What Effect Does Your Chakras Have From The Kundalini Rising?

Kundalini awakening is a powerful spiritual experience where the dormant energy at the base of the spine is activated and rises through the seven chakras. This process can lead to a surge of creativity, inspiration, and insight. The first stage involves activating the serpent kundalini shakti, which lies at the base of the spine, to travel to the crown chakra or the top of the head.

The practice of kundalini yoga awakens this latent energy, sending it up along the Sushumna Nadi, joining with Shiva or the divine consciousness. The wakened kundalini moves through various chakras, including the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third-eye, and crown chakras. As the kundalini rises, all of the chakras are activated, and the life energy forms a circuit in the body.

Kundalini awakening originates from the child of the Earth and begins the journey from child to child. The sensation is like a ball of energy that pierces each main energy center on its way to the crown. The energy can rise to the 2nd or 5th point in Sushumna and then go out of the Nadi(s) and flow out. The flow after awakening is from Muladhara Chakra to Ajna Chakra (Third Eye), touching all chakras and opening them one by one.

Once Kundalini awakens, she purifies the body, mind, and spirit as she rises to the crown. Traditional spiritual practices would clear the energy channels, but Kundalini awakening is a powerful spiritual experience that can lead to significant benefits.

How do you deal with kundalini rising?

To control kundalini energy, it is essential to stop spiritual practices that over-stimulate the spine, find a good spiritual counselor, mentally surround yourself with light, keep a picture of a great master or saint, pray deeply for help, get plenty of exercise and fresh air, ground yourself in nature, lead a balanced life, get plenty of rest, eat a well-balanced diet with enough protein, learn how to deal with stress, be expansive and think of others, avoid intense self-involvement, and don’t be afraid.

Sometimes, all that is needed is a slight course correction in your meditation routine and/or daily life. Remember that God is with you and guiding you through this experience, and everything will work out for the best in time. What happens when kundalini rises?

Human beings are an “organic atom” with a tremendous amount of energy packed within them. The Kundalini awakening or rising signifies the technology of tapping into this energy, but it requires stability and caution. This is similar to learning to operate nuclear energy, as seen in the Japanese situation.

To tap into this energy, one must be on stable ground, as it can cause trouble if not in the right kind of situations. Many people have read about the Kundalini awakening, but they do not experience it personally. If they crack this energy open and cannot contain it, it can destroy their entire system in no time, and others around them could be greatly harmed.

Kundalini is a tremendous thing, but anything that is tremendous must be conducted with utmost care and caution. Every aspect of yoga, even activities like jumping for 10 minutes or playing football, can activate Kundalini to some extent. In moments of absolute involvement in a game, people show a phenomenal sense of energy, which is not possible for them in normal situations. However, consciously trying to crack the Kundalini open and use it is a different business that requires absolute control and guidance.

In summary, Kundalini awakening or rising is a powerful tool for tapping into the energy within humans, but it requires careful and controlled use.

What does kundalini awakening feel like?

A kundalini awakening is a significant shift in one’s life, characterized by increased pranic energy, powerful emotions and thoughts, and changes in behaviors, relationships, and perceptions. This awakening can manifest in various ways, such as increased energy in the body, physical sensations like tingling, shaking, heat, and changes in perceptions. Teachers and students can observe these signs, such as increased energy, goosebumps, powerful emotions and thoughts, and a greater sense of spiritual awareness.

Intuition can also increase, and vivid dreams or lucid dreaming can occur. Out-of-body experiences can occur, and psychic abilities can be enhanced. The initiative to practice non-violence can also be initiated. A deep sense of interconnectedness with all things can be experienced, and a sudden urge for change can occur. Acceptance of reality and the desire to serve others altruistically can also occur.

Deep compassion for all life is also evident, as is the ability to communicate freely and honestly. A sense of deep connection to nature, divinity, or a higher universal power can also be experienced. A deep sense of peace and calm can be experienced, and tears of indescribable joy, awe, and devotion can be experienced.

What are the sensations of the kundalini rising?

The study of kundalini-related phenomena has been a subject of extensive research, with a framework developed by Sannella in 1992. The four main categories of physio-kundalini experiences are motor, sensory, interpretive, and non-physiological. Motor phenomena include spontaneous movements, audible vocal outbursts, unusual breathing patterns, and frozen postures. Sensory phenomena include somatosensory sensations, temperature, inner lights, visions, and inner sounds.

