When Is Mystic Spearhand Unlocked?

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, the Mystic Spearhand vocation is the first of the hybrid vocations that can be unlocked within the first five hours of gameplay. To unlock this vocation, players must speak with Sigurd during the Readvent of Calamity quest, visit him at his Coastal Hut in Harve Village, or speak with him about his unique fighting style. The best skills, builds, weapons, and armor for the Mystic Spearhand can be unlocked by speaking to him specifically about his fighting style.

The earliest method to unlock the Mystic Spearhand DD2 is to head back to Melve and defeat a rotten Dragon after completing the first of Brant’s quests. However, players need to revisit Melve for a second time after playing through some of the main story. Unlocking the Mystic Spearhand is achieved fairly early in the game, following the steps below.

The Mystic Spearhand vocation can be unlocked fairly early on, but players need to trigger a dragon attack in Melve before it’s possible. To unlock the vocation, players usually have to go to Battahl and do his level 25+ quest. After speaking to Sigurd, a notification should pop up letting them know that the Mystic Spearhand has been unlocked.

The fastest way to unlock the Mystic Spearhand vocation occurs a few hours into Dragon’s Dogma 2 after reaching Vernworth and completing the Warrior and Sorcerer vocations. Speak to Sigurd and ask him about his unique fighting style, and when you end the conversation, you will unlock the Mystic Spearhand vocation.
