For those visiting the park in the morning to early afternoon, Multi Pass is a better option than Genie+. However, for late afternoon or evening visits, Genie+ is less beneficial as it loses the ability to stack more than three in advance and subjected to tiering. However, guests cannot reserve the same ride twice in one day and there are limits on the frequency of reservations. If a Lightning Lane is reserved but not used, it is considered “used”. • I was nervous about using it and annoyed that I was going to have to spend time booking our Lightning Lanes in the parks, but I ended up loving it. I just set an alarm on my phone for every two hours, and when it was time to book a new Lighting Lane it was usually while we were waiting to get on a ride, so it was no big deal and we ended up skipping way more lines than we ever did with FastPass+.

  • Haha thanks for this article ! Me and my son (5th bday) went to Disney last week for a week and were able to do 13+ attractions with LL at Magic Kingdom in one day. 🎉🎉 (I used this article to strategize) As soon as we used one we booked a next and made sure to book accordingly. We also tried to make sure we did consecutive rides in the same part of the park. What was good if rides weren’t in the same area was that 1 hour window you get to redeem your lanes. I think because we stayed at the hotel it didn’t matter to book at 7 we made sure to buy before 9 am. Went to the parks around 11/12 each day and got to do almost everything rides, shows, parades, fireworks etc Thank you DFB!

  • As a BIG Disney fan, who is only able to take their family to WDW once every year or two, I’m a big supporter of Genie +. Once you’ve used it once, it’s so simple after. We booked every ride & rode stand by for the filler attractions. I was not on my phone all day. The price of it stinks but I will still pay it for my family to be able to do all that we want to do with no waiting in lines. Oh and ALWAYS mobile order your food!!!

  • Friend and I used it today at Magic Kingdom. Booked 10 attractions and didn’t need it for a lot of other stuff. I realize crowd levels are low and I’m sure that played a part in it. Today was only my 2nd time using and I would have to give a thumbs up. I think perusal tip articles on YouTube did help.

  • After you try to get a Tron Virtual Queue, Get a Peter Pan or Jungle Cruise LL as your first one in the morning. And so long as you are consistent every couple hours with booking the next ones the rest fall into place pretty well and use the extra morning hours to hit low hitters and you will be fine. I love Genie Plus, it makes the day pass much easier for me, I find time for breaks for ambience, snacks, and to see shows.

  • One thing to keep in mind: if you are in a wheelchair but can still ride rides, you get a free genie+ version for free! I discovered this by accident when I injured myself right before a Disney trip (foot injury, I could hobble/hop but not really walk) and when I rented the wheelchair they informed me I got the disability version of lighting lanes for free. Works about the same–go to a ride, get a call-back time, can only do one at a time; or you go in a much shorter disability lane. I do NOT recommend faking this or injuring yourself deliberately, but for those who can take advantage, hey, makes a sucky situation better ya?

  • This is an outrageous system. No one should have to do homework to enjoy a day at the parks. This is vey unfair to anyone who isn’t a Disney fanatic familiar with these systems, such as someone traveling internationally who doesn’t speak English. There’s 4/5 different types of lines with Genie+, lightning lanes, virtual queues, standby, and single rider, it’s maddening.

  • Have just come back from our first ever trip to WDW. I was really concerned I wouldn’t understand the whole genie plus but we had the greatest time. I really didn’t feel like we were on the phone all the time. It was fun really to plan the day using ILL, genie, standby and rope drop. We did all the rides we wanted to, didn’t feel rushed and felt quite chill really. Had time to take it all in and really enjoy….I can’t help but feel we might be back 😁

  • i just came back from WDW trip yesterday. Everything was great but there were too many people that would just stop as soon as they tap in to look at their phone. Completely oblivious to their surroundings. I mean many times they were getting frustrated that they cant book the next one, not realizing they have to tap in again at a 2nd point. but yeah, genie + was great at magic kingdom.

