Astrology: How To Determine Your North Star?

To access your birth chart, enter your date of birth, birth location, and birth time in an online birth chart calculator. Alternatively, find your North Node by comparing your birth date with a North Node date table, which tracks when the sun and moon intersected in each sign throughout history.

The North Node is not the ascendant (rising sign) but two mathematical points located directly opposite each other in your birth chart. An astrologer shares how to interpret your north node and south node, reflecting your destiny and comfort zone. Studying this point in your Natal Chart gives you a macro-level perspective, helping you understand how your unique traits help you fulfill a specific purpose.

In your astrology birth chart, there are two zodiac signs and houses the lunar nodes. The North Node represents our karmic journey and the South Node represents our comfort zone. A free birth chart calculator can help you find your North Node by entering your birth date, time, and location into a nodal generator.

Lunar nodes serve as a spiritual compass, pointing us in the direction of our deepest fulfillment. Astrologers use the lunar nodes to determine where your destiny lies (north node) and what you were in past lifetimes (south node).

In summary, understanding your birth chart and the North and South Nodes is crucial for personal growth and understanding your destiny. By using a free birth chart calculator or a nodal generator, you can easily identify your North and South Nodes and gain a macro-level perspective on your life path.

How do I find my personal North Star?

To find your North Star, reflect on your passions, assess your strengths and talents, and identify how to contribute to the world. In a complex world, having a “North Star” and a moral compass are crucial. The North Star guides vision, while the moral compass guides ethical decisions. These metaphors represent our guiding principles and ethical frameworks, helping us navigate life’s challenges and decisions while remaining true to ourselves and our values. In the ever-changing and complex world, having a North Star and moral compass is essential.

How can you identify the North Star?

Polaris can be found on clear nights by observing the Big Dipper, which has two stars on its “cup” pointing towards Polaris, the tip of the handle of the Little Dipper or the tail of the little bear in the constellation Ursa Minor. Facing Polaris indicates north orientation, helping in stargazing. The Southern Hemisphere lacks a bright star marking the south celestial pole, so observers can use the Southern Cross constellation to find due south.

Astrology. com offers free birth charts for individuals with specific information, while apps like Co-star, Reha, and Sanctuary provide detailed explanations. Planets, which can be one, a few, or none, are considered the seasoning of houses, ruling a zodiac sign that they enjoy. The sun represents ego, determination, and will, orbiting all signs of the zodiac in a calendar year. The moon changes signs every two and a half days, representing emotions, memories, and a sense of security.

It also shows how we nurture ourselves and can help find a relaxing way to decompress. By incorporating the moon’s placement in your chart, you can learn to embrace lunar phases and reduce stress by harmonizing with its rhythms. Overall, understanding your zodiac sign can provide valuable insights into your life and personal growth.

How do I check my star signs?

Zodiac sign dates are based on the zodiac, which is a sign that represents the individual’s personality and can influence their relationships and behavior. The zodiac can be influenced by various factors such as Aries (March 21 – April 19), Taurus (April 20 – May 20), Gemini (May 21 – June 21), Cancer (June 22 – July 22), Leo (July 23 – August 22), Virgo (August 23 – September 22), Libra (September 23 – October 23), and Scorpio (October 24 – November 21). What is my karmic North Node?

The North Node represents the soul’s purpose and experiences for this lifetime, guiding every experience and influencing one’s vocation. It acts as a beacon, guiding every experience and helping spiritually move forward. The South Node describes events from past lives, setting up subtle energy dynamics that reappear during stress. Understanding the energy of the South Node helps identify areas that need less focus. Drawing on past lessons can help in this lifetime, but the energy on the North Node drives forward.

Swimming between situations that remind you of your karmic past and opportunities that move you forward into your karmic destiny can be a natural part of life. By embracing the experiences and qualities of the North Node, you can navigate the challenges and opportunities that come your way, ultimately leading you towards your spiritual growth.

How to find your placement in astrology?

A birth chart, which is created by aligning the positions of the planets at the time of an individual’s birth, can be accessed online or through applications such as Co-Star. The primary placements within a birth chart are the Sun sign, the Moon sign, and the Ascendant, which is also referred to as the Rising Sign.

What are my 3 zodiac placements?

The horoscope is a tool used to understand one’s personality by identifying the “big three” placements – the sun, the moon, and the ascendant. The sun sign, also known as the zodiac sign, represents the core of an individual and their ego. It is considered the engine that drives them and reflects their basic personality traits. The moon, on the other hand, is crucial in forming an understanding of an individual’s emotional life and reactions in different contexts.

