I’m taking classes to become a pharmacy tech because I’m in a ged school and me and the girls want to go in medical field but my school couldn’t get nurse classes out to our school but the principal was able to get the pharmacy teacher of Staten Island college to come to our school and teach us . I get paid to take the classes and the principal pick a few girls and paid for them and I was 1 of them that was pick . When I get my GED I half to take a test what I learned in pharmacy tech and the principal paying for everybody test the first time and if we fail the first time the second time we on our own with paying . I like the classes but don’t be taking studying seriously and I need to because everyone don’t get it this easily. And the pharmacy teacher said I’f we fail we can still work in a pharmacy but it’s still good to have that certification. And the class is only 4 3 months.

So for me…I just applied for the state trainee license right..but from what I’m seeing I think nowadays the hospitals are hiring with state license. I see that or certified req on the qualifications. I can’t work at retail during the day..I would take too low a pay cut. Can you let me know if you’re seeing recently where working in the hospital is now possible with the state trainee license. Girl. I did my clinical lab asssting course and im not sure if ill pass the skill portion( venipuncture) so i need a backup plan ASAP if i don’t get mt certificate of completion award. Ive been at my old jobs for 3+ yrs and im DONE with it. I need a job that will helped me tremendously when i go to nurschool school which i m aplying this yesr and will start next year if i get accepted. Hello great vid yet I got a call from WalMart where I applied for online delivery and even electronic department yet got a call from the pharmacy and he knew I didnt apply yet said I could try to work in teh pharmacy even though I had no experience or anything. thank you for this. I found an opening for this kind of job at Raley’s, I was already wanting to go to school to be a Pharm Tech, but couldn’t afford it, so I REALLY want this. Some questions, I was thinking in my cover letter to include that I already have a lot of knowledge about medications due to my own experience with taking meds since I was 18, as well as managing my grandmas medication, and my mothers. Would that be helpful to include, or could the fact that i also take medication be something that would prevent them from hiring me? Once I get my certification in my state, would I be able to use it at other pharmacies in any other state? Or would I have to start over again? And could I then transfer to a hospital once I get my certification through the pharmacy? Finally, does the pay rate go up once you are certified or will it remain the same wage as I started?