  • We watched several articles on this website prior to our Disney World trip and we just got back. First off, the parks were PACKED and the weather was incredible, so we expected problems and major crowds. With that said, we followed the tips on the Ear Scouts articles exactly and they worked PERFECTLY. I can’t begin to explain how helpful these tips and tricks were. We went to Magic Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios and we experienced EVERY attraction at both parks! The wait times were staggering, but with Genie Plus and Ear Scouts, we had an incredible time. For anyone that has doubts….. believe me….. this strategy works! Thanks again Ear Scouts!! Even without future trips planned for now, I will continue perusal your content.

  • Rob, you deserve a huge thanks!! My family of three just got back from a hugely successful vacation to all four theme parks using ALL of your major strategies: Genie+, “Buzzer Beater”, “Tip Boards”, “Genie Slots / Modify Plan”, Mobile Food Orders, and using Stand By on a Tier 2 ride (like Soarin’) rather than a Tier 1 ride at general park open for the easy initial “walk on” were all invaluable in securing the best experience possible! We park hopped Epcot & Hollywood Studios. Then, two days later, we park hopped Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom. I nailed the 7AM Virtual Queue within that critical “5 second window” BOTH days to ride Guardians of the Galaxy and Tron — both rides were two of our favorites. When we did Epcot, we road the rides in the front part of the park in the morning, then did the Around the World “food tour” with rides Remy and Frozen. I had a list of all of your Epcot Flower & Garden Graze “excellent” and “great” food recommendations so we didn’t waste time and money. You were spot on! At mid-afternoon, we park hopped with the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. I started booking Lightening Lanes at Hollywood Studio after 11AM and was able to get all but Slinky Dog Dash as that was gone by 11AM and never reappeared as available the rest of the day. We ended up choosing Fantasmic rather than Star Wars Rise of the Resistance for the “Buzzer Beater”. At Magic Kingdom, The Tron ride broke down in the afternoon so I went to Guest Services and they were able to give us a full day virtual queue pass on the ride should it come back up after we park hopped to Animal Kingdom.

  • I wanted to say THANK YOU! We used the tips you gave in this article to plan our day. Using the Genie Plus and having an 8-year-old was a blessing. If anyone have every done Disney with a small child, you know the headache that brings. Using what we learned here. We managed to do 20 rides,3 shows, and dinner. All in one day. It was amazing. It was better than Disney during Covid. Which I didn’t think was possible. Also, we saw you at Epcot on 8/5/23 and thought about stopping you to say thank you personally. However, we didn’t want to interfere with your day. So, thank you for your articles. They truly made our trip this past week to Disney one to remember for all the right reasons.

  • Just want to say THANK YOU! We didn’t arrive at MK our first day until 1pm and still got to ride everything except for Jungle Cruise and that’s only because I wanted to do it during the day. Other wise Tron, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Buzz, and so many more without extra magic hours too! Love this! 🎊

  • Thanks for making an updated MK Genie+ article. We are going in less than 30 days to WDW! We haven’t been back since 2018, so I have been perusal your articles on Genie+ to learn how to use it the best and because you make it seem less intimidating to navigate. I’m just worried that the stress of making sure we are using efficiently and getting the most out of this paid service will make this trip less magical than our previous visits, especially since this will likely be our last visit for many, many years to come.

  • 0:46 Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to the Ear Scouts team for all the great advice! We used the strategies you showed for using genie + across all the parks and the No genie no problem tips to make the most out of our trip. I genuinely think we wouldn’t have had half as much fun (or managed to ride half as many rides) without your invaluable advice, so we are super grateful for all your help! Looking forward to seeing your Paris articles when they come😁

  • Rob, our trip (actually in the middle of it on 06-05-23) has been SO Wonderful bc of you!! Thank you! Your info, G+ tips, tricks, are working perfectly. Icing was that I happened to see you at HS yesterday 6-04. TU for the pic! My daughter arrived today all green eyed, lol. Just ordered my Think Happy Thoughts tote, thank you!

