One thing to mention if you over clock the 2200g you can get about a 55% overclock on the graphics with the stock cooler and still be under 64c under load, I was playing fallout4 and farcry4 at 1080p high preset 60fps with mine running 8gb of ddr4 3000 overclock to 3200mhz dedicating the maximum 2gb of it to the graphics. Edit the ram was Gskill team 2×4 3000mhz kit.
Old article I know but just perusal now, I have a modern Ryzen pc that will run anything very well but Arena freezes all the time and is the only game or program that does so on it. So decided to try my old ancient optiplex core2duo with no gpu running Win 7 and 4gb ram, to see if it would run it and it does lol. Very slowly and poorly but it does run and is somewhat playable, so Arena will run on a potato fa show . Surprisingly I barely had any freeze ups in comparison but still does freeze . Unfortunately the game is too slow on the core2 duo to play as often as I do. Really annoying having to re-start the game all the time and all the know it all Reddit trolls were no help in helping me solve the issue and were just jerks in general, I think that’s where all the toxic salty coonts from arena hang out when not roping me lol
Oh had to make a point on running windows 10 free I’ve been running for about 30 months without a key and it never bugs me with a notification ot just has a small watermark on the bottom right corner of the screen and locks the personalization menu for me. Edit you can still change your wallpaper by right clicking an image and selecting set as wallpaper/or background(I don’t remember.)
AMD laughing to the bank with it’s Ryzen series. Intel so flustered, they snipe hired the guy responsible for the architecture late last year. I built a 2700X Ryzen system last year. Dat multicore, multi thread design….. it’s laughable because Windows 10 is my systems bottleneck.I used to turn on my PC, and then go make a load of laundry or a sammish or whatever cause I didn’t want to wait for it to boot. Now, I can’t turn around and leave the room before it’s at the log in screen. The only reason the system isn’t faster is because the software out there can’t utilize all the multithread abilities. In fact, that is the main excuse the Intel fanbois use to defend their absolute fractional tiny performance “victory”. They cling to the single thread performance advantage of the Intel chips that cost 3x what the Ryzen does. There is a reason the next gen consoles are going with AMD. I used an AsRock Taichi MB, because the onboard sound quality is legit, and it was relatively cheap for a premium MB. Also, it has double M.2 for hard drives. And that is something I need to speak to: M.2 hard drive tech. Samsung M.2 SSD is some fucking alien technology from the future.Pretty sure some dude that was on a time travel vacation from the year 2250 had one fall out of his pocket or some thing and Samsung found it.
