Disney has launched the MagicMobile service for iPhone and Apple Watch, allowing guests to use their watch as a Magic Band. The MagicBand is a colorful wristband that guests can wear at Walt Disney World to enter theme parks, unlock hotel rooms, and buy food. The service uses the Wallet app and allows users to access their pass directly on their Apple Watch without having to unlock or wake their device.
Guests can choose from various colors, including glitter options, which have been popular among fans of Apple’s Sport. The MagicBand is an all-in-one wearable device that makes it easy to enjoy their time at Walt Disney World. To use the MagicBand, users must first set up the Disney MagicMobile service on the Disney app and then add their MagicMobile Pass to their Apple Wallet.
To wear the MagicBand with an Apple Watch, users can use the Apple Watch Magic Band Adapter, which comes with clear instructions. To set up, open the My Disney Experience app, tap the three lines at the bottom right of the screen, select Disney MagicMobile, and then set up the MagicBand+ to be attached to their Apple Watch band.
However, only one MagicBand can be used with an Apple Watch in “express mode”, where users don’t need to pull up their device first. This new feature offers a more convenient way for Disney guests to enjoy their time at Walt Disney World.

If you have 4 days of single park tickets, is there a danger of scanning 2 different tickets if you leave the park and reenter later? That would accidently use 2 tickets for a single day to the same park, leaving you short a ticket for the other 4 parks. Or… do the tickets have some way of knowing which ticket belongs to which park. Example: When you buy 4 tickets is each ticket assigned to a different park and marked to show that? Is it better to just transfer 1 of the 4 tickets from the “Disney app” to the wallet every morning before going to the parks, so that doesnt’ happen? Do the tickets go dead after so many hours after first being scanned? Should/can you kill one of the 4 park tickets from Apple wallet and Disney app, so you aren’t scanning a used ticket?