  • Injust want to say thank you for ALL YOUR ADVICES! We just came back from Disney and we played Genie slots and were able to get on all rides!!! Love your articles!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work! We just realized our last day at Animal kingdom you were there but we learned it when we got to our hotel 😢.

  • I’ve been to Disney 3 times now with genie. The first time it was a fail, the second time I used your tips and did much better, the third time I only had one day because during the second time Disney closed for a hurricane and they gave us the unused ticket. I went back for Tron. Using all your tips we were 25 in the virtual cue. In one day, we road all the E ticket rides and saw all the shows we wanted to see. Had plenty of time for fireworks and attended a desert party. Best day ever. Thanks for all the tips.

  • Hello! I just want to thank you for your articles. This one in particular helped me immensely. I’m not a Disney person per se, but I definitely think (if you have the means available) that it’s a wonderful thing for children to experience. Your articles ensured our one day visit to Magic Kingdom was efficient and thorough. Throughout the day while I was waiting for my next Genie+ booking I kept hearing your advice, “just enjoy the park”. It worked marvellously. We rode all the major attractions, saw the parade, had lunch at the castle, and were out of there by 6pm. This is what YouTube was made for. Passionate, well informed people giving solid actionable advice. Again, thank you. While I’m from the US, I have been living abroad for the last ten years and you my friend made the trek worth it. Cheers!

  • My heartfelt thanks to you . I am in magic kingdom today . Would have been a frustrating experience if I had not watched ur articles and learned to work the LL, genie +. Today is a very busy day . On average, standby time Asaa between 60- 75 minutes . Did not wait for more than 10 minutes in the LL lanes. I watched your articles several times since November to understood all the nuts and bolts of working the app. It paid off . Extremely satisfied .

  • Hi Rob, We just got back from Disney over the TG holiday weekend. I have to say your vids helped us tremendously. I dont like everything about Genie+ but it did work out well for us using the strategies you recommended. We were able to get on almost every ride we wanted at Epcot, AK and MK. I do feel like some of it was just dumb luck but most of it was paying attention and working the app for the best times. Thank you for your advice. It really made a difference!

  • Mr. Ears. You are an absolute LEGEND. Just got back from a family vacation in orlando. We’re from Canada. We hit up all the Disney parks. I watched all your 2023 Park articles before going and WOW were they so helpful! Playing those genie slots were the highlight of my trip! Haha I was able to get my group of 5 way better return times. It was incredible. Thank you thank you for all your tips and tricks! It seriously made our vacation so much better!!!!!!!! You da man

  • Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the tips. MK, and Hollywood were both packed this week, and with your help we were able to ride every ride. The only thing that I had to change when we played the slots, was just sticking to one ride. I lost every time given when I played the slots, but when I switched to just one ride, and clicking back and forth from the return time and confirmation page, I won every time. I even passed on your tips to other guest that were struggling with the system. Thanks again, my family very much appreciated all your help!!!

  • My daughter just graduated from high school and we are headed to Disney tomorrow. I am excited to bring my girls back to Disney as teenagers rather than toddlers. They are totally old enough to play “slots” in Disney. I was overwhelmed when I watched the official Genie Plus articles, but your articles are so helpful and fun. Love your thematic ears for sure. THANK YOU!!

  • I am so thankful to ears scout, this last monday we went to magic kingdom (I mean during spring break) and we were able to ride around 10 rides before 5 pm. These tips and tricks like playing with the slots and grabbing the right now ride and then use it to modify plan option is so powerful. We are from México and maybe for us this is once-in-life trip, so my family and I had such a wonderful experience thanks to this guy!!. Good look to everyone and enjoy this magic place!!

