As a 47 year Christian who has been on both sides of this debate throughout the years I am impressed with your ability to discern this accurately, I typically hear responses that are extreme one way or another and missing the Truth of entering the gate through Jesus Christ, if one enters through a demonic ritual then the spirits they dwell with will be of the same nature, demonic. I opened up my 3rd Eye years ago which led to me having encounters with the spiritual realm visions dreams and astral travel and alot of demonic activity started happening. It then led me to Jesus and now I am baptised and born again. I really needed this article. I prayed for God to close my third eye but he has not answered and he has always answered my prayers. So I can only think he wants it open to teach me a lesson or trusted me with it. I had a routine dental appointment that swole my face. 3 doctors could see the swelling but couldn’t find the source. So I had a CAT scan where they injected me with Iodine. One of the things known to decalcify the pineal gland. Months later I kept thinking about contacting an old friend. 2 days later she contacted me. She was into crystals. I thought they were rocks and considered it mumbo jumbo and a distraction from God. I decided to touch them since they were rocks to me but prayed to God nothing would manifest. In seconds my forehead felt like something opened, yes like an eye and it was frantically looking all around. I thought I lost my mind that day and would never be the same. I think you’ll find this is NOT of God. I’d had my third eye opened up to the demonic realm, before I came to Christianity. I had been interested in paranormal psychic phenomena, which opened up the third eye . When I became a Christian, a UK based Christian deliverance ministry, with sound bible teaching and Freedom in Christ courses, by the witness of the Holy Spirit, showed the people ministering to me that I had i fact opened my third eye, or spirit and soul to the dark, satanic side . Even doing yoga, transcendental meditation, going to fortune tellers, all these ” harmless” activities are opening the doorway to the demonic realm . Of course the people praying for me explained what I had inadvertently participated in and that I’d given a right to the satanic realm to enter through my act of the will. I repented, asked Jesus to forgive me, even though I’d done it unknowing it was against God, and asked the Holy Spirit to cleanse me, and they prayed my third eye would be closed. I had deliverance, and saw in the spirit realm hundreds and hundreds of scorpions coming out of my mouth. They told me that we don’t essentially have a third eye as such, but I’d used my will and had caused darkness to enter my soul and spirit. Once I’d repented and accepted that Jesus died on the cross to set me free from, sin, sickness and Satan, I was then able to receive the cleansing, loving, pure power of the Holy Spirit. My experience with opening the third eye is. That when it’s open your literally experiencing either heaven or hell. Neither of these is a place but a conciseness in the the mind and soul. Once I opened my third eye since I was a good person at heart everything around me was vibrant colors and the feel of euphoria was 100x better. I felt more then peace but everlasting happiness. I’ve seen things here and there from the time of a child. When I shared, people called me crazy. I saw shadow people growing up and was always aware of invisible people walking around me, but I could not see them. I did see a hungry person going into my refrigerator, and when he pulled out food – spoke to me revealing his name – then he disappeared. I was once walking through my livingroom, and my eye opened and showed me a (beautiful clear blue sky with white clouds) … then it closed again, and I was once again just looking around my livingroom. With family refusing to believe anything that I said, I spent the later years – just ignoring it. (All True!)
I’ve had “third eye opening” experiences by sheer accident, usually early in the morning. On several accounts, I’ve been able to recall clear vision of my bedroom, despite wearing sleeping blinds to totally black out any light in the room. Not by meditation or intention. It just happens. I recently was challenged by a Wednesday Evening Teaching by Prophet-Pastor Kent Christmas to realise we need to be in Gods will and we can indeed do thongs to hassen His return for us. Realising this has greatly excited my inner man! I commend you on this teaching about the pineal gland. I concur that we are created in the image of God. And the gland itself with its possibilities, could be used as we continue to walk in the Spirit of the Lord. I yearn to be more like Jesus. The works that He promised us that He did even greater works doesn’t measure up to modern day Christianity no thanks to CONSTANTINE and the Roman Church !!!
My third eye has been opened and I walk in the spirit all day. I got filled w the Holy Ghost in a jail cell and I started speaking fluent in Aramaic and now I can even translate it. The world has always called the real prophets crazy, lunatics, telepathic and other things during their time of living on earth. Most think I’m crazy Bc the deep mysteries God speaks to me.

