The Orlando Apollos, based in Orlando, Florida, are part of the Alliance of American Football (AAF). The team recently added a live mascot to their pregame entertainment, named Apollo the Magic Dragon. Apollo is a play on the song “Puff, the Magic Dragon” and the basketball slang term “stuff”.

Did anyone survive Apollo 1?
Apollo 1 was the first crewed flight of Apollo, scheduled to launch on February 21, 1967. However, a fire broke out during a preflight test at Cape Kennedy on January 27, 1967. The fire led to the postponement of crewed launches until NASA cleared them for flight. Saturn IB schedules were suspended for nearly a year, and the launch vehicle with the designation AS-204 carried a lunar module instead of a CM. The missions of AS-201 and AS-202 with Apollo spacecraft were unofficially known as Apollo 1 and Apollo 2 missions.
In 1967, NASA’s Associate Administrator for Manned Space Flight announced that the original mission for Grissom, White, and Chaffee would be known as Apollo 1, and the first Saturn V launch would be known as Apollo 4. The eventual launch of AS-204 became known as the Apollo 5 mission. No missions or flights were ever designated Apollo 2 or 3. The second launch of a Saturn V, known as AS-502, or Apollo 6, was a success, but two first-stage engines shut down prematurely and the third-stage engine failed to reignite after reaching orbit.
Are the Jaguars moving to Orlando?
The Jaguars will play in a reduced capacity stadium in 2026, then host home games in Gainesville or Orlando the following year. The deal includes a 30-year lease, a non-relocation agreement, and a provision limiting games outside Jacksonville. The project was fast-tracked last year after new Jacksonville mayor Donna Deegan took office and spearheaded negotiations. Khan and Lamping first started looking at stadium upgrades in 2016.
What is Orlando City nickname?
Orlando, Florida, is known for its over 100 lakes, including the 80-foot deep Lake Eola. The city was once the main hub of Florida’s citrus industry, but a deep freeze in the late 1800s led to farms moving their citrus crops further south. The city’s name is unknown, but it is believed to have been named after a character in Shakespeare’s “As You Like It”. The oldest remaining structures in downtown Orlando are the Rogers Building and the 1890 Railroad Depot.
In 2015, 66 million people visited Orlando, making it the world’s most visited destination. Gatorland, the first theme park in Orlando, opened in 1949 with a 15-foot gator as its main attraction. Universal Studios opened in 1990, featuring attractions like Nickelodeon, Back to the Future, E. T., Ghostbusters, and The Bates Hotel. The city’s official nickname is “The City Beautiful” or “O-Town”. The Orlando Magic NBA team was almost known as the Orlando Juice, with a 1987 contest to choose the team’s name. Orlando is a popular travel destination, with science programs, music festivals, and bowl games, including WorldStrides, which sends hundreds of students to the city.
What is the old Florida state mascot?
Sammy Seminole, a Native American mascot, first appeared at the 1958 FSU Pow Wow homecoming event. He was initially portrayed by white gymnastics students wearing faux-Native American garb, leading the Seminoles football team onto the field and performing cheers and acrobatic stunts. The gymnastics program ceased sponsoring Sammy Seminole in 1968, but he was re-introduced. In the late 1960s, Sammy Seminole was replaced by the stereotyped “Chief Fullabull” for the basketball team.
Both Sammy Seminole and the basketball mascot were eventually retired by the school in 1977 to find a more respectful school mascot. Chief Osceola and Renegade replaced them, with Chief Osceola officially supported by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The controversy surrounding Native American mascots continues to this day.
Will the Jaguars leave Jacksonville?
Jacksonville has approved a $1. 4 billion “stadium of the future” proposal, which would keep the Jaguars in one of the NFL’s smallest markets for at least another 30 years. The proposal, approved by city councilmembers 14-1, is now being considered by NFL owners for final approval. The owners are scheduled to meet in Atlanta in October, with 24 out of 32 votes needed to seal the deal. The Jaguars don’t expect much pushback from the league, despite the 50-50 financial split being higher than most NFL owners contribute towards new or renovated stadiums.
What happened to the Orlando Apollos?
The American Basketball Association (AAF) announced that the Apollos had to relocate their practices to Camden County High School in Kingsland, Georgia, due to Florida worker’s compensation laws. The team had to move players to hotels in Jacksonville, Florida, and commute to home games in Orlando. The AAF was unable to secure a league-wide insurance plan, and while Georgia will arrange worker’s compensation insurance for businesses, Florida does not classify professional athletes as employees.