  • Rob, I found your website and I am so thankful. I have planned to go to WDW since I was 10! I moved away to the east coast from my beloved Disneyland and season passholder status when I was 5 (grew up near Anaheim). As I got older I was always intimidated by the price and tips/tricks of WDW, but the way you deliver and give information has made me pull the trigger to fufill my dream Disney vacay. You’re young once, the love of my life and I have no kids, and we are in a position to spend money and earn it back. I am so excited and feel well prepared to share a dream vacation we both have been missing since we were kids- with the help of you. Can’t thank you enough.

  • You are so funny and fun to watch! Plus… excellent editing as always! What date was this? Curious about the crowd level. I always love the montage at the end!! Did you honestly hike the Swiss Family Treehouse stairs at 9:30pm?! I’m excited to send this article to a friend who is heading to WDW in a few weeks… I was going to sit down and give her a 5 hour Genie+ lesson, but this oughta do the trick 😊 Thank you!!

  • Hi Rob, yesterday was my last day in the Disney parks. I just have to say thank you so much! Me and my BF had such a great time and your tips where amazing, I played genie slots like a pro and got amazing time (by 5pm I was able to do all the most popular attractions) It also help me to ride 2 times in guardians, avatar and rise of the resistance.

  • Your articles, this one in particular, was so easy to follow and gave great insight on how to maximize Genie+. I love the “think of it as a game” tip and I actually had fun trying to score lightening lanes all day…and I did! We rode everything thing we wanted within an ideal time frame. Our experience would have been completely different if I had not watched your articles. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

  • Hello! Your articles are great. My family and I are going to Disney for our first time. I purchased a park hopper and we’re going for only 1 day. Our group includes 2 adults, a 9 year old boy and twin 5 year old girls. Here’s my questions, should we go to MK first or another park? Can some of our group book genie+ separately for different rides?

  • Have been perusal myriad articles regarding our upcoming trip to Disney World. I have been going to Disney World since the early 1970s and your articles are hands-down, the most informative and comprehensive. Thank you for all your hard work!. However, something tells us you’re having a whole lotta fun doing this anyway. L O L!

  • THANK HEAVENS for this article! I am going to subscribe and check your website for more! We are going to Disney World (first time) in a week and I only remember lightning lanes in DisneyLand in 2019. SO I am very confused with all these new features and now to get the most out of them and the day! WE planned one day for each park and will purchase Genie Plus. I hope I will get this down before we go LOL! THANKS SO MUCH!

  • Thank you so so sooo much for this article! You are a life saver. I have been stressed about genie+/ lightning lane. Other YouTube articles just confused me even more! Your article is so helpful. You are so good at explaining this process so it doesn’t intimidate me. I know my Disney experience is going to be so much better thanks to your help!

  • We just came back from our first ever Holiday Disney Trip with our 5yr old. I wanted to thank EarScouts for these amazing tutorial articles I have been perusal for weeks in preparation. We spent one day each in Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios, plus the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party, and thanks to what I learned here and the tips we were able to do everything on our bucket list and without rushing around, feeling all stressed, and waiting in super long lines. Thank you guys so much for helping to make this trip Magical for me and my family!

  • Thank you Rob! Great articles. I have a question. On this specific day in question, was the app blocked for you all the way up until you entered the park? I’m just wondering if a gremlin appears at 7:00am, do i continue to try and refresh and hope it opens up or would you just do your strategy that you show in this article. Thank you!!

  • Hi. New to the Disney World tips and tricks here. I see that you rope dropped jungle cruise. Was this at park opening, since Adventureland is not open for early entry rope drop? I am a little confused with your strategy since only two sections of the park are open for Early Entry rope drop. We plan on doing the early entry as we are staying on property.

  • Thanks so much for these articles! 2 questions – for those rides with right away LL, how long were the posted standby times? Just trying to see how much time was saved. Is the whole party locked in if some have a lightning lane booked? My 5 year old isn’t tall enough for space mountain, so my husband is taking our 7 year old. I think that means they use the entire LL “slot”, correct?

