look. He first illustrated the characters’ faces and added details upon receiving information from the staff. The hardest part of his work involved making the characters’ clothes identical between full motion scenes and in-game.

Did Tidus and Yuna end up together?

In Final Fantasy X-2, Yuna is a member of the Gullwings, a group of sphere hunters, along with her cousin Rikku and the silent Paine. The Gullwings go separate ways before the game’s opening, but Yuna returns to Besaid Island and reunites to explore a newfound tower. She journeys to Spira to find the truth behind a sphere containing a video featuring a man resembling Tidus in prison. During her journey, she discovers that the man from the sphere was actually Shuyin, a spirit who wants to destroy Spira in revenge for his lover, Lenne. Yuna possesses a sphere from Lenne that allows her to replicate her singing and wishes to stop Shuyin’s revenge.

With the help of Paine’s former comrades, the Gullwings defeat Shuyin, who departs to the afterlife with Lenne’s spirit sealed in the sphere Yuna kept. Depending on the player’s progress, the Fayth may revive Tidus so she can reunite with him. The game’s HD Remastered version adds a new audio drama where Yuna becomes part of the Yevoners group, whose main temple is on Besaid.

In Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, Yuna appears as one of the characters summoned by the goddess Cosmos to participate in a war against her rival, Chaos. She retains her memories from X and tries to make Tidus join her cast, but is later killed by The Emperor. Yuna has an alternative design based on Yoshitaka Amano’s illustration and a wedding dress from FFX.

Outside the Final Fantasy series, Yuna appears in Kingdom Hearts II as a pixie along with Paine and Rikku. She is also featured in the board game-style video game Itadaki Street Special and represents Final Fantasy X in the rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.

  • Coming from someone who literally thought I’d never finish the chocobo race with 0 seconds… don’t give up.. it took me approx 18 hours or over 500 attempts. Spent two full days and almost just side lined tidus… but finally I did it. Lol I still haven’t even attempted lulu celestial sigil.. but u don’t even need it because yuna is a great dark mage anyways.

  • For anyone stuck fighting the dark aeons: use Yojimbo, pay him the amount that would make him use zanmato, it will instantly one shot. It will take a few attempts, since sometimes the dark aeon gets first move. As for shiva, to counter her high agility, get First Strike/move on Yuna’s weapon. I beat all of them this way. It’s costly, but it works

  • I’ve seen a bunch of guides where people think resetting data is the only quick way to change the league prizes. That’s not true. You can simply restart the game or do a quick reset by holding down start, select, L1, L2, R1 and R2. This trick was in the official guide that I bought when the original game released, so I don’t know how it got forgotten by everyone. You can only use this if you haven’t played any games in a new league, so just save your game once a league season finishes, go into the Blitzball menu and if you don’t like the prizes, use the button combo reset. This works for tournaments too.

  • Great article, quick info on Wakka’s weapon; Unless it was patched out you can get the Jupiter Sigil and all of Wakka’s overdrives in 4-5 leagues by playing blitzball until its ready to reset and quitting out of blitzball straight after the game without seeing the main blitzball menu. At this point save and go back in to blitzball. If the league doesn’t have an overdrive or the sigil then quit without saving and try again. It will continually roll the prizes at this point so you can get everything in the least time possible.

  • I can’t believe how difficult it was for me to complete this this task for the celestial weapons and grind for the correct rings,it took me 2 gameplays just to learn and complete the Al bed alphabet just to run the 3rd gameplay without collecting the translation. This on my 3rd gameplay, Next was certain areas to research on the sigils location I never knew was in my face . I’m subscribing just to watch the wonderful memories of these games I had difficulty with but thanks for the notes on the remastered version. Edit : blitzball was so addictive I spent most of my time trynna perfect the strategy, hire the best offensive and defensive players throughout Spira and wanting to master as many skills on tech copy, loved this Mimi game .

  • I just bought the X / X2 HD Remaster from steam for $11 and I was really surprised at how great it looks and plays today. I jacked all the in game graphics settings to max, bumped up the gpu settings for the game to max, and the resolution can go up to whatever your monitor is so I am playing it on a 2k monitor and it looks like it could have been a relatively recent game and not something I played as a child.