Interpretive phenomena involve unusual or extreme emotion, distortions of thought process, detachment from typical thoughts, feelings, and sensations, potentially leading to delusions. Non-physiological phenomena include out-of-body experiences and paranormal “psychic” perceptions.

To measure kundalini-related phenomena, researchers have developed the Kundalini Awakening Scale (KAS), which consists of 76 items organized into five subscales (Changes, Negative experiences, Positive experiences, Involuntary positionings, and Physical symptoms) and a Total score. The KAS items were generated from four primary sources: personal descriptions of presumed kundalini effects, clinical data, a theoretical conception, and spiritual emergency work.

Several studies have examined the effects of meditation on KAS, finding a positive association between negative experiences and overall KAS scores. In a primarily student population, greater weekly time spent practicing meditation was associated with higher KAS Total scores. The presence of greater KAS Physical symptoms scores is considered a possible distinguishing feature of kundalini-related involvement in spiritually transformative experiences. Additional scales associated with kundalini experiences have been developed in the context of clinical conditions.

Does kundalini awaken all chakras?

Kundalini, derived from the Sanskrit word “kundal”, symbolizes a circular energy, similar to a coiled snake. Yoga practitioners believe that Kundalini energy is activated by certain postures at the base of the spine, moving up along the spine and activating the other six Chakras. According to Yogic philosophy, the human body has seven Chakras, including the Solar Plexus, which is located on the stomach area.

What are the side effects of the kundalini awakening?

Kundalini awakening has the potential to precipitate a range of psychological and emotional disturbances, including intensified unresolved conflicts, heightened fear of death or insanity, pronounced mood swings, heightened sensitivity to others’ moods, and confusion.

What is the end result of the kundalini awakening?

Kundalini awakening is an energetic developmental syndrome that follows the brain’s evolution, resulting in reptile-like symptoms like heat and cold, mammal-like symptoms like body shaking, cognitive symptoms like dissociation, and spiritual symptoms like ego dissolution. The Buddhist tradition describes four domains for spiritual awakening: meditation, bodily sensations, feelings, cognitions, and spirituality. Kundalini awakening leads to a momentary state with spiritual qualities, while all other states of mind and body remain available.

Some symptoms of kundalini awakening are similar to symptoms of psychiatric diagnoses like panic attacks, depression, and PTSD. The process of kundalini awakening is not without risk, with social media circulating horror stories about its terrifying impact. Some authors report intense crises before reaching a state of equanimity, and some may get stuck in a phase during purification. Reality testing as an important faculty for mental health can be distorted, and there are reports of merging with psychiatric diagnoses like bipolar disorder.

Embedded in yoga or meditation practice, the risk of complications is contained and minimized. The psychological labeling of kundalini awakening symptoms is part of the yoga or meditation tradition, providing support for the individual to go further through the process. Several yoga and meditation traditions, such as kundalini yoga, Kriya yoga, and Osho Kundalini meditation, explicitly facilitate the awakening of kundalini.

  • This is just beautiful. Recently, it has been a rough time emotionally for me and not much having to do with the outside world (which actually, has nothing to do with the outside world). I have been through a lot with my heart and I truly want to heal and preserver. This has helped me understand what I can do to reach this as it lies within me. I am ready to start my journey to self realization and enlightenment.

  • Thats great to provide summary of chakras in beautiful manner..all this time I had difficultly in understanding them. Ended up understanding each one is responsible for some and dependent on the other. Providing a quick detailed of their working impacting our behaviour and vice-versa is helping me to understand where I am wrong. Now I know all this time, my chakras are moving anticlockwise. 🎉❤

  • I really appreciate this. I have a lot going on and yes I want to open my chakras not for spiritual reason but to heal myself. To make myself better than what I already am. I hurt someone I cared about now I see what I need to fix and it’s within myself. I want to change for that reason not for him but for myself. Thank you.

  • I just found your website and I have watched 2 articles so far… Do you do guided meditations? Or maybe NLP meditation tracks for people to listen to? Because there is something very special about your voice that I am noticing with these articles- Your voice is actually very hypnotic- tone, cadence, accent- its all very powerful audibly. I would LOVE to have a guided meditation by you to listen to. Just add the right music and talk the way you do here and bam! I have a hard time “visualizing” things, but something in your voice actually seems to help unlock it.