  • Hi Robert, I wanted to tell you that without you we wouldn’t have had an awesome vacation. We loved your tips and tricks and specially your slots trick. We watched your articles so many times that we felt you were part of our family and we named you ” uncle bob”😂.We got the 2 virtual queues in magic kingdom and Epcot (on Epcot we got cosmic rewind on group 4). Thank you so much for your contribution! PS: after perusal your articles so many times my mom dreamt about you 😮😅 thanks a lot!!!

  • Just back from a trip with my 12 yr old. Your article was MAGIC and we rode all the rides until we dropped. Even got THREE experience redemptions thanks to your trick. Amazing. SO very grateful for this article. PS Tbh, I had to watch this article like three times to feel confident, but it was so worth the time.

  • Hi Rob! Love the article. I can’t seem to find the answer to this Genie+ question. We are traveling in a few months and can’t seem to find when we can book our next lightning lane when we’re using rider swap. We plan to buy genie+ for everyone, and have read where to go to let a cast member know we want to use rider swap… but when can we book the next LL?! Do we have to wait until everyone has scanned in, i.e. after the first whole party has gotten off the ride and the next party scans in?! Thank you so much, and thank you for all your help in these articles, which is what brought me to having this question in the first place! I love how prepared you have made me feel. 😊

  • I just finished 5 days at Disney and playing the slots absolutely made our trip! I was skeptical of how well it would work with a party of 4 but playing the genie slots got us on all the big rides with great times! Plus playing at getting a great prize was so much fun. Thank you so much for your awesome articles and info!!!!

  • Wow your article is incredible! If I want to follow your strategy If I don’t encounter a LL gremlin like you for Jungle Cruise and get a late return what do I do to close that big gap? What would you rope drop instead? I like how you moved around. Different route than I’d normally do. Thank you! I feel more confident in my first time using Genie Plus because of this article. Still slightly anxious but not as much!

  • Thanks for these tips!!! Can you explain the bonus lightning lane again plz? So if you book a lightning lane that is down and stays down, Disney gives you the opportunity to choose 2 (TWO) other rides in the place of the 1 you lost? Or is it just a choice to use 1 (one) LL at another attraction for the one you lost?

  • Great new update, Rob. Did pick up more on the modify reservation system. That will really help. Yes, give us a article on Buzz scoring. I usually get decent scores, but have never maxed out. Sounds like you do it all the time! Wow. Ursula and I will hopefully see you in August to thank you in person. Will be our first Tron experience. Best, Ron (going to DW since when I was a kid in 1974!).

  • Thanks so much for this! I am currently planning our first trip of only 3 days and Magic Kingdom is unfortunately our afternoon-only park. I am gonna buy Genie+ while in Animal Kingdom in the morning & stack for Magic Kingdom in the afternoon, so knowing what to prioritize is incredibly helpful. I’m a little scared at some of our favorites running out since I’ll be stuck using 2 hour rule. Wish us luck!

  • Thank you so much for all of your tips for using Genie Plus and navigating Disney World in general! Our family just spent 2 days in the parks and did everything on our list and more! We could not have done it without perusal your articles first! A nice ending to our day was riding the Mine Train after the fireworks with only a 15 minute wait. 😀 Thank you!

  • Dude!! You put the King into Kingdom! That was amazing, and this is coming from a tried and true Disneyland fanatic! Props to you, seriously 🎉 On another note, I am bringing my rookie family (2 8 yr olds, 2 12 yr olds, and 33 yr old son) to blast through all the parks next week, and your articles are going to SAVE our trip! I’m getting so excited to use your strategies, tips, and tricks to give them the best👏🏼days👏🏼ever👏🏼!! Thanks so much, and maybe we’ll see you around the parks making your articles😊

  • Another great article like always! I can’t believe there are still more tricks to be learned. I just had a question about what happened when you got Winnie the Pooh. I know you got an experience redemption lightning lane and you could pick anything on the list. Can you pick something on the list AND still get on Winnie the Pooh later when it opens up again? I thought I saw you had booked Winnie the Pooh again at 3:30ish so I wasn’t sure if you pick some thing else for your experience redemption if you lose the original ride that went down. Hope this makes sense. Just confused how it allowed you to book it twice.

