  • A article showing how long it takes from Pop Century/Art of Animation on the Slyliner for rope drop/early entry at EPCOT/ Hollywood Studios would be great. It’d be interesting to know how long before park opens the slyliner starts, what the crowds and wait time are like and if it’s a stressful or peaceful journey to be there in time for early entry!

  • We stayed at Bay Lake Tower a few weeks ago. It was our first time staying at a monorail resort. Our first evening there we headed to Epcot on the monorail and loved how quick and easy it was. Then ….. massive rain storm, everyone’s leaving the parks. We were cutting it close to getting back to BLT in time to meet our Instacart delivery (included alcohol, so we had to be there in person). We hop on the monorail and after we switched to the resort line at the TTC it took forever. We had to either temporarily stop or slow down at every station due to traffic. Even if we hadn’t stopped, it’s just a long trek all the way around the system from the TTC to the Contemporary. I’d love to see you guys do a test of taking the monorail the whole way from Epcot to the Contemporary as we did vs getting off at the TTC and getting on the MK monorail, then walking back to the Contemporary. We need more All Ears science!! 😎

  • There is nothing more magical than being stuck 20 feet off the ground in an un-air-conditioned metal tube under the hot Florida sun when the train loses power, especially if you are trying to make a reservation. I would walk, even if it actually took longer. That was one of the main reasons we stayed at Contemporary when the kids were little. Different story when leaving at night.