The Apollos began play on February 9, winning their first game in a blowout against the Atlanta Legends. They were the last undefeated team in the inaugural season before losing to the Arizona Hotshots on March 16. However, they bounced back by beating the Atlanta Legends 36-6, qualifying for the playoffs.
After the league’s suspension of football operations, head coach Spurrier declared the Apollos “honorary champions” and paid out futures bets placed on all AAF teams.
What is the offensive mascot for Florida State?
The Osceola and Renegade symbols were created in 1962 by Bill Durham, a Tallahassee businessman and Florida State alumnus. The idea of a horseback-riding Seminole mascot was conceived by Durham, who was voted into the school’s homecoming court. In 1977, Durham returned to the idea, with the support of Ann Bowden, wife of head football coach Bobby Bowden. Durham contacted the Seminole Tribe of Florida, who made the first costume for Osceola. Durham provided the horse and Bowden helped acquire the necessary permits.
Osceola and Renegade debuted in 1978 against the Oklahoma State Cowboys and became popular. Other faux-Indian traditions arose, including the “War Chant” in 1984 and the “Tomahawk Chop” shortly after. Durham oversaw the Osceola tradition for 25 years, and over time aspects of the performance have become more refined and regulated. In 2002, Durham retired and passed his role on to his son Allen Durham.
In the 1980s and 1990s, when mascots based on Native Americans became more controversial, Florida State consulted with the Seminole Tribe of Florida, emphasizing that Osceola was never intended to be demeaning. Several Seminole Tribe representatives have given FSU their blessing to use Osceola and Seminole imagery, but the matter remains controversial for other Florida Seminoles and members of the Seminole Tribe of Oklahoma.
Is Orlando getting a football team?
The XFL was initially planning to relocate a team to Orlando in April 2020, as it was one of the largest markets without an NFL team and had hosted the Orlando Rage in the original XFL of 2001. The league initially planned to move the Tampa Bay Vipers to Orlando due to their lukewarm support and practice facility in Plant City. However, discussions began about potentially moving to the Red Bull Arena.
On July 25, 2022, the league confirmed that Orlando would receive a team in 2023 and Tampa Bay would no longer have one. The league also confirmed that there would be no team in the New York area. However, team brands were leaked in September and confirmed a month later, revealing that the Vipers brand would be relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, and Orlando would receive the branding of the former New York Guardians.
Terrell Buckley was reported as the head coach for the Orlando team in April 2022. The Orlando Guardians finished the season 1-9, only winning against the DC Defenders.
What is the Orlando mascot?
Stuff the Magic Dragon, the Magic’s mascot, has won Mascot of the Year twice in 2016 and 2017, making him the only mascot to win it in two consecutive seasons. Other mascots to have won the award more than once include Jazz Bear, Clutch the Rocket Bear, and The Coyote. Stuff is also busy with other activities, such as helping Aaron Gordon during the Slam Dunk Contest in 2016, hosting the “Celebrity Mascot Games” at Amway Center, and supporting New Hope for Kids.
What is the mascot of Orlando City?
Orlando City SC’s mascot is Kingston, an anthropomorphized lion with brown and purple dreadlocks. The club has been officially sponsored by Orlando Health since its inception as a USL franchise in 2010. In 2013, Orlando Health extended its partnership with the club, becoming the first jersey partner in MLS history to commit to an expansion club before its admittance to the league. Adidas also signed on as the club’s kit provider for the 2015 season, allowing only one kit to change per season, rotating on an annual basis.

As of the 2017 season, Orlando City’s season ticket base stands at a cap of 18, 000. On March 8, 2015, Orlando’s home opener versus New York City FC had a record attendance of 62, 510 people, setting a new record for an expansion team.

35 MOST INAPPROPRIATE MOMENTS IN SPORTS Here are 35 MOST INAPPROPRIATE MOMENTS IN SPORTS. Please …
Prince was a genius who shared his talent with the rest of the world. He shared his tremendous gift, pain, & passion with us. We never felt alone in our grief because of him. I am grateful to have his music that evokes a spectrum of emotions, and memories. I will miss Prince… there will never be another man like him. He truly was a legend. A handsome and gorgeous man. I’ll miss him forever.