  • Hi Rob ! We’ll be in WDW for the first time next month. So excited with this 30 years dreamed trip 🤩 Thanx for your articles, really helpful to prepare this trip, we are Disneyland Paris Pass Holders for decades, but WDW is totally different to plan ! After perusal this article, I have a question. Because of my english not always perfect, I didn’t understand how did you get the bonus LL..? Thanx again for all your tips ! 🙂

  • Hi Rob, can i ask…what is the benefit of booking a ‘right now’ ride to modify it to something u really want…would the return times for the ride u really want not be the same whether u book it outright or modify it from something else? Your articles are so informative, feel like I’ve really got genie+ sorted for the most part!

  • Thank you for this wonderful article! I have a question for you. Your point about the two tap points on Peter Pan reminded me of this. I have a big family and one of the problems I run into is that if we scan in for a Lightning Lane and then I want to book our next one before we actually get on the ride, my wifi goes out and I can’t do it. This happens on rides where we have to go underground, such as Haunted Mansion and Pirates (the worst one is Indiana Jones at Disneyland) because it’s hard to walk and book our next ride and keep up with my family. Do you have any tips for this?

  • Great tips and tricks, they worked well for us last year!! thank you! The park didnt look that busy in this article which i think was filmed in may, could you do a sort of comparison article of your experience on a typical day in mid august when the park is jammed with people? When we were there in august 2022, i think we got in about 5 to 6 rides with lightning lane, so not nearly as many as we saw here. But we were happy with our day 😎

  • Hi, Rob!! I leave in 2 weeks to take my daughter on a mother / daughter trip as her graduation gift from high school. Thank you so much for sharing all of your tips and tricks. I was a fastpass expert so hopefully I can navigate Genie+ as well. I do have a question. If I have 2 credit cards loaded in the MDE app, and purchase ILL will it allow me to choose which card is charged? Or do I need to ensure that the card I want used is primary?? Thanks for everything!! Hope I will bump into you in the parks.

  • !Hello! can you please confirm some things?: 1:yes or no: This seems to work very similarly to FP+ if you were on top of it to get the most churned times. 2. how many reservations can you have for a day ? The website says 2-3 but you seem to be doing more.. 3. how many can you hold at 1 time? 4. can you add more as you go with some in the later day like you could with fp+? This is our first time back to the parks since 2019. A lot have changed.

  • My wife and I just got back from Disney World and we used the tips provided by Ear Scouts for Genie Plus and even though you only get to ride a ride once per day through Genie Plus we were able to strategize and ride most rides twice. Genie Pluss will tell you that you will probably get to ride 3-4 rides by using it’s services, but with the tips from these articles we were able to ride 9 rides all in one day. We did not stay at a Disney resort and still had time to do all this before leaving at 6pm. Please watch and follow the tips and guidance given as it worked perfectly for us!

  • Brand new here and I have a lot of learning to do but my first question after perusal this article is, how does it work with a larger party? Does each person have to make the arrangements or can one person sign up for the ride for everyone? Going with a group of 7. Two kids, 5 adults. ( 2 are grandparents and won’t want to be on their phone that much)

  • Thanks for the tips! When modifying a LL, is the one you are modifying safe until you choose one to switch too? Or is there ever a period of time where you could lose your existing LL and not get the new one you clicked on (not counting unexpected gremlin issues)? I don’t want to be scared of modifying them if I don’t have to be!

  • Thank you for this updated article! I’m looking forward to the next 3! Going soon. 😀 Thanks, Rob, for making this less scary. A travel agent recommended your website. Great advice! Are there any tips for getting to the parks mid-morning or in the afternoon? With two young adult children, rope drop is not going to work! Uncertain as to the best way to use Genie + with that late of a start time. Any advice is appreciated!