It represents the softer side of an individual, describing their sincerity and introversion. The moon also reveals the first response in different situations, such as the first instinct when pressure or drama arises. In essence, the horoscope helps to provide a clear picture of an individual’s personality and their unique traits.

What is your North Star in astrology?

The North Star is a significant figure in astrology, representing an individual’s “north node” or destiny, and is part of the Big and Little Dipper constellations. The North Star marks the last star at the end of the Little Dipper handle, and its significance is reflected in the constellations’ history and meaning. To find the North Star, one can trace the line formed by the two front stars of the bowl of the spoon and extend it up until they reach Polaris, the first bright star.

The song “When You Wish Upon a Star” by Jiminy Cricket resonated worldwide, reminding people of the innocence of dreams and the importance of making dreams a reality. Stars represent limitless possibilities and infinite wonder, and Polaris has become associated with direction and purpose, guiding our heart’s true desires. Astronomy apps like SkyView can help locate the North Star on a clear night.

How do I find my North Node astrology?

The natal chart contains two horseshoe-like symbols: the upright horseshoe (north node) and the upside-down horseshoe (south node). The north node represents the unique direction each individual is called to explore and become. It may be unknown to us, but waiting in that space is fulfillment. As we encounter unknown things, we often stumble, make mistakes, and face challenges. However, these mistakes and challenges are where we find profound growth.

The mundane moments of our human reality remind us that the spiritual realm can only be accessed by sinking into our humanness. Our arrival at a place defines our destiny and purpose, as well as our journey there and who we become in the process.

  • I found out what my north and south nodes. I’m a Libra North Node and an Aries South Node. Oh man when I read my north node, I realized that I struggled with all those things. And how fiercely independent I was, was exactly my south node. Now I just need to work on Cooperation, tact, sharing, teamwork. I know I have a hard time letting people help me or asking for help. And yes, I do feel like I’m losing freedom and independence by getting help. This was so true for me.

  • I love this. Without knowing anything about the nodes, I’d already come to understand that I’ve already mastered structure and planning and all those concrete things (Virgo) and it’s time to let go and learn to TRUST (Pisces). When I saw what my north and south were, it just confirmed what life has already taught me. So cool!

  • North- Gemini South- Sagittarius. It makes so much sense now. eta- It says in the book that there is no need for them (me) to continue to pursue the truth and it’s time to share it. It’s really odd because just a few days ago I started really getting into the Truth and decided it was time for me to find a way to connect and share it. What’s even odder is that the more I read, the more I realize these are things I already knew (deep down within myself). Now you and the universe is telling me that this is my soul’s purpose in life. Wow. Just WOW!

  • OMG so much to learn! I woke up one morning and everything is different for no apparent reason. Seems a bit unfortunate at age 57 but better late than never! Thank you so much Christina you have no idea how helpful these articles are. I have no where to turn as I’ve already had people ask if I’m insane 😂

  • North node Pisces, South node Virgo – no wonder I found you and really enjoy your teachings! I can see pretty clearly where I’ve been in the past (ultra comfortable in what I’ve learned, like being a perfectionist and analytical and detailed oriented). Everyone should know that they can keep some of these “comforts” to help balance their North node journey. Thank you for being you!!!

  • Omg! I’ve never really looked into my north and south node, I’ve known what they are but never understood there relevance. Well my God I am blown away, I stopped the article and went and looked up the houses where my North and south node sit! My God I am blown away with the accuracy and how so many things I’ve been experiencing and pulled towards make absolute sense now, I was actually moved to tears, this has just changed the game for me. So glad I was guided to your article. Thank you.

  • Leo ♌️ North Node here 🖐 Who knew? This is fascinating to me! I’m blown away by the guidance and clarity I’m finding already because of this article. I really wish I had the fund’s for another 1 on 1 session with you, because it was phenomenal! However, I must say all the content you gift us with is amazing too!! I SO appreciate you, and love you. 💓 This was a great one!!!!!!

  • My north node is in Pisces and now I’m gonna look up the house. I have Astrology for the Soul and am looking forward to integrating this info in my soul’s desire for Evolving and Ascending!!! Thank you for your SERVICE to all, Christina Lopes, and showing the connection to how the N Node works in your own life. I have been a student of yours for awhile, Thanks again, my dear!

  • North Node Pisces 5th house South Node Virgo 11th house. I’ve been studying Astrology for years and I have Astrology For the Soul! I’ve read it a million times and couldn’t understand what my North Node was saying to me. I understood the South Node perfectly! It’s all me! Lol I get it now and am finally able to move forward and am relieved that I dont have to try to be perfect anymore! Lol Thanks for this article!

