Critical strike is a basic attack or ability that deals more damage than usual, and it requires at least two assassins on your team. This allows you to deal 200 damage to the enemy, only applied on auto attacks, not on spells. Physical spells can no longer be dodged and can now crit without an item like Jeweled Gauntlet. Attacks and spells from Mirage units critically strike units below a health threshold that increases at breakpoints.
The core crit Damage formula is 1 + (crit chance * crit Damage), which represents your average damage output with crit. The holder gains 20 bonus critical strike damage and 100 critical hit chance. The Jeweled Gauntlet (Redesigned) allows holder’s spells to crit and holder gains +30 Critical Strike Damage. Your team gains 15/40 Critical Strike chance, and their Abilities can critically strike.
A critical strike is a passive ability that gives a chance to deal bonus damage on a successful attack. Crit chance works for all skills, whether it be throwing spell or melee. Crit multiplier works for all skills, whether it be throwing spell or melee. In Cata, all DoTs, HoTs, and channeled spells will be affected by Crit and Haste.
Healers can crit and provide more healing potential, but this is never a consideration for players when building healers. If someone rolls a critical strike, critical damage will be dealt to all targets hit by that skill.