Did Moses, Joshua, Jesus or Peter practise Yoga to see in and by the SPIRIT ? If the Baptism of the Holy Spirit does the opening of the thirst eye, why do we need any “outside scripture” practises to open it either again or at all? I really appreciate your article a lot of people have had like you said a double mind I do as well so my experience has been in meditation depressing negative emptiness and I also had sleep paralysis my experiences when I started seeing entities and feeling them or around 8 years old anytime I go into a meditative state I become more intuitive I’m still having a hard time sleeping in a way I’m afraid of my own ability it scares me but I have to trust God the manifestation of God is through Jesus Christ these experiences got me closer to him only want to seek truth not satanic propaganda
Paraphrasing, nothing in your anatomy connects you with evil spirits, it’s in how you use it. TRUTH INDEED! Our bodies were made for good, but because we’re given free will, we can decide to do evil, in which case evil comes to a person. One of the ways we learn what is good or evil is through the scriptures (Deuteronomy 30:19 “I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing, therefore choose life”), but many have used scriptures to justify evil. An example would be in places like the U.S. where some, in their lust for power and wealth, have twisted scriptures meant to engender love, to instead justify evils like racism, oppression, and greed. The 3rd eye can help us see these people for the lost souls they’ve become, despite sometimes appearing to have temporal, material wealth and power. The 3rd eye helps is to look past outward appearances, into the inner workings of things. It’s meant for good, though it too can sometimes be used wrongly, in which case a person may become the evil spirit that they fear.

I was an atheist for a good portion of my life. And luckily I feel like God spared me. Depending on how you look at psychedelics. I was experimenting with drugs at the time. It gave me extreme anxiety. I felt extremely guilt for not acknowledging Gods presence all that time before. I always felt like I was a good decent person. But this was a different perception of myself and acknowledgement that I needed God and to surrender his will. Have I done the best since then? No. But I have been spending a lot of my free time devoted to searching for God. Getting closer with understanding I suppose is a better way or wording. I have a question. While meditating upon this and getting IMO a better understanding of the parables. One night I seen a blue plasma like light come into my room. My fiancée at the time seen this too. And no lol, I wasn’t on any kind of mind alternating substance at that time. Do you have any insight on blue faint light. This scared me at the time. More out of shock then anything. I wish I had handled it better. As I’ve never experienced anything super natural before. Like ghost/ angels or aliens. And my house is away from the road. Plus I was in a bedroom with shades and curtains closed on the windows. And this light moved independent of simply reflecting. I use the word plasma Bc it was like it was like plasma lamp movement in a way. Kinda electric. It was beautiful. I’ve read about orbs. And have intentionally not described this as a orb. Bc it didn’t have that perfect circular shape shown in photos.

I’m 44yrs old and for some reason as I grew older kids were always nice with me kind of like little angels but after addiction to meth now I hear evil things,voices, attacks on my body, dreams and strange things but I’m always blessed someway somehow and kids are still like little angels but life is stressful!!!Lord help me🙏