  • Thank you! Mine is Virgo, too, yeah, everything I’m not but want to be, LOL. My few encounters with astrologists have not covered the nodes, so this is great. Thank you! I just recently found your website “randomly” after starting a Kundalini awakening about 3 weeks ago and suddenly going through all sorts of bizarre things I never have before and never even considered (like past lives and guides). So thank you. It’s also helpful reading the comments and seeing what other folks are going through, too. Peace!

  • People who have South node ( also known as Ketu in vedic astrology ) in Pisces have very high chance of liberation from death and rebirth (also knows as Moksha in vedic astrology) after living current life as per Vedic astrology. So I have been studying vedic astrology on and off for a while. Whether you will receive Moksha or not depends on your D-20 chart. Also I would suggest you to use Sidereal zodiac tracking instead of tropical Zodiac tracking since it’s more accurate as it takes the tilt of the earth and wobble of the earth in the account to which tropical zodiac tracking does not. And I just wanna say I’m glad I found you and your website.Thank you so much for all the content you are putting on internet. You are such a gift to humanity. Its really priceless what you are doing for people out there. Love and peace from India 🙏🙏🙏

  • Yep, knowing the moon’s Nodes is vital. My NN is Pisces so I came to shift myself, ancestral souls and whomever I connect with into a higher reality based upon the healing of the illusions we are this body and mind only. Well done 🙏🏻 Book suggestion is Jan Spiller – Astrology for the Soul … all about the Nodes, mind blowing book

  • I’m learning so much on your website it’s incredible ❤️ love being part of this community! I agree with Victoria on the synchronicity of your topics …🙏😍 North node Virgo ♍️, south node Pisces ♓️ however North in 10th house and South in fourth! Super excited to build on this new discovery, thank you 🙏🤗

  • North node in Virgo in the 2nd House. I’m just learning this, how exciting! It all makes so much sense! I need to investigate the second house more to understand this in a more complete way, sharing nodes with you made this much more easier to both understand and relate to, I have also always given my all through my lifelong desire to serve and help others. Thank you!!! 🙏🏻💜☀️💜🌟💜💫

  • My North node is LEO My South node is AQUARIUS. This article was helpful, I have been filled with a desire to move forward, but have had no direction or ” next point”…soo 🤷 🤔 I have felt a bit lost… This is now my “next point”… unstuck and reach forward… spiritbumps. 😆 🤣 Thank you Beautiful Soul!!!

  • Hi Christina ! I realize this article is a year old BUT last year I had no clue what a north node was. I want to say that I’ve watched sooo many of your articles the last couple months and have learned ALOT🙂 THANK YOU As for my north node it’s Scorpio. Now that I know that bit I’m gonna find out what it means 🙂🙂🙂🙂

  • My North Node is Scorpio in the Ninth House and South Node is Taurus in the Third House. Reading up more on these houses and the zodiac signs, already noticing some familiar things from my South Node. This article was very helpful and I’ll defs be working on this in more depth to understand everything better! Thank you!💫

  • After diving deep into learning what my nodes are, I learned on a collective level the nodes that went into transit May 2020 went into Gemini, with south node in Sagittarius till 2022, which are my nodes. It made so much sense lately as to why I’ve been feeling things more intensely at accelerated levels. Thank you for sharing with us all Christina☺️💗

  • I have to admit I was a little skeptic ( astrology and all) but when I found out my north node is in Sagittarius, it made perfect sense, confirming what i know about myself. I love to learn for the sake of learning – no other goal than to understand and align with wisdom. I love it and life without it seems dull. i wonder what my south node is…thanks again for this lovely surprise ( in its accuracy).

  • North node in Capricorn in the 3rd house along with Uranus and Neptune. South Node in Cancer in the 9th along with my moon which is also in Cancer lol I’ve researched a little about my North node and all I can get from it is that It has to do with Communication and mastering somthing(?) Idk, I think if I learn more about the 9th house, I’ll have a better understanding of the 3rd. 😅🙃😂

  • I am the last standing member of my family. I have no way of knowing what time I was born. Honestly, I consider myself lucky just to know the real date. Is there anyway I can find out the actual time? I wasn’t born in a hospital. So….I have been going through a great awakening and have always felt lost and I don’t have a clue why I am here or what I am supposed to be doing. I am Sagittarius but how can I figure out what time I was born? Would a guide know this?

  • Hi Christina! I am sagittarius with north node in sag and south node in gemini..I can tell you that I have been releasing so many heavy things that came with my south node, but being a sagittarius already, it’s kind of blurry where am i supposed to go, haha, if you can shed some light on it i’ll appreciate it. Tons of hugs for you. Love your activations and articles.

