Despite an article and videos from satire site MouseTrapNews.com indicating otherwise, Cinderella Castle at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom did not catch fire and burn down. Disney in a statement obtained by Scott Gustin stated that “there was a small fire in Magic Kingdom. The fire was quickly extinguished by fire extinguishers. No one was hurt”.
As of December 15th, Magic Kingdom is back to normal, and the Cinderella Castle and surrounding area are safe. Rumors have been spreading on social media that rioters set Cinderella Castle at Disney World on fire, but the Cinderella Castle in Disney World has not burned down.
