Wow Classic When Do Mages Receive Teleport Spells?

Portal trainers are unique to Mages and teach the spells needed to learn Teleports and Portals. Teleports transport only the mage and are available at levels 20 and 30. Portals transport both the mage and every member of the mage’s party, and are learned at levels 40 and 50.9 Nov 2023.

A complete searchable and filterable list of all Mage Abilities in World of Warcraft: Classic is available. Each Mage gets a Teleport or Portal spell every 10 levels starting at level 20. Teleports require a reagent (Rune of Teleportation) and are available at levels 20 and 30. When using mage teleport spells, the mage will appear in the capital city facing the portal trainer of that city.

You learn by your race’s Portal Trainer. In Stormwind, players appear in the capital city facing the portal trainer of that city. Each Teleport spell is trained at a portal trainer, usually located near the mage trainers in a major city. In Shattrath, the neutral portal trainer is the neutral portal trainer.

At level 21, as a mage, you get a basic teleport, which looks like to your home city. Teleport is a mage ability that allows for teleportation to various cities and is a container spell for the various other Teleport spells that can be learned. There will be four leveling phases for Season of Discovery, each with a new level cap. Some abilities and talents will not be available until higher levels.