  • Great article however I’d like to state that while moving towards north node you shouldn’t abandon the s. Node qualities/abilities you’ve gained. They are to be intergrated. Until I understood this I just focused on my Virgo north which left me feeling abit incomplete it wasn’t until it was explained to me its about integration. From your example Christina I can see how your Virgo north in 9th house has helped your Pisces south. They are working harmoniously. It reflects in your website /business. I’ve also seen from research that even creativity/our work reflects these nodes. Connecting to your headless south node through the north node.

  • My moon and north node are right next to each other in Leo. But my moon is in my 1st house, within a degree of the start of the beginning of the house. My moon is less than 2 degrees short of being on the edge of my 12th house. My south node is hanging out near my sun in Aquarius. Thanks for this insight. Okay. You’ve concreted my thoughts of learning more about Astrology, particularly my own chart. Thank you for this, too!

  • North Node Libra in the 1st house here, also where my rising sign happens to be. Got my South Node in Aries where Saturn is too, which now I’m starting to understand why I’m “too spicy” (according to those who hurt me) especially when I’m hurt. I do have the book & I’ve read it plenty of times, but I’ll have to refresh my memory on that

  • Aries NN in the 4th house: I have to create my own family. Working out new family values and traditions that might go against my birth family’s ethos. This seems extra hard as a Cancer Sun+ Taurus Moon, but (if I’m honest) it feels right. And my Sag AC agrees. I personally worked on it for a while and now I have the right partner by my side to make it a reality!

  • My north node is in Aquarius and my south node in Leo. I’m born 29″ Leo with my venus & jupiter ALSO in Leo(even my last name, a royal Welsh name, means “Lion-like”) – though my rising, moon & mercury are in Virgo & my Midheaven in Gemini. The part about s.node moving to n. node, so leaving fire and going towards air in my case, puts my chart in context – since I am almost a quadruple Virgo with a midheaven in Gemini all ruled by Mercury. Even my late mother, who I am alot alike though we had friction too, was an Aquarius(my sister is a Gemini and my Dad a Sagittarius – he always said each parent got a kid like them!) Having this much Leo and Virgo energy has been confusing and now it makes MUCH more sense! There are Leonine gifts(leadership, creativity, etc.) and outmoded ways of being, valuing, relating, etc. that are natural to me(even if I don’t always feel that way) but they are now to be in service of something bigger than myself unlike perhaps in a past life. I’m definitely a writer intellectual like my mother was, though I struggle with embodiment(Virgo life lessons!). My first name Sandra ALSO means “defender of mankind, helper of humanity” – it is a family name and one my Aquarian mother chose(my Aunt Saundra passed from Lupus at 25, then I was diagnosed with it at 23 after my mom had passed youn herself and I’d been the only other known relative to develop this particular autoimmunity) – a very “Aquarian” first name for sure! There are many more synchronicities this knowledge is illuminating, but overall just more confirmation that my existence is not an “accident”!

  • Thank you a great way of explaining north and south nodes… I’ve been doing a lot of work and research on all things spiritual, healing, energies, journey and life’s purpose but had been learning all about my north but have to say I hadn’t even looked into my south thinking my past and already mastered that… hence where I’d been, Lol but thankfully I came across this one too, seeing it having watched almost all your articles but boy was I wrong and glad I watched!!! Even more grateful you made it, all these articles 🙏🏻 North node in Leo ♌️ but double Virgo ♍️ and Libra ♎️ moon 🌝 plus 5 planets 🪐 placements so a bit a a struggle to say the least!!! 🙏🏻💫❣️

  • My North Node is in Virgo too, but not in the same house, and conjunct to Lilith. Everything does seem to dissolve: difficulty to construct something concrete for and around me. I’m not new to astrology, but it is one of the things that I have let go and didn’t dive deep into (example of not constructing anything solid). The timing of your article is spot on – I have been thinking about consulting an astrologer. Well, as soon as I find a job – having difficulty staying at my jobs too. I guess my Pisces South Node is not very keen on material well being…

  • I am the exact opposite nodes from yours lol Pisces N.Node 29°41″ 7th House Virgo S.Node 29°41″ 1st House My life has been a hot mess of all sorts of things but I have always worked in one way or another as a natural healer. Now I’m learning how to work from home trying to do what I love but find being alone so I can feel comfortable is now impossible being i had to move in with my boyfriend and his mother also is now living here and I miss being in my own home and having my own space and I had to give up my dog because she hates dogs… so for 1 year now I’ve been learning how to compromise and figure out what the hell I’m supposed to really do now… ya know just like everyone else I guess. I find it funny how I can help so many other people with their issues but when ot comes to my own… I feel lost. I swear I meditate more then anyone I know… LMAO oh well studying more about metaphysics is what I’ve been doing and trying to stay balanced as possible. Thanks for all your articles they are really helping me very much since I found them last month.

