I would use the original plug as well just when refilling . blocking the mouth piece with the original plug will make it less likely for e juice to leak into the mouth piece which will prevent gurgling and ejiuce in your mouth after the refill. in other words always keep one end plugged, weather you are refilling through the newly drilled hole or vaping it.
I would have to say with my experience since i bought 2 MOD’s I just simply drill 1 hole small enough to fit the fluid bottle spout, about size of nail, and just fill it up. I wipe top to make sure it’s clean and put a piece of clear scotch tape over it. Waallah ! 2 simple steps ! No leaks and tank last me a good 4 refills. I imagine the VP and PG need to be a certain standard to work well with refilling it. I can’t say on that part being the store i go to has sales on Mistic 2.0 fluid buy 1 get 1 free for $10. Some fluids probably don’t work with those tank coils. From my experience with other mOD’s i have and when switching fluid types in the middle of coil usage with my sub ohm tanks it would end up screwing up coils..
I’m sad to say, that on the 6th refill the tank suffered a major breach and can not be repaired effectively. The cracks appear in the plastic at the metal contacts on the bottom. After the cleaning, the tank also leaked more juice into the mouth piece (this may also have to do with the breach). I will use this knowledge in the future to try and rejuvenate future issues with tanks.
An update. After 5 refills i have decided to (temporarily) retire my original pod. Not because it went bad, but because i cracked the case. The coil is still going strong although it has become slightly harder to draw thru. The full story is that after the 4th refill i was alerted that i had a damaged battery unit. I returned the battery to Mistic which took about 3 weeks to get back. After its return i noticed a couple hair line cracks in the pod which i fixed and got another refill out of. Last night i discovered another leak and decided to use one of the new ones. I may return the original to service after i fix the cracks. I also cleaned the pod with warm water and it cleaned up nicely. After it drys and is reconditioned I will consider giving it another life. I really am curious how long the coils will last.
Lord have mercy…. Walgreens has pods for $11 as opposed to $26. Which is crazy expensive for 10ml of 4mg juice. It looked like an actual device. I didn’t open box before buying it. Dont think they would have let me anyways. Praying there’s another vlog that doesnt involve a drill and having to remove plastic debris. I’m trying to extract juice for another device.