  • -So…from what reviewed on this guide for ultimate/celestial weapons, Wakka, Kimahri, and theoretically, Auron, can have fully powered celestial weapons before the Yunalesca fight. Wakka being the the technical earliest of them all and you can get Attack reels in the process. Basically the character with the best ultimate attack and being the technical earliest to have a fully powered celestial weapon. For Auron I’m not sure if you can back track on foot to fully power his.- -Tldr: Wakka, Kimahri, and Auron can technically have fully powered ultimate/celestial weapons before the Yunalesca fight. Not sure for Auron though as I don’t know if you can’t backtrack for him after the second Seymour fight after getting the Rusty Sword. But definitely you can try for Wakka the (technical) earliest and Kimahri as second before Yunalesca.- -Edit: For Wakka…yeah I just reviewed the article on Wakka. Yeah…needing for him to participate in battles for his ultimate attacks in Blitzball is going to be tedious. But if you have the patience to count each random encounters to up to 450-500 before passing the Mi’hen Highroad, then you’re basically guaranteed to on your way to get Wakka fully powered during the Calm Lands section. Kimahri would be the second. Good thing I have the patience since I’m a shiny hunter in Pokemon. That and just in general of knowing what I want.- -Edit: Nvm. Wakka needs the mirror to get his weapon. So basically Kimahri is technically the earliest for convenience of back tracking back to the forest to power up his Celestial weapon.

  • I played FFX back in 2001 and got Yuna, Rikku, Auron, and Kimahri’s CWs (with a bit of struggling on butterflies but otherwise easy.) I TRIED the whole chocobo thing but hours later i was just frustrated beyond belief! Same with lightning dodging, and I didn’t even try Wakka 😹😹😅 I have never gotten those three’s CW. And I don’t think I ever will. Games are supposed to be enjoyable and I refuse to do unpleasant grueling tasks for hours and hours. I’m playing on the Switch now, trying to gear up for Dark Aeons for the first time (as I only played an original PS2 copy ever) and I only got Yuna, Auron and Rikki’s CW! They are my dream team and are currently stat maxing in the Monster Arena. I might give them each of their minigames another attempt but it’s just so miserable!

  • 4:00 (5:00), 6:00 (6:30), (13:00), (16:30 – 17:00), ((18:00)) (19:17), (21:00 – 22:40), 23:00 (24:40) can be acquired before your 1st trip to the top of Mt Gagazet, btw. (No airship required!) Don’t be a slacker or stupid; in some cases, this will ruin your game if you don’t get the work done early. celestrial weapons can be acquired: Tidus, Yuna, and Kimahri, but traveling back to before Guadosalom is impossible (story reasons, traitor!) or blocked by progression of a questline like “become a hero by clearing your name with a Maester on a holy mountain” and killing a villain for the third time (groan).

  • Awesome article! Thanks for the effort you put into this article, this is really going to help me get all weapons this time round. I’m playing the remastered version on ps5 now and I first played this on my brother’s ps2 back in the day when this game got me so addicted (it’s still one of my all time favorite games). Now with your guidance I can finally get every characters weapon!

  • I actually LIKED playing blitzball in this game. After getting a few key players and passing the ball to Tidus ALOT, he becomes very powerful and pretty unstoppable. I send Tidus and the mid 3 in, pass to a good passer in the back, when Tidus gets to goal, pass to him, jecht shot and GOOOOOOOAL! Rinse and repeat

  • having done all the celestial weapons on the PS2 version of the game back in 2011 which them taking a good chuck of my complete 350 hour save file and also redoing them for HD remaster years after I can honestly say if I ever do them again on pc after doing a Final Fantasy Marathon whenever the pixel remasters of 4-6 come out on steam I will probably use a cheat engine or something because boy are these annoying to do.

  • I played it on ps2 back in the day. Got some of the weapons. Tidus, lulu were the ones I really remember. Then 2-3 years ago I got them again. On a ps2 emulator. This time on the switch so far the best I got was 0.5 seconds on the race and I’m terrible at dodging lightning. And now since I missed it I guess a dark aeon is guarding the sun crest. Lol. Hopefully yojimbo will one shot him too.