  • Wow. This is awesome. I have the same nodal placements as you. Thing is, I also have Cancer moon, Scorpio rising… I am an emotional wreck right now, completely ungrounded for years. Virgo individuals have been a huge part of my life, and I have experienced some emotional trauma associated with that sign, although I absolutely adore my Virgo people. They have been frustrated with me. That, I do understand, but that going crazy out of my way for them… I saw that as an excuse! A part of me knows that I don’t need that, and also that I would have been better off if I could accept their guidance, rather than constantly feeling miffed by their perceived lack of acknowledgment of my finer points. That actually isn’t quite fair to them! They did their best to keep my ego from crumbling with every imagined slight. Thank you, Dr. Lopes, for another amazing article! ( You definitely vibrate as being very comfortable with your Virgo North Node. I have a long way to go, but I am grateful for this teaching.

  • “Why I need to understand my North Node.” It’s in Pisces, fine, dandy good. I can deal with that. But hey! My ascendant is Libra, so my North Node is in Pisces in the 6th house… At this point, I do what I always do when it comes to this sort of thing. Accept that I’m just not supposed to be able to work this shit out, and let it go. wanders off to do some art/cooking/gardening (currently well and truly in the VOID.)

  • I am going from Earth to Water, North Node Pisces, third house. Not sure where to begin. Understanding both Virgo and Pisces at same time? Snuggling up with understanding the third and ninth houses first? Moon in Gemini always seeking clarification. Healing from the greatest heartbreak ever in two centuries I have straddled, and very ready to see clearly all I need to release and step into my soul purpose, or surely this one will kill me. 🙏🏼

  • I’m nearly creeped out now haha. I’ve felt the strongest urge to be more adventurous and to focus more on myself and how to love myself the last few weeks and now I’ve found this article the night of the Sagittarius super moon and did the research and my NN is in Sagittarius in the 11th house and my SN in Gemini in the 5th house. If someone who can help me interpret this further reads this please feel free to reply! Thanks for this article! ♥️

  • guess what? my north node is Virgo and south is Pisces just like you. I admit I was disappointed and confused by it (not disappointed to be like you…HA). Being analytical and organized, grounded, I was hoping for better and I am confused as to what to do with this. The boundaries part makes sense though.

  • Omg we are opposites. I’m North node Pisces, then south node Virgo. How did I discover you just afew weeks ago and learning so much!! I definitely was guided to you, and I’m open to learning from you Christina. Your name is also very telling, you’re doing Christ’s work, knowingly or unknowingly… ❤️❤️❤️

  • Hi! This is all new to me, my spiritual awakening seems like a rollercoaster sometimes! I have always loved astrology and everything spiritual, since i can remember lol. I have been reading up on all i can when ot comes to finding out about myself and what my purpose is, i learned i have opposite zodiac signs when it comes to my star and moon sigms. So, im a virgo and my moon sign is pisces which amazing bcus those are your north and south nodes, haha! But after perusal your article i discovered my north is aries and south is libra… my question is, does the fact that my moon and star sign are also opposite mean something deeper? I have also been seeing numbers 111 11 or 33 333 like crazy everywhere! Im so happy i watched this article cus now i know what to do when they show up again! Thank you for all you do!

  • Aries north node ….makes so much sense … edit: omg .. i just researched a lot more about this and holy shift is this accurate. especially about my karmic connections that all had activations for me, thats why i got hit again and again and again and again ..to wake me up hardcore and become independent, away from co-dependent. ….. omg

  • Mine is north node Aquarius 8th house and Leo south node I believe 2nd house. If this is how that works? I now know what my south node means and is exactly what I’ve been just recently in the last couple months trying to walk through and let go. Down to the talks with my kids to getting rid of so much and finally feeling okay to do so. So now I just need to figure out where that takes me into my north node. What now?

  • Okay, I need clarity on Which Astrology to follow my north node. Meaning Vedic Astrology or Tropical One? Because in Vedic my north node is in Aquarius and in Tropical my north node is in Pisces. I heard Vedic Astrology is the most accurate one because it follows the constellation and Sun position to constellation changes 1 degree in every 70 years. I would really like to know your perspective on this. Thank you!

  • OMG, I am your opposite, Cristina. 😅 I have my North Node in Pisces, South node in Virgo. Second House. Weird thing is qs I was listening to your article I had this intuitive feeling that I am the same as you qnd now it turns out I need to lwarn the opposite. Thank you for the information and the support for our expansion through your articles! Much, much love!