I have been reading into it that the tree of knowledge was actually of the spirit and that the authorities (as like Paul said dark spiritual powers on the earth) were actually the ones who said that it was wrong to eat of it when in fact the one true God did want them to eat of it so that they would no be ignorant, as those dark forces wanted them to be, but to be aware individuals and be able choose the light (truth) instead of being deceived by their darkness (ignorance, illusion). I left my body and I was taking up to this beautiful place and there was Jesus and Jesus was telling me about the third eye. What he said to me was enlightenment is not about whether you are psychic or not it’s about your love and devotion to God. There is nothing about the third eye in the whole Bible. This is new age nonsense. I know all the areas from the Bible that the new agers like to use to make this clam and they have nothing to do with a third eye. Just to put my two cents in yes I have open to my third eye and I have been trying to figure out how to use it correctly oh I was told that your body is basically a spacesuit the interior part of your body which is the energy the five who you are or what you are and that energy also helps you repair your body so you don’t have to go for medical help 24/7 you can repair yourself with the energy within your body. You also can heal other people doing the exact same thing by just giving the illness love and appreciation if you’re a good host to its it will be a good thing to you within you because you are the host of it. So just give it a little love appreciation kindness and then sends whatever illness on its merry way with the best karmic solution for the illness that you have. And always have love in your heart
In my opinion, this article is very deceiving since it portrays the third eye as a gift from God. I am starting an extensive research regarding the third eye because my brother, who is into spiritism was led by his spirit guide to open his third eye to experience more supernatural control over his life. The historical evidence shows that the third eye is initiated with Shiva, the third god of the Hindu Trinity (Trimurti, composed of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva). This in itself is a huge red flag for any Christian to stay away from this Hindu practice. The author of the article fails to explain how a Christian should “open” this third eye without a pagan practice. The Bible clearly teaches that the spiritual gifts that a Christian receives are given by The Holy Spirit; it’s not something we acquired by our efforts and spiritual accomplishments. The way we grow spiritually according to the Scriptures, is by spending time with God, via prayer, worship and reading and meditating in His Word only. It is my personal experience, as you draw closer to God, He draws closer to you (James 4:8) and it is this intimate relationship that leads to clearly discern God’s voice and follow His guidance. I have been a born again Christian for over 15 years and it is my personal testimony that as I have sought God with all my heart I have been blessed with spiritual gifts to discern spirits, receive supernatural words of knowledge, and witness healings after praying in the name of Jesus. I don’t have to work to receive a gift, but rather the gift comes in the moment the Lord sees it fit.

I liked this one, for sure. I don’t have a bible yet, so I can’t contribute from a biblical perspective, but I can say, axiomatically, that the third eye is indeed real. my aunt is preacher( pastor)they dont believe this. after i have spiritual awakening in 2021 i see holy spirits. i saw Jesus when i first do devotion prayer i close my eyes and saw him with mother Mary. then i saw him again in my dream he speak to me teaching me what to saw to cast out demon if someone get posses. in the bible Jesus teach his disciple how to cast out demons. but my family dont believe me and even against what i saw. i came into this article because i wanted to enhance my third eye i want to develop it more and this is enlighten me to pursue i dont care what my family said, i will continue to pray to God to give me this self awareness and conscious mind. i think is a beautiful gift from God. I believe we all were gifted with the 3rd eye but we have to keep growing to use it. It gets scary when you go towards the unknown but we are meant to. The holy spirit lives in me. I dont think I’m psychic I think it’s the holy spirit that speaks to me to tell me what my intuitive gifts are. It’s not me. It’s Jesus.
I have some respect to this man but as a true Born Again Christian, and Pastor etc I have been remarkably healed, delivered and changed by the healing power of God, to be Born Again (John 3:3). There is NO third eye to the believer but ONLY to walk in unison with the Holy Spirit and repent walking/living the narrow way. As a deep sinner, ex drug addict, ex alcoholic, ex prison etc and rock bottom at just 25yrs old I turned to Christ at 27. In 2018 an amazing thing happened to me (too long to go into the whole story) but it started with vivid dreams, when I woke, the meanings of the dreams were downloaded instantly to my mind then the amazing thing happened, I was wide awake but all of a sudden, it was like I had a third eye in the middle of my forehead where I was now looking into a spiritual realm that seemed vastly more real than this one. I then saw my dead brother and Jesus and both spoke to me. There was another part of this vision which was a little scary but overall, I left feeling wow as it was so real. It was a warning to me but also there was a message of hope. I’ve never experienced anything like this before but would love for it to happen again (without the scary part).

Yea I never understood why ppl saw demonic, it is a tool. Also demons are low vibrational entities, if you keep your energy and vibration high you filter out negativity as your aura is strong and repels negative vibrations and entities. I opened my third eye now my intuition is enhanced, I see ufos and my ears constantly ring. To open your third eye you gotta get goosebumps that builds your spirit. You need to go from cold to hot cold to hot keep doing that and play music fast don’t eat for three days or drink anything. Repeat over and over keep getting goosebumps.

