Amazon Prime Video has announced that Good Omens, Neil Gaiman’s apocalyptic comedy series, has been renewed for a third and final season. The show will focus on the end of the world and the plans for Armageddon, with Crowley and Aziraphale working together. Season One was about averting Armageddon, dangerous prophecies, and the End of the World, while Season Two was sweet and gentle.
Good Omens Season 3 will be released on July 28 in six episodes, featuring David Tennant and Michael Sheen as demon Crowley and angel Aziraphale. All six episodes will be released exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The production status of Good Omens Season 3 is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to start filming sometime in early 2024, potentially leading to a late 2024 or 2025 release. Series creator Neil Gaiman recently revealed that filming for the final season will not commence until January 2025.
In December, Gaiman confirmed that a third season was in the works and would be the swansong for the angel Aziraphale and his demonic pal, Crowley. Amazon Prime Video has not yet confirmed the release date for Good Omens Season 3, but fans can catch up on the first season.
