I HAVE FOUND A FIX FOR THE LATEST RELEASE. Instead of adding $DEBUG = TRUE where he says in this article, enter it at the VERY top of the script (The first line of before any of the script itself), save your changes and load the game up. THE GAME SHOULD GIVE YOU AN ERROR (This is intentional) Manually update your game by running the install_update thing. Now you’re going to go back to the script and the edit you made originally should be gone so now you add “$DEBUG = true” WITHOUT THE QUOTES at the top of your script, save again and again as the first line of text, save it and it should work. I downloaded the game yesterday for the first time and it worked for me also i’m on a mac so maybe it will run differently for you but just sharing what worked for me
The game is still bricking even if I change everything, people say to do an update check, but when I click the ‘INSTALL_OR_UPDATE’ file it just says ‘thank you for installing or updating press any key to continue’ it doesn’t fix the problem. Is there a way to keep my saved data and redownload the game?