Everyone when they think to themselves hears their thoughts as a “voice” in their head. You don’t see your thoughts as manifestations of letters, they manifest as words. That voice is your soul, and moral guide. I don’t care who you are when you do something that is wrong, that voice tells you. But God gave us the free will to ignore that voice, usually to our, or someone else detriment. But everyone knows when they are doing something wrong because your soul is your connection to God. Definitely agree. I grew up around so many well meaning Christians that chastised the concept of seeing because the modern church seems to treat almost all miracles as witchcraft since the spirit has been removed from the church. As long as we seek and only pray to God in all things and do not practice Theurgy (contacting/dealing with spirits other than God) there is no harm that I have been able to find in scripture. More than this too, God wants us to grow in wisdom and spiritual power so that we can behold His glory and become stronger warriors for His kingdom.
I’m seeing it with everything I contact with. It’s a bit spooky now but I’m not scared of this. Everything is there but it’s your will to seek/see it. I wanted to talk with the lord and something is trying to show me something an its showing me a lot. It’s like a holy code and I don’t fully understand but I get the idea.

I try to meditate every day at least once a day; I’ve always been very spiritual like my now angel mama, and being a hypersensitive empath, with INFJ personality being my personality type, my intuition has always allowed meditative states to come so easily and naturally to me. With that said, I have been able to almost completely open my third eye, and during seven of my meditation sessions, I was able to see and visit with my mama.🥹🥰💛 … well, I didn’t necessarily SEE her physical appearance, because I am aware that the spirit realm does not see physical appearances, I just saw a silhouette each time. I love my father God, but i still feel myself questioning so much. Not of god but the world around me. I feel like I’ve always had my thrid eye open. And I experience alot of darkness at night. I have nightmares and terrors. I see things that scare me. But I also feel like I can here God in these times. Idk what to think. As I say I question what really is happening. I have out of body experiences almost every night. I just dont know how to explain anything I see or feel. Is this evil or am I just more aware?

Once I did shrooms I had an outter body experience I seen a light over me It came there by my side I seen a different part whole part of myself in the spirit realm I guess I still had hatred for myself hatred for the world but with the help of Sophia my third eye glance opened itself/face of god and I seen a whole different world between good and bad at the time I didn’t really believe or had faith of anything I seen what was eating the flesh eating up the lies seeing a different side of myself that I guess something got latched on too myself I got scared myself until that I started following the water & started believing god why hide or be afraid until then I started meditating after from that experience myself and within just been slowly healing..

It doesn’t say you have a 3rd eye. It says “If your eye is SINGULAR, the whole body is full of light”. Do you have 3 eyes, 2 eyes, or ONE? You’re only “enlightened” if your eye is SINGULAR 🙂 Try and discern for yourself what that means. And when you can’t and you fail to correctly discern, then get truly enlightened by the Holy Spirit and He will show you what it truly means.

