The 1992 law mandating the release of documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was passed due to the intense interest in Kennedy conspiracy theories. Over fifty years after Oswald shot Kennedy, it remains unclear why he shot the president, fueling countless conspiracies. Former Secret Service agent Paul Landis claims he took a bullet from the car. President Joe Biden has completed his “final certification” of files to be released regarding Kennedy’s assassination, but 4,684 documents are still kept.
The National Archives has concluded its review of classified documents related to the 1963 assassination of Kennedy, with 99 of them being released. The CIA has stated that the US spy agency had “never engaged” Oswald and did not withhold information about him from the US. The federal government has released a fresh trove of documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, a turning point in American history and the subject of persistent conspiracy theories.
Despite the release of thousands of never-before-seen documents, the case of Kennedy’s assassination continues to fuel conspiracy theories despite the official conclusion that he was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. The FBI and CIA continue to protect their sources from six decades ago.
In other news, Kenyans vote in a highly fractious repeat election, with opposition leader Raila Odinga not participating. The UK’s Brexit vote is also ongoing.

📹 Will new JFK assassination files put an end to the conspiracy theories?
IN THE WORLD PAPERS – Thursday, October 26: We look at the Thai press as the country prepares to bid farewell to its “divine” …
Living in Boston, I have been viewing and hearing the pompous and condescending commentaries of Jon Keller for years. In this one Mr Keller is his usual smug and condescending self, telling us that the more educated one is the less one believes in conspiracy theories. How about the more one reads and listens to real researchers and the more one learns him or herself, the more one learns about how the evidence all contradicts the lone gunman absurdity and the Warren Commission’s nonsensical single bullet theory. Mr. Keller comes across as someone who has barely looked into the JFK assassination beyond reading the Vincent Bugliosi book of half truths which fails miserably to prove anything except how they will say anything to prove the lone nut gunman theory. I wish I could ask Jon Keller why he thinks that the CIA has been doing everything possible to withhold files from us for 50 plus years, unless they might possibly have a lot to hide?