Isn’t it strange how artists like Prince and Michael Jackson died so young of drug overdoses. They were both trying to speak out about the music industry and had been heavily involved in philanthropy. Trying to literately make this world a better place. Speaking out against climate change and many other issues in the world . They were so talented and gave us some of the best music we will ever hear in our lives and now they are gone and both died in the same way. I truly believe this was planned and I wish these artists were wise enough to not feed into the trap of being manipulated into taking these drugs. I wish they were more careful and took control of at least their bodies and health. The music industry will NEVER be the same, not in a million years. They were beyond talented.
Its heartbreaking to know these artists are being treated like garbage, over some worthless paper we call money. This fits in well with a theory I had with one artist that appears to be shuffled all around the world to promote their music and to keep the money stream flowing. I will not mention the name of the artist because this is pure speculation, but it really breaks my heart. As one with depression and mental ailments, I really feel for Kanye and pray he is kept safe in this turmoil. I appreciate this article explaining about this fitting in with Prince and Michael Jackson. Deep down, they are human beings, too. 😪
Every single word is true. They killed Micheal Jackson. He tried to tell us through the lyrics in his music. They killed Price as well. There is so much more to this than anyone could know. But you can’t go back and listen to some of Michael’s music lyrics where he exposes these insane situations. The truth is in the lyrics you just have to pay attention to what you’re hearing.
Why is it that prince is the only artist who died from fentanyl and is said to be addicted to it and yet other artist and celebrities had died from fentanyl but they don’t accuse them of being an addict?? Doesn’t make sense… but yes Prince was right and during his slave era, people thought he was crazy about the stuff he was saying and about owning your masters. Everytime he talked about owning your masters, people thought he was being an asshole about him not wanting to work with other artist who don’t own their masters. He was right about contracts and artist not getting paid correctly for their own work! I do believe he was murdered because he died inside his elevator on April 21. April 21 is the same date they recorded sometimes it snows in April. Strange that his death are similar to his songs. An elevator “let’s go crazy” April 21, sometimes it snows in April about his character Christopher Tracy’s death and song was recorded years ago on April 21. His character dies and he dies on the same date that the song was recorded.
The music industry profits for life off of the work their artist put in, hell it’s generational wealth for their families not the artists. They own your masters, your publishing, you’re signed to their lawyers, their accountants, their banks, etc; everybody eats from what you’ve prepared except your family. You go to their doctors, their therapist and so on. Then when you become enlightened and try to pull away, you’re mental, delusional, paranoid and such. God forbid you begin to expose the inner dealings of the business, you’ll probably end up like MJ, Prince and countless of others that go against the status quo. Puffy knows the game and he’s using it to his advantage ijs😮
I am still a huge fan of Prince and still find it unbelievable that the drugs they gave him had to kill him. Injuries can be healed other ways NOT DRUGS FOR EVERYTHING. Rest in peace Prince I hope the truth is revealed! Yes other lazy people making money off the artist. It’s still happening to Vincent Van Goph, Monet, all benefactors pumping the money instead of supporting newer artists. Live living artists no drag out the old because of Copyright Laws. Artists need to learn about the business side too, to protect their work and themselves!
We’ve been trying to tell people this for so long, I’m so glad the lies are finally being exposed mainstream…. remain independent and remember that your gifts belong to God and are from God, give them back to him by doing good with it or protect them from the evil by only using them in private….some people cannot accept that in this life their name may not be “great” but what if God’s true design for us was much different than the picture that evil painted for us
The music industry has been corrupted for a long time and not just over black artist. If you don’t know this just go back and study the history and how the record labels get Artist and own them through their work and how everyone gets paid. Well, Prince is talking about that situation now in his interviews and you can tell he didn’t want to go their but know it is necessary and gives a true Birds Eye view on what has been going on, is going on and what coming down the pipe with streaming services. He was fighting against the powers that be about getting control of his own music, owning all his masters and breaking free from the control he was under. Kinda like a slave trying to escape his master. They will kill you before letting you escape to freedom! Real talk! Regardless of whatever lifestyle Prince, Michael, or Whitney lived the commonality is they each wanted to break free from the industry status quo of ownership. Prince refused to sign back with Time Warner unless he had is master copies meaning he owned all rights! Master Time Warner wasn’t hearing that. From Prince or any other Artist. The medical emergency right before Prince death happened on Warren Buffett airplane ✈️. Who does Mr Buffett own? Time Warner! Who broke the news of his death, TMZ…owned by who? 😉 Where there is smoke, ….! Now Writers and actors/actresses are striking almost ten years after Prince mentioned this. See the interview of snoop doggy going off on this very subject about Artist not getting paid off of streaming services!