Seems presumptuous. You personally interpret scriptures that have nothing to do with Hindu rituals. If you believe Jesus was God in the flesh then you must believe in what the bible said to obtain everlasting life. I could be considered agnostic and coming from me — saying, “It’s ridiculous to entertain the theory that an open third eye is the mark of the beast” is saying, ‘a person is stupid for being skeptical and cautious with where they place their faith.’ You’re doing the same thing as establishment Christians by saying that they are all quick to condemn and demonize. Do you really believe that no establishment Christian can change their heart? Do you believe you’re God in the flesh? Do you grant yourself the right to judge others and know their minds and hearts? You don’t sound like what Jesus preached. You sound like what he preached against — Pharisees, hypocrites, and money changers who would monetize God and salvation. The minds eye is the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT over the life of the believer- Paul explains this as the mind of CHRIST. The issue we have in the CHURCH is the problem of mysticism. Too many folks have received knowledge from mystics and want the same experience in the CHURCH so they go hunting in the scripture to find and fit a narrative that will accommodate to peoples feelings and wants… Never bring what you hear in this world or receive from this world and apply it into the CHURCH and try and reason with it! I asked God to speak to me face to face. I was given a satori. I was not shown God. I was shown that I AM GOD. Just as Jesus said. And also that Jesus was no more special than you or I. Or the dirt we walk upon. But this gift has a dark side. You truly realize as a human you are on your own. There is no help coming. But I choose to see this as joyous. I am to blame for my failures. I just heard that part aboit knowing when things are coming I always feel when there is a shift, I feel that shit! And I tell people and they laugh it off. I say there’s a shift in setting, I didn’t know that THAT is what that was but it makes so much, SO MUCH sense, thank you thank you, I can’t begin to thank you for these lessons! This makes sense. When I would read the bible and watch shows about Jesus for long periods of time I would have crazy vivid dreams. One dream I had I went blind while I was driving and I was crying to my mom cause I didn’t know where I was at. My mom responded and said “don’t talk out loud the demons can hear you,” and I woke up.
There is no third Eye. There is only the I = EYE. The same vision that sees the so called dreams. The awareness of the EYE= I that sees All that is. The vision we call sight does not emanate from the second and third eyes for these don’t see. It’s the brain that actually sees. How does the blind man see? Innervision…. That power we call God. The Truth of sight and perception. Until it is opened within you, there is no means of sight. Real EYES…Knows there is only the ONE EYE….C and U shall know….❤
when i do meditation and trying openjng my third eye u fell like there is a dimensional running in my eyes and my eyes are getting hot idk why and my mind is vibrating then i can se light ..its like i ray of light suddenly moving and i fell like my body is magneting in this light because it fells like im moving..idk if this isthe feeling when opening third eye i cant explain it..it just weird for me because i feel heat in my foot… please help me i need answer plz..i saw some images amd faces too but i dont know who thery are and also some places but its not clear
Be careful. I was ‘attuned’ by a reiki healer when I was 21. I started to see many real faces when I closed my eyes. Because I had no training and wasn’t in a good place mentally at the time, the faces started to become more and more distorted, angry and demonic. Then I started having the lucid dreams. But not the good ones where you can fly or drive a Ferrari. More like I know I’m asleep but can’t wake up and there is a entity trying to kill me with it’s foreboding fear. The only thing that eventually made it back off was me stopping being afraid and telling it to fuck off and also praying to Jesus and god. We tap into frequencys like a radio and if you get stuck on the wrong station it can really fuck you up. Always strive for the highest frequency. There are low entities which would love to feed off your energy. In the material world we can change negative to positive instantly just by changing our thoughts. Lots of love!
The Third Eye is not physical, because it survives the death of the body. The body, specifically the head (where all senses come together) is its mold. The pineal gland is a critical piece, but not its entirety. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is filled with references to the third eye, mostly tied to wisdom, because intelligence without love is blindness. The Third Eye is directly tied to the Crown, for which the Bible also includes many references, including the 24 pairs or cranial nerves, amongst many others.
I have such a hard time thinking of all of the people who’ve been led to believe God would destroy them for using their given abilities. However, if you allow yourself to hold that belief powerfully enough, you would destroy yourself believing God did it to you. Another life, another learning opportunity. May all come behind man’s interpretations of pure love, for good or for ill. Love is God. God is Love. The Creator wants and is there best for us all. The greatest gift we’ve received, being given our opportunity to experience this state of consciousness called Earth, is the ability to feel love in every quantum bit of our living being. Learn to drown yourself in the feeling of love and use out once a day forever. You truly will come to have no need for all else, once you do.
I don’t like having it. I have mine closed coz I was told it is a curse… I even saw my boby sleeping once like I was floating looking at my body. Also, something like I could see with my eyes closed especially when I am asleep. It is crazy. It freaked me out. I see things… and these past few months I always see double numbers on clocks or where ever.
Beautiful article! I have had my faith tested over and over again but one article made more sense than anything iv ever heard from church. Like you said we have to see through cultural and societal impacts. Churches in my opinion are one of them. I always feel uneasy when speaking to alot of pastors. I realize now that be closer to God it’s not about going to church it’s about becoming one with my spiritual self and being the best person I could be. To let God’s love and compassion run through me and i around me. Im going to be looking more into the spiritual practice of Christianity and not the one that was taught to me from churches. I believe in higher power and im going to nurture my spiritual self so I may be able to communicate better with God himself and let his will run through me.
