Do People Perform Witchcraft Rituals With Dogs?

In white magic, dogs often assist in spells without risk to their own safety. However, black magic often involves dangerous rituals and even animal sacrifices, as witches believed they could access their pure, divine energy and use it to combat dark magic. Animal symbolism in witchcraft is not just a bunch of hocus-pocus, but also includes the slaughter of animals for ritual purposes.

In modern Pagan traditions, animal symbolism and even actual animals are incorporated into magical belief and practice. Dogs have special pressure points that relieve stress, encourage healing, and promote a sense of safety. They are viewed as magical companions assisting witches in their mystical pursuits.

The history of familiar spirits is fascinating, and it is essential to identify and connect with one’s own familiar, share rituals and spells, and learn about the stories of Elizabeth Sawyer and her dog-familiar, Tom. Wiccan witches do not make sacrifices of animals, and it is not true that they actually harm babies.

Dogs are highly used in witchcraft and sorcery, and are considered important to witches and warlocks. Like cats, every organ and part of a dog is considered important to witches and warlocks. Issues with dogs could be blamed on witchcraft as well. The history of witchcraft is complex, and it is more the personality and ritual of the witch doctor that counts rather than the particular animal sacrified. In modern times, Melusine Draco is claimed as the goddess of witches, and dogs were closely associated with Hecate in the classical world.

When someone is sacrificing animals for dark purposes such as satanic rituals and witchcraft, these acts can include torture to both the animal and the person sacrificial.

What are the practices of witchcraft?

Eclectic Witchcraft encompasses a range of time-honored, globally referenced magickal, spiritual, and occult practices that resonate with the individual Witch. These practices can include elements of Shamanism, Reiki, Yoga, Eastern philosophy, Buddhism, and various occult practices.

Elemental Witchery is an ancient form of the Craft, rooted in the understanding of the power of the Elements—Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Early folk healers and magicians observed how these forces influenced their daily lives, including fire for warmth and cooking, water for drinking and farming, the earth they lived on, and the air they breathed.

Green or Hedge Witches are deeply connected to the Earth and its energy, drawn to plants, trees, and flowers. They often grow their own herbs and flowers for use in their homes, kitchens, and magick.

Kitchen Witches, Tea Witches, and Hearth or Cottage Witches are home-centric individuals who love to make their home a sacred space and welcome any kind heart and intent into it.

What is the spiritual meaning of animal blood?

Blood is the sacred life force in both animals and humans, used for various purposes such as earth fertility, purification, and expiation. In ancient Greece and India, oblations included domestic animals like goats, rams, bulls, oxes, horses, edible birds, wild animals of the hunt, and fish. The type and number of animals for these sacrifices were carefully stipulated to ensure their effectiveness.

The sacrificial species were often closely associated with the deity they were offered, as the deity’s symbolic representation or incarnation. For example, in Vedic rituals, goddesses received milk from a black cow with a white calf, while the sun god Surya was offered a white male goat. Ancient Greeks sacrificed black animals to the deities of the dark underworld, swift horses to the sun god Helios, pregnant sows to the earth mother Demeter, and dogs to Hecate, goddess of darkness.

Human sacrifices were widespread and had various intentions, ranging from communion with a god and participation in his divine life to expiation and promotion of the earth’s fertility. They were adopted by agricultural peoples rather than hunting or pastoral peoples. Human sacrifices were considered the most valuable and potent manifestation of the life-force, with bloodless human sacrifices taking on different forms.

In Mexico, the Aztec and Nahua calendrical maize ritual in the 14th century ce resulted in sacrifices involving up to 20, 000 victims annually. Bloodless human sacrifices also developed and assumed different forms, such as immersion in sacred wells, strangulation of women, and intermentation of the king’s retinue in ancient China.

Can humans share blood with animals?

New research suggests that humans can donate blood serum protein called albumin to save the lives of their pets. Blood transfusions require stringent matching to avoid life-threatening reactions in blood recipients, making it uncommon for humans to donate blood to animals. Blood contains various cells and chemicals, including red blood cells, white blood cells, antibodies, and special cells and chemicals that promote clotting after injury to protect against excessive blood loss.

Albumin is a crucial blood protein that acts as a sponge, keeping the water content of blood in arteries and veins. Arteries and veins are connected cells that form a hose, but their joints can leak water. Serum albumin creates an osmotic force that attracts water to prevent it from leaking from blood vessels through cell junctions.