I am a Huge fan of Prince and have seen him Live several times. I have a real serious question that I am going to just throw out there. Is there like an Official website to purchase like CDs and stuff off the Vault? I am asking because I used to be able to get my hands on stuff literally Decades Ago but I swear it’s not available now. I am telling you peoples he has at least 30 Albums that have not been released Yet…
I still remember the day Prince died. I was in 8th grade and he died on a Friday. That following Monday so many people came to school w a lil bit of purple face paint (which I still think was stupid), but it hit our teachers the hardest. It was a light day because most of my teachers specifically and coincidentally were prince fans, and my math teacher was crying cause he had purple rain on and when I would die 4 u, when doves cry, and Purple Rain came on it all made him entirely forget the math lesson and he didn’t give us homework for like 3 days. A lot of my teachers ofc carried on like normal either bc they weren’t prince fans or they didn’t really care (enough) cause the world still spins
Mac Miller too. Who by the way, was a huge fan of Prince. He knew the game and knew he could utilize a r from the inside out for us, as fans. Like Prince, injected heart soul and spirit into the music that goes far beyond what the industry machine could control or own. Music is the priceless gift…the deal forces think they can own it but the true power is in what the music touches within us. ‘I think I’m JFKs final speech. They try assassinating all of my beliefs’… “The industry a lie, all their promises were hollow’ -mac The love and power of music and all it connects can never be bought and sold. And as long as we as consumers recognize the energy of what we watch and listen to, we take the power back from the manipulators and share it with each other, and the artists, even when they are no longer here in the flesh. Look up Mac Miller’s tweets when Prince passed away. 💜🕊️
Actually, it was a Hillbilly Guitarist named Hank Garland who went up against the Nashville Mafia over writer’s credit for music. Nashville then destroyed Hanks musical career as a guitarist. They crippled him for life. At the time, Hank was considered the Best On Call Guitarist at the time. He played for Elvis, Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison, Brenda Lee, Mel Tillis, Marty Robbins, and Conway Twitty, to name a few. The Ownership Rights to Music has been fought over since they started needing artists’ music to play over the radio. This should kind of show you how evil & corrupt the entire entertainment industry really is, as well as the Global Elite. No matter how much it is, it will never ever be enough. Let that sink in. All evil begins life from one of the 7 deadly sins. Greed is definitely one. Just Saying 😎
Kanye spoke out at his concert….what happened after, they dragged him to a supposed mental hospital for “treatment” and put out in the media he was mental, mad and unstable! They then took everything away from him! He said it himself how they wanted him on drugs. Prince was NOT a drug addict. He was against it and did charity work in his private life. He spoke out about Sony!! Oh yeah, so did MJ on Sony! They wanted his music catalogue because MJ made the royalties on 1000s of songs ..once he died, Sony managed to aquire that Catalogue from the Jackson estate! When he spoke about Sony….suddenly stories and accusations came out he was a pedophile!! Ruining his career!! If people can’t see there is more that goes on behind the scenes then they need to open their eyes. 😮
Kelly Clarkson went through the same thing. But I think she finally caved cause she’s bigger now than ever across the industry. After her first fifteen years her total assets were only 6 million. Tho she is probably one of the most natural great talents, needing no auto tune and she used her talent not her body to sell her music. She was such a private person for so long, but now puts it all our there, wearing her heart on her sleeve. Singing about her x, much like someone else we know. I always wondered why she was so under rated as a singer. But whatever she has agreed to, it has pushed her up the ladder an into some big bucks.
Look back on all the artists that “tried it”. They’re dead. If you speak out against those demons they turn on you and blame you for your own death. When will this stop? When artists stop signing their lives away to these demons for money. Eventually the demons will be caught. Vengeance is Mine saith the Lord, I will repay.