  • Great article, I have unlock tidus and rikku weapon already thanks to your article, but I don’t understand what u mean by Auron monster catching, your explanation went over my head, what are conquest and are species conquest? These terms has nothing to do with the unlocking weapon, it should been simple to collect these area monsters, and I already catch monsters from many areas but didn’t got anything from the Npc

  • i just found out they made a sphere grid randomizer (randomizes where the stats and abilities are, does not change any of the stats though, had ultima right by the start of yunas grid, not enough mp to use it for shenanigans though), so i started a new playthrough, and wouldn’t you know it i beat it and now i want to stat grind. got tidus’ sigil in 5-7 tries, got wakkas, yunas and aurons full celestials too. lulus sigil can stay right there in the thunder plains though. now to stat grind some more

  • “This game is the most luck-based of all the minigames” in regards to Chocobo Catcher It’s barely luck-based at all, once you know that there are only so many balloon formations and where birds spawn from. The fact that long-time players can always get below 0 in just a few attempts is proof it’s far less “luck-based” and more based on preparation, knowledge, and skill.

  • My ever pressing question is why 0h Why did they change the regal look of Kimahri’s Spirit Lance that I earned and powered up in the North American original game release, when FFX first came out? His Celestial weapon had such a more ornate aesthetic to it, than the rather plain, ho hum look of the spear as it is now. Just wondering if there is a reason behind the change, that you’re aware of? Thank you for this great information, otherwise!

  • Yunas. – I got both items to unlock magus sisters I have the celestial mirror. nothing. Im about to do the airship fly to sin. However both the key items dont even show in my inventory….i get bugged and am now locked from her max celest? Im playing on steam. I rebeat all 5 intial aeons to make sure. no item I already had it. same for arena.

  • I genuinely don’t think there’s been a more enjoyable game in history. It’s aged like a fine wine and anyone who’s played the game keeps coming back to it over 20 years later. Square absolutely peaked here and there hasn’t been a final fantasy game that slaps like this does. 12 was fantastic but not as good as 10.

  • i had no problem with the minigames but chocobo race is so annoying bc of the rng but still easy, the 200 lightning dodges is super boring but hella easy, i really liked blitz ball so it was kinda cool but boring bc you need fight 450 times, kimahri’s celestial weapon is unfair. (btw i got all celestial weapons in 5 hours+10-15 hours for blitz ball bc i was learning everything)

  • Just a quick question. Does the weapon have to be upgraded both times for the aeon to break the damaged limit. For example does yuna’s nirvana have to be upgraded with both the moon sigil AND moon crewt before valefor to break the 9999 damage limit or does it only have to be the one upgrade because I REALLY REALLY DON’T want to dodge 200 lightning bolts in a row

  • Played this and still couldn’t beat it in 04’ my dad got me x2 and I cleared it in 2 years lol I got t he remake now on my switch and I’m stressed but happy because it brings back so many memories lol everytime I get mad I’m like nope I gotta clear it 😂😂 any tips would be helpful 💜 I’m trying to get all the aeons for the first time 😅

  • My only issue is the chocobo racing.. Well to be more precise, I’m playing on my PS Vita and those tiny nubbies they call joysticks are traaash. Dusted off my PS2 and loaded up my old file from like 15 years ago and played the chocobo race there. got 0.0.0 after about 10 minutes(okay maybe more like 30-45min). Caladbog is all that stands between me and Platinum but those controls suck too bad! I go back and spend a few hours trying to get 0.0.0 on the vita from time to time but its been a few years now.

  • Tip …1 of my playthrus i got the 0.00 time on my 1st try didn’t get the sigil, got the shitty 1st prize instead, had to do it again. On 1 playthru i got the sigil but the guy at the cliff didn’t move.Had to beat it again …..Arrrrrrrghhhh! Tidus CW aquirement is kinda not explained properly, thnk god i actually like the chcobo races.

  • Replaying this masterpiece again, last time I play this games years ago and only weapon I got was tidus and I shockingly completed the chocobo race only 3 try, I never ever knew that race is nightmare for many people 😅, now I’m worry about it though, I have to say blitzball game I didn’t play in the past and still right now I find that game just horrible time westing mini game, so no way I’m gonna get Waka weapon,😂
