I am only a begginer, so I watch your articles to learn a little but mostly for fun. Your voice is the best ASMR i have ever found on YouTube, It’s so calming it helped with my insomnia ❤️ Please don’t get me wrong I absolutely love and appreciate your art, all I’m saying is that you have the best voice in the universe and it gives me all the right feelings 😊
Love perusal your tutorials. I know you are big Bob Ross fan. Me too! I learned so much from him and didn’t even know it. Watched him for 20 years and only started painting about 5 months ago, and found all that stuff I learned from him coming out of the end of my brush! I’ve been using craft paint to do paintings and have had really good results, but as I buy new paint, I think I’ll upgrade to your paints. I trust you to know they are good products and you aren’t charging an arm and a leg. And thanks for this tutorial! It was great!!!
Thank you so very much for this “acrylic – blending” tips article. I really appreciate it. Thank you also for all your “tip” articles. I was really needing to know how to get the “glow” in my waves with acrylics. Love this article – will prob watch it more than 20 or 30 times – at least ten to 15!!! Thank you, again!!!
I am a total beginner at painting and I learnt heaps from your blending article, thank you I think you are an amazing painter and I love your work and I enjoy watch you paint. One Question I have is what brushes do you recommend a beginner to have to start with?? I’ve noticed a #4 round is popular but apart from that I don’t know.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. This is the first time I have learned and come to appreciate the importance of right blending of acrylic paints, selection of brudh type, and wiping the brush before blending. No wonder my waves in the ocean and clouds in the sky look nothing better than blobs of paint that are highlighted by brush streaks. 🥵
What an informative article! Please tell me what brand name of foundation medium that you used in the article? Acrylic medium out there is overwhelming, such as glazing, slowdri…tons of brand names that beginner as I am, is so confused and does not know what to chose. Appreciate your help in answering my question. Thanks.
I was googling foundation medium and came up with Liquitex gloss, matte . I was wondering if what you were using is close to the same thing? Or is it different from this? I found your site and what you used here but it doesn’t say anything about if it’s gloss or not. So I’m wondering if that’s even the same thing. Lol sorry I’m really just getting started.
I always worked in oils, but they are expensive, take forever to dry, clean up is a mess and the smell. So I decided to go with acrylics. OMG my hat off to you and all who use acylics. What a difficult medium to use. Its like relearning everything. Fairly sure Bob Ross would have yanked out his hair and had fits of turrets using this stuff. IT DRYS SO FAST. Anyone who invents a way to make it dry slower will be rich beyong belief. Im almost to the point of doing mono chomatic and then using a wash for colors. My again my hat off to you Sir.
I need your help : my grandchildren 3 and 6 They asked me how to teach them how to paint Should I draw some pictures like what things or give me ideas pls? Or should I tell them to draw any pictures they like before paint??? HELPS me. Please Thank you I always enjoy perusal your tutorials! Good job! 🤟🏻🎨👵🏼