  • Ah this makes so much sense as to why I was guided to watch this this week. I have been working towards my North Node self without realizing it especially these past couple of months. What I found myself needing to work on is exactly what my North Node is having fulfilled that. Woah 😨 🤯 Thank you for sharing your wisdom as always, they seem divinely guided to me 🙏🌟

  • Hi,, Thank you Christina for your vidéos and lessons you teach on YouTube, i have learned so much about my Awakening which started some years back but i had not really understood what was happening to me, till i started following you on YouTube. My Astrology NN is LEO and SN AQUARIUS the problem is i havent got à good website to make me understand my purpose in the life, i dont know my House Number yet. pls Help me, Thank You 😗

  • Thank you for sharing with us… I’m a Taurus north node and I am diving into understanding the astrology and numerology more so everyday! Between the frequency of cymatics and quantum entanglement, I am feeling even more connected with my spiritual life than ever before. I feel so awake somedays, I can barely find sleep… and when I do, I have had the most vivid dreams and feelings connected to them and whatever else hides inside of me… of us. Thank you again for all your wonderful energy and I hope it returns to you in the most beautiful blessings! Peace and love 💕

  • My north node is the 9th house of Sagittarius The information is parallel with my numerology. I’ve been inside so much lately but can never sit still. Thank you so much. My north node isn’t going to be hard for me since all I need to do is get out more and explore more and go places. Now I can finally watch my life soon enough fall in place. You are a angel that answered my prayers. I’m literally crying because I finally don’t feel lost.

  • Thank you Christina!! I recently started studying my chart so this is very helpful. My north node is in Cancer barely in the 4th house on the border of the 3rd. My biggest question is about my south node which seems to align directly with my M/C in Capricorn on the border between my 9th and 10th house. No wonder I’m so confused!!! 😉

  • My north node is also virgo and my south node pisces, but my virgo north node is in the 3rd house and my south node pisces is in the 9th house. I seem to want to connect and help people and I believe I”m a lightworker (my name numerology numbers show humanitarianism as well) but my life path number is 8 and seems to be connected with power and money. I’m deeply confused on how these go together.

  • Hello Christina! I turned a young 61 in February. I never knew abt my North Node in Leo the day I was born. This is incredible because reading the Leo Node, is EXACTLY hiw my life played out, I didnt work it it, in unfolded that way and I always went with my gut. QUESTION: Niw, when the nodes change, how do the planets then effect me if not in Leo?

  • N. Node Virgo here and also have Spiller’s book. You are right it is life changing discovering your true node. I used an astrologer to help me find mine because the mainstream dates put me as north node libra and that’s not me past present or future. This download of knowledge has come at such a good time for me. Thanks for your articles. Lopes = Portuguese descent by any chance?

  • I was born June 12th 1981. It was Friday. My mother doesn’t remember, if I was born quarter to two in morning or evening, AM or PM so to speak. I know I am Gemini, so Sagittarius in my North node, right? Can anyone help me please with this? My father told me i was born at night, AM. But I think he told me a different time, after 4 AM. My mother is still alive and I feel she is ashamed that she don’t remember if it was night or day. My father died 27.02.2020. So, can’t ask him anymore. There might be records somewhere, but I am afraid and tired 😭 Can anyone help me, please?

  • Christina Lopes ✨ you are the star. I could overcome many issues from perusal your website, and I have the same North and South Nodes as you do. I sacrificed myself untill I have got nothing left. I have seen myself crumbling down in 2019, my self-Worth reduced from 90% to 0% I didn’t know myself anymore. I was suicidal, but I asked the Unknown for help, because I lost my mother who was sacrificed her entire life for everyone else to suicide as well. I recognized my thoughts became toxic, it took me quite a few months to release myself from toxic situations. I kept going back to people who are toxic to me without being aware of it. Untill I have found your website. I have done the releasing control and asked my soul to take charge in my life. I found myself doing things I wouldn’t expect myself to do, I gain so much more courage and confront the disappointments, love unconditionally without attachment. I released and let go of all the control and remove myself from people that are toxic to me. I see things clearer and clearer and come to realization that totally shocked me to the core. Listening to you talking about North Node and South Node and how you behaved in the past, I see myself in there as well. I almost cry but dear me, I have got no tear left. I have cried so much since August 2019 untill now, I literally cry almost every single day. My heart aches, my body filled with heat as if I was going to be burnt into ashes. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You save my life.

  • Wow! Laughing so much after I found out my north node! Whew! My north is Taurus and south is Scorpio. So I am here to be materialistic… i like it haha but I am sooo into spiritual. So i have a question, do I have to stop being spiritual to „fulfill” the Taurus representation? Do I have to stop looking for the truth, connecting to spirit guides etc? How can I find a balance? Many thanks, Christina!