I thought this was about prince however, Kanye is trying to survive what Prince had been talking about for decades, nobody listened because their pockets were heavy, and they were scared to stand up against the system. Kanye comes acts crazy, and everybody’s down with whatever… I guess it doesn’t matter who delivers the message as long as the message. Gets delivered
Kanye, so be careful with those closest to you. I cant remember when and where I heard the same thing Prince was saying about the real talented artist those are the ones they want. This was back in the day when Prince first started out. Real talent play instruments, write their own music. Real talent. If the artist were aware of how talented they were they didnt have to sell out. They would give you what you want. That is not the reason he was killed, if he hadn’t spoke for over 20 years why would he speak now. He was killed because he won his case after 20 years he was given his rights and ownership of his own music no longer being able to get money from Princes music two years before his death. Funny they said nothing about his addiction or having any concern of Prince being addicted before his death. So, what was found in his system? He wasn’t looking like an addict, he had performed that night in a small private club private setting. He posted he was being followed two weeks before his death, quoted say just when you thought it was safe. He was definitely saying something. That Drs Son needs to be fucken questioned! That Dr needs to be arrested for providing a prescription to someone he had never examined and died from the prescription he was given. Who’s the one that set this up? That person is the one who set Prince up, sold him out.
Prince talked about all this injustice in the industry. Kanye talks about all this injustice in the industry. Prince had the power to change the practices to bring up a generation of musicians outside of that system, but he didn’t. Kanye has the power to do the same. But they just made it public knowledge, and nothing changed. “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is that good men do nothing”.
Tofay, Melvyn Deals and the Jerry Garcia Band lets you plug into the motherboard. Free recording at every Grateful Dead performance from the beginning. Jerry Garcia was a genius and one of the hardest working men in the business. Thankfully, his music is here for us to listen to and enjoy. RIP Prince 🤲🏽🌹🤲🏼🌹🤲🌹 RIP Jerry Garcia 🤲🏽🌹🤲🏼🌹🤲🌹
The kingdom of heaven has come near to you. That’s my short greeting, because I love Jesus Christ. Ye! It’s Kan-Ye! Miss Narrator kept saying his name wrong, like, Kan-e. Thanks for the article. God please help to continue to expose the evils of this world, like the greedy music industry producers, and please keep your people safe from harm’s way, including Mr. Ye, Mr. Yesus! : – ) thank God, thank you Father. Follow me towards God. James Joseph Dickson Thursday, June 8th, 2023 Blue Springs, Missouri Amen.
I believe it has to do with too much pressure to present “good” shows. But it really depends on what the artist want. I’m an independent artist myself and would love to work with record labels. But it depends on what the artist and record industry want. If both can come to a compromise, I don’t see any problem with that. It also happens with other established organisations, not just music companies
I’ve worked in the music industry believe me a lot of exploitation goes on and artists are the collateral damage always. Stay independent and use financial companies Taylor made for independent artists and get a great marketer and build your fan base. With the internet you don’t need the mainstream There is a darkness in the industry that every artist needs to be aware of. Stay away from drugs that’s how they get you in
Love Prince saw them performing 1981 with the Rolling Stones. They got booed off the stage. If anyone was there, they remember. Then they went on to be huge success and powerful in the industry. Rest in peace so sad all of this, especially on the heels of the whole P Diddy scandal is just all too sad.😢😢
Just remember, if you can create the perception that you are more powerful than the law – you can always find hitmen willing to do your bidding. The only thing that most humans perceive to be of true value is money. The only thing that stops them from doing horrible things for money…is consequences. If you groom a public to perceive that wealthy and famous people can get away with serious crimes – you will find people lining-up to be employed by them. And, from that, you will have grouos of like-minded individuals, seeking to gain wealth with no consequences, as “bad guys”. The psychology of our human mind measures all things according to the degree of desire, versus degree of consequences. Laws and rules are gates. They only let those willing to test boundaries thru – so those who get thru, prove they’re worthy of their gains, by avoiding or escaping consequences. These people have learned that nothing matters except power and therefore it is only wise to remove any consequences that get in their way. They just need the public to get used to it first, until they start saying, “That’s just the way it is.” A well-groomed public will laugh and roll it’s eyes at the mere thought of doing anything to stop a corrupt practice. They can be made into the wardens of their own prisons far too easily. Knowing this drives corruption, as people decide it is better to have power over irrational minds, than to operate within ethical boundaries and be a potential victim of the manipulated and exploited ignorance of too many people.
I thought everyone was dying Around Me When my mother died BANG STRAIGHTBLACK INTO MY HEART 💜 MY SPIRITUAL IDEOLOGY AND INDEPENDENCE is unique, Soooooooo PRINCE 👑 send the vibrations of How we do it Bring this System down 🎉 can only use the Higher powers for this reality IM READY snack crackle and pop are not just breakfast cereals yer ❤
All of these artists knew what was in the contract when they signed it chasing fame and fortune, they didn’t have to sign it, they could have said no and then tried to find another way to make it. But, they were happy to sign it when they wanted the fame and once they have the fame they want to rights back to the masters. Same as the Me Too movement, all those people were happy to do whatever it took to make it rich and famous, then once they have made they money that complained about it…they could have walked away if their morals were really as strong as they claim.
