When I put the iPad in my backpack, the Apple Pencil comes off and gets lost. It has happened to me that I stopped looking for it for days and when I want to use it it has no battery, so I better start looking for alternatives. Fortunately I found the case you recommend and I will try to buy it, so thank you very much!
I used to use a sling mainly because I use pencil grips (or a sleeve) that don’t fit into pencil holders built into those cases with one. There are also adhesive pencil “pocket” holders that do the same thing but without slingin’ it. They just stick to the case where you want em. I did mine closer to the edge so that when the case was opened and in landscape it would give a slight viewing/drawing angle.
I heard about the sling almost 2- 3 years ago when I got my 12.9 tablet. For those interested, there are less expensive versions. But more importantly, be aware that when you’re not using the pencil, and you have the tablet cover folded over, it’ll create a sandwich bump. Possibly making it feel awkward to hold. If you have the sling hooked to the cover flap, the subtle thickness of the sling will remain in contact with your tablet’s screen. You could always test it by simply taping your pencil to your cover to get a feel for it.
Since you’re on the subject of iPad accessories, I’m finding a hard time locating a sling or backpack that allows mobility to hold the iPad up as i walk. I’m an on the go type of person (and I also would find it easier to play Pokémon Go while walking 😁🤣). Any suggestions or reviews? The only thing I’ve come across was the iBackflip Somersault … for much older and smaller iPads. (I have a 12.9 4th Gen)