  • Hello ma’am 👋 hru? there’s a issue that I have.. I’ve been confused and I’ve been looking for help all over unfortunately didn’t get any..back in 2018 I met this particular person online there as well she met her partner we all met online however we haven’t met in person as yet now our conversation isn’t all that hence I cannot really communicate well I’m not very social, outgoing or friendly I’m bipolar and so is she I’m a loner to be honest have no friends or acquaintances it’s just me…My problem idk why did she came into my life eversince she came for the last few weeks I’ve been experiencing dark night of the soul I’m depressed, confused, words can’t explain how I’m feeling at this point as well I don’t know where to go or who to turn to for help not even a family member I doubt they would understand my situation I cry every day even when I think about her too…about a month ago I’ve been asking the universe for signs to state whether she is my twin flame or not however I’ve received it but I always thought they were coincidences the final time I ask for a dream and I dreamt that me her and her partner was playing a card game and I ask her a question and her reply was yes and it ended right there I don’t know what it meant I don’t think she is my twin flame ik she isn’t however her partner is I’m positive about that and even tell her about it… eversince I’ve met her I’ve realized that I didn’t love myself and whenever I think about how I hate myself I cry always right now I cut contact with her just to focus and work on myself for some time.

  • Mine is Aquarius and like you it really opened my eyes. When I started really studying astrology, at first it was as simple as thinking it just told me who I am, I didn’t realize it showed you areas you needed to persue growth and just how deep it is. Finding out my north node opened my eyes and changed my life too. Thank you for sharing these truths with so many! ❤

  • I’ve always been interested in astrology and have recently been introduced to Vedic Astrology which is more accurate if you want to be precise on placement at time of birth. It’s about 24° off of our western astrology because it calculated the shifts and movements over time and some constellations are bigger than others. I’ve been confused because those 24° (give or take) changes everything ~ placement and degree. Mind bogglingly different. I needed proof lol so I contacted a few astronomers to verify at this moment were the moon was real time and what constellation it was in and they all verified that Vedic had the right information.. (Western astrology was saying one sign and Vedic charts where saying another) so with that little explanation and having an identity crisis because of it. I’ll list both hahaha. 🙈 Vedic 19° NN Scorpio/SN Taurus West 11° NN Sagittarius/SN Gemini

  • 💫💞💖💞💫 Been Working towards My Inspirationals & Hope Daily.. My Polaris & Moon surely exact on Timing. Explains’Much’ So Much… Found mine about 8 mnths ago’ when I was finely curious enough to find out my Whys’ & How Comes’ of My Second Spiritual Awakening ‘lol Much Gratitude For Shares’ Christina ‘ Love & Light’ Trisha/Purple Poetry 💫💞🐞💞💫

  • Awesome article! Thanks Christina. I have the exact same placement as you but opposite if that makes sense. I also have VIRGO NORTH NODE but in the 3rd house and PISCES SOUTH NODE in the 9th house. The difficult or challenging part of it is that my SUN is in PISCES exactly one degree apart from my SOUTH NODE in the 9th. Does this mean that I have to kind of deny myself and find the path of VIRGO (details, grounded work, order, structure, responsibilities, etc.) Damn! I have a lot of work to do. Plus my SATURN is also in VIRGO in the 3rd! Talk about a whole lotta learning to do!

  • My husband and I were born 5 1/2 years EXACTLY apart. We are complete opposites. My SOUTH node is Aquarius and his is Leo. My NORTH node is Leo and his Aquarius. He was born on 8/12 (Leo) and I was born on 2/12 (Aquarius). EXACTLY 6 months apart to the day! I always thought it was a strange coincidence but after perusal this article I’m wondering now..🤔 How WEIRD! I wonder what this means for my marriage?

  • Fantastic article!! During the whole article I was wondering “but what is her Nodes” and it happen that it’s the same as I. I also have a North Node in Virgo, so I was thrilled to listen to your personal example and how it helped you in your life. That’s excactly the type of informations I needed!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙏✨

  • I love you Christina!!! No coincidence, you are the absolute truth… Today was my worst day ever, I was down, stucked, in tears in deed, desperate to move on… As i feel completely lost in my life these days, as I lost my earlier identity completely and I still can’t properly find the new one… Even I think, I don’t know 4 sure and I MUST know… Im struggling for few weeks now and I’m asking for the proper sign WHATS MY GOAL HERE ON THIS PLANET THEN as it’s still not clear enough 4 me… I can wonder why… I’m virgo, means my North Node is Pisces…. And u send this wonderful information to my mail box just Today… as always… Perfect timing… Now I know even more why I love you so much… namaste

  • ♐️♑️♐️, N.Node ♍️ LifePath 3….. yep destined to be something…. Im a truck driver, I sing karaoke, and I’m a rookie light worker. At any given time today I’m working with 4 to 5 people to (usually) carefully pull away the threads of the veil obscuring their realities. Thank you for all of your content!

