Pendulum monsters can be destroyed using cards like Mystical Space Typhoon, Fairy Wind, or Spell Shattering. These cards can target and destroy a Pendulum Monster Card in the Pendulum Zone with their effects. However, they cannot be replaced like field spells. To remove a Pendulum Monster from your pendulum, you can chain Mystical Space Typhoon from your hand if it’s your turn.
Pendulum monsters are susceptible to Special Summoning (S/T) removal, and summoning an “Archfiend of Gilfer” equipped to a monster can be used to equip it. Cards like Solemn Warning or Mystical Space Typhoon can destroy Pendulum Monsters, but they must first be removed by a card like Mystical Space Typhoon.
When placing a Pendulum Monster as a scale, it is treated as a continous spell card and can be destroyed by St removal methods like MST. Mystical Space Typhoon does not negate the activation or effect of a Pendulum spell card, so even if you chain Mystical Space Typhoon to their activation and destroy them, it will still resolve without effect.
Pendulum monsters are only considered spell cards when they are in their pendulum zones. Compulsory Evacuation Device won’t work on them, as they are not monsters.

What can typhoons destroy?
Hurricanes and typhoons can cause severe damage to coastlines and inland areas, with winds exceeding 155 miles per hour, tornadoes, and microbursts. They can create storm surges along the coast and cause extensive damage from heavy rainfall. Floods and flying debris are often the deadly and destructive results of these weather events. Slow-moving hurricanes and typhoons traveling into mountainous regions tend to produce especially heavy rain, which can trigger landslides or mud slides.
Between 1970 and 1999, more people lost their lives from freshwater inland flooding associated with tropical cyclones than from any other weather hazard related to such storms. To protect your home from these storms, cover windows with permanent storm shutters or 5/8-inch marine plywood, install straps or additional clips to securely fasten your roof to the frame structure, trim trees and shrubs for wind resistance, clear loose gutters and downspouts, reinforce garage doors, plan for outdoor furniture, secure boats, install generators for power outages, prepare for shelter on or below the 10th floor in high-rise buildings, and consider building a safe room.
Can pendulum monsters be banished?
Pendulum Monsters, also known as Pendyuramu Monsutā in Japanese, are half green monster cards that first appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. They were introduced to the OCG and TCG in Starter Deck 2014 and Super Starter: Space-Time Showdown, respectively. If a card effect causes cards not to go to the Graveyard, they will be moved to designated zones or banished. The Pendulum Monster is also known as Archfiend Eccentrick, Zany Zebra, Rescue Hamster, and Dragong. The monsters are also known in various languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

Can Mystical Space Typhoon destroy face down cards?
It is possible to destroy any spell or trap card that is currently on the field of play. However, should one destroy a card that is face down, the opponent is then able to activate it, should they be able to do so. To illustrate, if one were to destroy Reckless Greed with Mystical Space Typhoon, the opponent would then be able to activate it.
What cards can MST negate?
MST is only applicable to cards displaying the infinity icon, which are continuous.
Can you Mystical Space Typhoon pendulum monsters?
Pendulum Monsters are special monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel that can be summoned as Spell cards, not monsters. They are treated as such in the far left and far right Spell Zones. One of the most famous rules in the game is that you can only summon one monster per turn. However, in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, the Pendulum Summoning mechanic is one of the most significant ways to do this. With just two monsters, you can quickly fill the field with your best pieces.
Pendulum Summoning is one of the game’s six types of Special Summons, and unlike other types, you can summon multiple monsters at once with it. To do this, you need special monsters called Pendulum Monsters. Understanding how Pendulum Summoning works and building your deck around it is crucial for getting the most out of it.
Can mystical space typhoon destroy imperial order?
Mystical Space Typhoon (MST) is a card that can be used to negate magic or trap cards. However, it is important to note that MST does not negate magic or trap cards. Instead, it can destroy the opponent’s Harpie’s Feather Duster or Raigeki, which is not negated by MST. MST can also destroy Imperial Order (IO) by activating it in response to its effect, which activates and resolves before the effect of IO can activate and resolve. This combination is valid because IO’s effect can only be in effect while on the field.
Quick-play spell cards can be used to gain attributes of a trap card when played face down during a turn. However, MST cannot be activated in response to an opponent’s quick-play, as they gain the attributes of a trap card. It is crucial to understand the rules behind MST and its potential applications in various situations.
Can pendulum summon be negated?
When a pendulum is activated as a spell, it is treated as such and can be negated, meaning Beast, Magic Jammer, and other monsters can negate their activations. This is because they were not on the field when they died. A friend of mine was able to activate a Pendulum Monster as a spell in a Pendulum Zone, and he used the effect of “Beast” and milled two cards. However, his friend, a qualified judge at a local tournament, believed that Pendulum Monsters activated in a Pendulum Zone are considered Monster Cards with a Continuous Effect, treating them as a Spell Card only after they resolve. This contradicted my friend’s belief that “Beast” is a “Monster Card” and not a “Spell Card”.
A YuGiOh Blog post stated that playing Pendulum Monster Cards as Pendulum Spells doesn’t take up Spell and Trap Card Zones, allowing players to use all their favorite spells and traps without worrying about running out of Zones. Additionally, playing a Pendulum Spell isn’t a one-shot ability like Normal Spell Cards, as they stay on the field as Spell Cards and their effects continue to apply as long as they’re on the field.
Can you destroy pendulum monsters?
Pendulum Monsters, which are also Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz, cannot be placed in the Pendulum Zone as they cannot exist in hand. Instead, they have effects that can be placed from the field. When a Pendulum Monster is destroyed, it returns to the Extra Deck face-up but cannot be summoned using its built-in summoning method. Pendulum card staples were introduced in 2017, but they had to abide by the same rules as Link Monsters, Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz Monsters.
However, in 2021, the rules changed again, lifting restrictions on these methods while Pendulums still had to abide by them. This loss of the ability to swarm the board over and over again each turn has resulted in Pendulum decks losing their most powerful advantage. Pendulum Summoning is not used outside of dedicated decks, and there are no staple cards that can go in any deck.
Can mystical space typhoons negate?
“Mystical Space Typhoon” and “Dust Tornado” do not negate the effects of cards they destroy, so Spell and Trap Cards that are chained to them may still resolve if they are in the Graveyard. The Ancient Forest card does not change the Defense Position monsters to Attack Position if “Mystical Space Typhoon” is chained to its activation. If “Mystical Space Typhoon” is chained to “Pot of Benevolence” and destroyed, it is sent to the Graveyard instead of being removed from play.
Did Yugi use Mystical Space Typhoon?
In episode 179, Yami Yugi uses a card to defeat Dartz’s “Twin Bow Centaur” during a Tag Duel with Seto Kaiba. In episode 102, Téa Gardner uses this card to defeat Crump’s set “Gust” and “Mirror Force”, allowing Crump to activate “Driving Snow”. In episode 174, Yami Yugi uses this card to defeat Rafael’s “Gravity Axe – Grarl”, reducing the ATK of “Guardian Grarl” to 1000. In the next episode, Yami Yugi activates the effect of “Amulet Dragon” to banish all Spell Cards from his Graveyard and increase its ATK by 300 for each banished card. The card’s use in various Duels and games showcases its versatility and power.