  • I got scared and felt a sense of euphoria during meditation and it was as if something placed me on a high mountain and I almost went crazy, my body was literally vibrating and felt the vibration like little jolts of electricity running through my body. Thought I was struck by lightning. I didn’t recognise who I was, or who is this body etc… Felt like I was a stranger just living in a meat suit. Felt a sense of all things are possible and we’re all pure energy like a God. Scary to experience and I’m so glad the consciousness came down here.

  • I absolutely love this series. My guides kind of “forced” me into this path, and the rich information you provided for us here is priceless. Thank you for sharing so many different perspectives for us to understand in theory at least, what is the chakras. I also love when you talk about the goddesses. My divine mother is Nyx, the Greek goddess of the night and it’s surprising and amazing to me how that description fits her perfectly. She is the daughter of chaos, the void, the womb of the entire universe. When you talked about looking at the night sky I almost cried. She is my mother, she is where my divine belongs, and the one who sent me the serpent as a guide to work with Kundalini💜🌌

  • This is amazing 🤩 This is the first time someone has explained chakras so well!! I could understand and relate to everything. I was lost in your article, I can’t explain it! 😮 Thank you 😊 for taking the time to make these articles. I do have a question, if you have a hormonal problem or can’t produce hormones naturally can / will that cause your chakras to be unbalanced?

  • I really enjoy listening to your info on this. Something i was woundering … I had what i felt like was an awakening, due to a ayauaska experience . It did not seem bad it was very benificial . Its guided me towards understandings in this field. It was * shown* to me that labling things as good and bad was inherently part of my duelistic nature and that the scale of discord to harmony was reflective of the states of the chakras. Lower ones being more animalistic, higher ones more spiritual. But there was deffinatly a point being made about how labling things in that way was limiting my understanding. I Understand talking about these things is a mine field, choose the wrong word and boom. Im not trying to pin that on you or w/e 😁 . There are access points everywhere to the divine. Mechanism are placed on our path to guide us back to the unity of it all. We choose when we are ready. Love your content, liked, subbed.

  • After learning the basics I have found myself waking up TOO FAST, imagine waking up from a 30 year coma in the middle of a 10 lane highway with too much traffic running in all directions and everything is happening so fast that before you can get a bearing on where you stand another another chaos happens- I haven’t found my ‘steering’ yet, but when I do I will be on the right path for me

  • I had no idea my heart chakra opened until I was able to meditate and connect to the heart when overwhelming joy and bliss. I then had a rush of energy come up and then stopped at my third eye. The energy was so fast. It was within 30 secs. It never reached my crown. After that experience I felt like I had no soul and was going to die. I could not cry or laugh, I was totally emotionless. Then as I was laying surrendered to death I had a burning sensation in my chest for about 3 mins. I then came back to life in a way. I could cry and my head was in my heart. 3 days later I was in a mental hospital because I had death consciousness. This was all done by a dark practitioner that astral projected into my house and I believe did this to me. I still can’t understand it. I’ve been in a spiritual warfare battle with the darker forces you can’t see in the higher realms. They don’t want me to ascend. I then dropped from my heart chakra having faith the devil did not destroy my spiritual growth and my purpose. If anyone knows anything about what I am taking about please leave a comment so I can better understand. I had many oracle readings stating a man I used to date was spiritually attacking me trying to eat my soul and steal my crown. I don’t believe this can even happen but I know for sure I have been spiritual attacked external. I’ve been on a healing journey for 4 years, trying to go through the eye of the needle to reach heaven on earth. Any help regarding my experience would be so helpful!

  • Thank you so very much for posting these extremely informative and unique articles. I can truly feel my spiritual intelligence per se rising as I’m taking note of this information and processing it. There is just one thing that I wanted to say, that I felt called to say, putting down the other articles that are out there in such a dismissive and proclaiming way (for lack of a better way of putting it lol) seemed very distasteful to me. I see these articles that circle around the Internet, regardless of their level of true spiritualness in them, as a tool that people use to eventually get to this point here. As all our journeys are unique and different. I also see them as humanity’s ever increasing awareness as a collective and for me personally I can’t look at them as anything but a positive in that sense.

  • I am so excited to start this journey and ready to love in oneness ❤ I do have a question about love, when you give love to the wrong person is it wrong to take love away from that same person? Will you create negative energy from this? And will I find the answers to these question in the heart chakra episode ?😅 anyways I’m really excited I can’t wait to learn more ❤