I loved Prince since I was a lil girl! My older sister was obsessed w him. Lil red corvette was & still is a favorite. They are also killing these amazing artists off because (correct me if wrong) are they not worth more after passing? Smdh so sad used, abused, then gotten rid of…awful! Rip Prince, Whitney, Bobbi, Michael, Aaliyah, Tupac, and many more I am sure. Respect Kanya more now!
Listen to me! Give your life to Jesus.. Whoever you are, if you’re reading this, PLEASE LISTEN.. These disputes have nothing to do with the music business, it’s all a battle for one’s Soul.. They’re all part of it, even you as an audience are, like it or not part of it.. The devil runs rampant in Hollywood and the world cos he wants to recruit many but only one person can save us who is the head of all powers.. It’s Jesus Christ of Nazareth, call for him and see the truth, he is the King and if you are in him, no one can touch you.. Kanye knows it, that’s why he’s running to Jesus.. He knows the devil is real and I believe he has seen all the evil Hollywood has to offer (cults and such) that’s why he’s on this ‘Christian’ phase now.. He’s desperately trying to redeem himself, he wants out and I don’t know where it’s gonna get him but Jesus is the only one who can save US. No one is controlling Kanye West, he’s a billionaire for crying out loud! He wants to renounce his riches cos of what it cost him to get them in the 1st place. That’s why he is intentionally being controversial so these companies can let him go. I think his mother (RIP) was implicated and became collateral damage. Please, I’m literally pleading with you.. Look into it, ask God to open your eyes, do your own research if you have to and find out about the sacred oaths these people have to make for fortune and fame inexhange for their Souls. Good and evil are real, heaven and hell are real and if you ask for truth, the Holly Spirit will show you.
Prince and Michael said all these things first not Kanye. The house mortgage / music contract analogy..that was Prince. Michael made statements against music executives in songs yet changed the the lyrics when it was taken as antisemetic. He was talking about specific people not in general. Prince grew older and wiser and less need for explicit and shocking lyrics and music. Kanye is a whole different deal. He’s right about contracts but he should’ve known better since Prince and Michael were the people who warned about it.. Plus Ye’s gone from singer to preacher to stalker to hate speech to pimp in a year or so. He needs his meds or he spirals out into nonsense and craziness . He’s wasting so much money, controlling his ” wife” to be a submissive sex object while he covers everything. He appears to disrespect the female sex. He’s lost so much money. Hes lost the plot. He’s has ruined his future with his children. Good God the stuff they will see and hear some day. He needs to get help. Medicated or not. Somebody needs to muzzle him and get him counseling and a private place and time to get his head on straight if that’s possible. He has multiple properties destroyed and rotting. A crazy school shut down and his ” church ” tarped and tattered. Yet he’s out in public doing explicit things in public while his children are the farthest thing from him now. Michael and Prince were dichotomies too and fought their demons but they truly were geniuses and didnt have to say it about themselves.

Thats why he wore the word Slave on his face and for a short period silenced his name. He did get control of his masters. When u join all the slander online concerning artist and all the atrocities they’ve committed rmb one thing, it is the industry that created the monster. These young ppl go in innocent and come out just a shadow of themselves. Prince was a musical genius, a once in a lifetime creation. I have no doubt they took his life and used someone he trusted to do it. That is my belief.
They put Bill Cosby in jail as an old man, when he was trying to buy a TV station. Oprah couldn’t buy either so she came up with her own and still truned bad. These young rapper’s don’t even know, they’re time is limited. Makes me wonder if it is even worth it to get into the music industry. Only if you’re doing gospel and you’re not even safe there either.
Prince, MJ, and Kanye spoke the truth about being used by the labels who “own” their masters. Sam Cooke was murdered because he figured out the game and was intelligent enough to know he had to own his masters and his publishing–both of which are key to ensuring the money any artist makes stays with her or him and not in the pockets of “handlers” aka “agents,” or “managers.” The outgrowth of Indy talent is a direct result of the history of the industry prostituting its talent. Whether its singing, dancing, acting, or modeling–the genre of the artist makes no difference. The behaviors of the vampires of the industry are across the board in every nation on the face of the Planet. Believe it? Or, not.