  • I have read about my North Node and South Node and absolutely nothing resonates in the least. I continue to try to read other interpretations and I have the book that you mention, but to be honest it’s not me in the least. It’s almost as if my South Node is the complete opposite of me. It’s disappointing because I have heard many astrologers talk about the significance of the north node. But it seems like the explanations mostly focus on getting out of the South mode energy…like what I should do differently or watch out for because I have certain tendencies of the South node. But it’s hard to follow since I recognize almost no qualities in myself from the south. Any ideas on what I should focus on or other perspective I should look at in order for me to get some sort of significance from my north mode?

  • Thank you for the information, subscribed. Life has gone a tad weird… I seem to have Mercury, the Sun, Pluto and my North Node in Scorpio (8th House). That means my South is Taurus?…. It would appear my past was all about stability?. Still not quite sure what my soul would like but all the 8th house stuff is a tad concerning but not in fear of it. It feels like I’ve got a ton of karma/darma to deal with. Had a rather intense “awakening” 13 full moons ago. Seems my higher self decided its time to WTF up.

  • Thanks for reminding me how important it is to not just KNOW what your nodal axis is by house and sign, but consciously and intentionally work to embrace the north node and release the south node. I have a Libra rising chart and I’ve found it challenging to interpret my nodes due to having an inverted chart, but also because they are right on the line between the Taurus/Scorpio axis and the Gemini/Sagittarius axis. Interestingly, I identify with them both. But TECHNICALLY my true nodes are: south node in Gemini in the 9th house and north node in Sagittarius in the 3rd house. I have Jan Spiller’s book you mentioned and it’s a fabulous resource! ❤✨ Shenandoah

  • …..literally just learning this now lol this makes so much sense! Hence finding ur website to learn importance of North node💕 learning my South node and 💯 connecting this sign to my past and a relationship that literally just about destroyed my life and guess what????(☝️significant cuz I was fresh into recovery from drug addiction) His sign is my South node! HA! Enuff said! This is all the confirmation needed to start exploring where I’m going not where I’ve been or struggle with..been there done that don’t want the t shirt 😆 yes it was that bad. Ty for the info💚

  • I’m a Pisces, had my first moon moon reading yesterday evening (the moon was in Pisces and I didn’t even know it 😃), I received the message of the North Node. Thank you for posting this article it’s very helpful. Just curious too, I saw DPT in your credentials, are you a Physical Therapist? I’m an Occupational Therapist so just curious 😊

  • Hi Christina, my NN is kicking me in the *ass. I have NN in Aries in the 6th house of work, To make things even more fun, I have Saturn (rx)in Aries in the 6th house as well as Chiron in Aries, but he decided to hang back in my fifth house. Have I’ve found my purpose? NOPE. Even as a kid I knew that I came here to do something and I needed to have a purpose. At age 52 I still don’t know. I just shake my head when I look at my birth chart and think who did I piss off? I want to have a long talk with my soul about this contract. Apparently I didn’t read the fine print. I have appreciation for my 12th house Libra south node, but finding my true North, my center has eluded me all my life. It’s almost as if I feel blocked from what I’m supposed to do. Don’t even get me started on my Leo Midheaven! I’m at the point of just throwing my hands up to the universe and saying “uncle”.

  • Libra rising puts all my things in opposite places. Midnight Capricorn, Saturn up high in 10th, retro on the Summer Solstice point. That’s where my Dragon Tail slithers. Moon up there too, so my present life Moon keeps my emotional body open to 9th house things, but Gemini. Dragon Head points straight to GC, black hole sun in the middle of the galaxy. But all that big stuff crams into my 3rd house where Neptune also is. I can watch other people’s articles, read books, play music in my cave all day. Being the center of a galaxy isn’t exactly my best practiced skill. Hard to find my people in 3rd house settings. Common sense is often way off course from that sense having been knocked by cultural engineering. Like, fast food everywhere cause common sense says if everyone is doing it, must be OK. Kung Fu Wizard is deeply disappointed in the lack of discipline, and also lack of basic joyful presence, which alas, requires discipline to keep steady enough to savor for a moment at least. Yeah, GC is crowded except for at the center, which doesn’t spin. I like better to be on the stage than in the crowd. If I’m not the one holding the guitar, I’m elsewhere. Starting to get the knack of my dragon dance, discipline mighty heavy during the deep dredge through my 🌞 🏠, midnight is a 4th house Sun.