  • MK needs to make some adjustments in order to improve Genie+ IMO. Splash under construction for retheme. Tron virtual queue only. 7DMT ILL. Really limits the top choices for Genie+ purchasers. Peter Pan, Jungle Cruise or Space Mountain. Just seems like it’s lacking a few major selections. Great tips! You guys continue to put out great content…

  • Hey Rob (and everyone)! Is there a great place you’d suggest doing a 6yo’s Birthday dinner? I’ll be taking my son there in JAN, and trying to find a fun spot. We’re staying at the Contemporary, and we plan to rope-drop MK that Wednesday, with a rest period in the afternoon + Birthday dinner and extended evening hours. It doesn’t need to be a character dinner, and I don’t really think Be Our Guest or Cinderella ‘s Royal Table will totally be his thing (mostly for the fancy food, idk). I thought ‘Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew’ would be cool but it seems to be unavailable. HELP. Ha.

  • Thanks Rob, wondered if you could help with situation that’s different from any of your articles. I have a question on timing. I’ve been noticing the changing patterns in the parks with smaller crowds in late April and May. I’m already planning for a late august trip where I’ll be with my daughter and two teen grands. The plan is to do not so scary on a Friday night . As a result, the rest of the party will be sleeping in on Saturday and going to Hollywood late while I do early morning at animal kingdom and join them after 2 at Hollywood. That means at 7 I’ll have to do reservations for 1 at avatar and either Navi or safaris. And also do after 2 reservations for 4 on rise and 3 on slinky. Any suggestions on order I should try for. It’s months away and I already feel stressed. Lol

  • Thanks. Your ideas worked however when you have bigger groups it doesn’t go as smoothly. Best tip was to look for down rides. We did this after we used up everything possible in the late afternoon. Just kept picking it over and over. We ended up riding Big Thunder mountain 4 times in an hour because of the free rides for the inconvenience of a ride booked being down… But Disappointing on Disney’s part. You pay a lot of Money and all the slots started running out by 3pm. This is criminal in my opinion. Also having Genie+ and then having to buy lightening rides additionally is not nice…

  • I am still a bit confused with the two hour waiting period. Let’s say at 7 AM I book my first lightning Lane for jungle Cruise at 8:40 because we have early access, so do I have to wait two hours before booking my next lightning Lane or will it allow me to book it after I tap my magic band at jungle Cruise at 8:40? or I book my 8:40 AM jungle Cruise lightning lane and then I need to wait two hours from the park opening at 9 AM and get to pick my next lightning Lane at 11 AM? And then with the park hopper does the park hopper start at 2 PM? I book my first lightning Lane say for 2:10pm and then, as soon as I tap my magic band at that 2:10 PM I can book the next one or do I have to wait two hours from the park hopper time which is 2 PM on the dot?

  • I think you articles are amazing and you have so many great recommendations! ****Would you be up for a challenge? Try booking a breakfast at 8am at MK and then see if it helps you get into the park for early open in a good position OR if it puts you behind. What do you think? I am curious if it makes sense!

  • Doesnt seem like much of a hassle free vaction to me. Personally trying to get the attention of the poolside waiter is the biggest pain i force myself to endure on holidays . Having to constantly be tapping away on my phone is what im trying to get away from . Not be doing even more of it to avoid queues . Which you still have to do anyway

  • We are going to be heading to Disney in September. I really would like to know tips and tricks for park hopper option with genie+ for Tron and Guardian of galaxy. Your articles have really helped so far understanding what we are getting ourselves into 😂 I didn’t know it was this complicated to go to Disney parks and this is our first time! So really thankful for this website !!! ❤

  • Universal is so much better. Literally just get the pass with free valet and fast pass after 4 for like $900. No blackouts and a free Halloween horror nights ticket . I just purchased the Disney pirate passes for my family and now looking at this I think Disney was a mistake. 😂 thank god for universal studios!
